ESCAPING MY OBSESSED MAFIA LORD Chapter 1 MISTY APPEARANCE

BIANCA'S POV

"How is this supposed to be worn?" I blushed red, staring at the salesperson.

"You'll tie it here, clip this side with this extra pin and VIOLA!, you will be looking more perfect.

I smiled giddily as I tried to imagine how Austin would stare when he sees me in such a piece. Though I had been married for the past four years, it was more of an employer to employee association with us only that either my heart did not listen or could not control itself as it had fallen completely in love with him.

Watching her pack it and some other pairs, a customer burst in with a fish pie making me scrunch up my nose in disgust. I tightened my mouth as I felt nauseated by the smell and waved at her to keep it off but instead she brought it more closer probably not understanding what I mean. I quickly rushed to the direction of where the restroom could be and luckily found an empty one. I felt a hand pack up my hair as I bent towards the sink, puking out my intestine.

"Are you okay" she asked worried as I watched my mouth off the remains

"Yeah, I'm fine and thanks for your help" I smiled

"No, it's my fault for bringing the fish pie closer to you, I'm Olivia" she bowed.

"Oh commom! what's the use of bowing, I'm Bianca" I chuckled, shaking her outstretched hand. They felt silky and nice against my own as they glowed. With her attitude and beauty, I'm sure her love life would be better than mine.

I picked up my gotten product after she finished the calculation and walked out of the store. Stopping the next taxi I could get, I quickly gave him directions to our home, hopefully Austin won't be back home yet.

I met Austin five years ago after the death of my mum, I was just seventeen years old. Still a minor and my dad had collected some loan from him for my mum's surgery but unfortunately she still died. My dad, being depressed, went for more loan at his place which was surprisingly given to him despite his infamous attitude but unfortunately, he used those money for bets and always got drunk.

As the days passed, my dad's debts to Austin grew larger and larger. He was unable to keep up with the payments but then Austin had begun to pressure him. My dad tried to find ways to pay off the debts but he was running out of options and that was when Austin came up with the idea of having me as his sex slave for as long as he wanted.

I had just turned eighteen a month before and was working as a waitress when my supervisor suddenly walked in on the counter and fired me for no reason. I had gone home with a sad heart but was shocked at the quantity of shoes at our entrance but that was nothing compared to how I felt when he dropped the news.

As I stepped inside the house, my father stood up and rushed towards me, making me frown confusedly. Right from when I was a kid, he had never hugged me so it came like a huge shock when he did. I had always been treated as trash because I wasn't a boy. He had always wanted a male child but was disappointed when I was born, which he took out greatly on my mum but later forgave her and showed her love. I was never shown love by him. My mum treated me oddly and would beat me badly at his orders.

As a result of that, I became a loner as I was also mostly mocked at high school. Maybe if I was not treated like an outcast in my home by my parents, I might have become a doctor. As I was always given harsh duties while growing up, I was a constant visitor to pain which kind of fortunately built my emotions and made me know a lot about herbs. Discovering my talent at finding herbs and making use of them. Even though it was wrong at first, it looked interesting and helped ease the pain in my heart. I felt alive and happy when surrounded by herbs so I make sure I finish my duties quickly before rushing towards my herb hideout.

Unfortunately, my joy did not last for as long as I had wished. My dad had seen it before my arrival from school and burned them down. I had cried and gotten lost from running when it happened. I understand his reasons for hating me and all but I had never understood why and how it was my fault. The question kept running through my mind as I kept running into the woods. I had never been treated like their daughter for once but was happy at the sight of herb but he had to ruin it for me, "Just how much did he hate me" I had wondered. I was just nine but already suffered for more than my age, I was given a chance to go to school because it was free and he hated the sight of me, especially since I did the duties done.

Due to their character, I was made a laughing stock amongst my mates who were loved by their parents. I was sure if the school was not free, he would not make an effort to send me to one, he would happily watch my life rotten while laughing at me heuristically.

All these thoughts ran through my nine year old then making me cry at my pathetic life, since I could not make them love me and I'm a burden to them, I decided to free them of the stress of seeing me. Fortunately for my plan, I could not swim and I had reached a dead line in the woods. I had gotten to the lake. I looked up and smiled as I wished to be loved in my next life before jumping into the water. Almost immediately, I heard a huge splash behind me but I could not see what it was or what happened as I sank down with no resistance from me. "Finally, my parents would be happy without me" I smiled.

My five-year-old daughter was dying in the ICU, her heartbeat replaced by the continuous, electronic scream of a flatline. I gripped her cold hand, my throat sealed shut by a terror so absolute I couldn't even cry out. I dialed my husband Grayson's private number, the one reserved only for me and his assistants. He declined the call instantly. A second later, a text buzzed against my palm: "In a meeting. Do not disturb. Stop calling." Five miles away, Grayson was at a luxury gala, adjusting his silk tie and laughing with Belle Escobar. He told her I was just being "dramatic" and using our daughter's "fever" as an excuse to avoid the event. He had no idea Effie's heart had already stopped. When I finally reached our penthouse, soaked from the rain and carrying Effie's small socks in a plastic bag, Grayson didn't even look at me. He snapped at me for ruining the hardwood floors and asked if I'd left Effie with the nanny just to "feel sorry for myself." Three days later, while I buried our daughter in a small, lonely ceremony, Grayson was at the Hamptons. Belle posted a photo of him golfing with the caption: "A mental health day with the boys." He didn't even attend the funeral, but he returned home demanding I clear out Effie's room to make a study for Belle's son. The injustice burned through me until there was nothing left. I swallowed a handful of sleeping pills, desperate to join my daughter. But instead of the darkness, I woke up to blinding lights and the scent of Grayson's expensive cologne. I was standing in a ballroom, wearing a blue silk dress I had already burned. Above me, a banner read: "Happy 5th Birthday Kaiden & Effie." I was back, exactly one year before the tragedy. This time, I wasn't going to be the grieving wife. I was going to be their worst nightmare.

I received a pornographic video. "Do you like this?" The man speaking in the video is my husband, Mark, whom I haven't seen for several months. He is naked, his shirt and pants scattered on the ground, thrusting forcefully on a woman whose face I can't see, her plump and round breasts bouncing vigorously. I can clearly hear the slapping sounds in the video, mixed with lustful moans and grunts. "Yes, yes, fuck me hard, baby," the woman screams ecstatically in response. "You naughty girl!" Mark stands up and flips her over, slapping her buttocks as he speaks. "Stick your ass up!" The woman giggles, turns around, sways her buttocks, and kneels on the bed. I feel like someone has poured a bucket of ice water on my head. It's bad enough that my husband is having an affair, but what's worse is that the other woman is my own sister, Bella. ************************************************************************************************************************ "I want to get a divorce, Mark," I repeated myself in case he didn't hear me the first time-even though I knew he'd heard me clearly. He stared at me with a frown before answering coldly, "It's not up to you! I'm very busy, don't waste my time with such boring topics, or try to attract my attention!" The last thing I was going to do was argue or bicker with him. "I will have the lawyer send you the divorce agreement," was all I said, as calmly as I could muster. He didn't even say another word after that and just went through the door he'd been standing in front of, slamming it harshly behind him. My eyes lingered on the knob of the door a bit absentmindedly before I pulled the wedding ring off my finger and placed it on the table. I grabbed my suitcase, which I'd already had my things packed in and headed out of the house.

For two years, I was the invisible force behind tech billionaire Kieran Douglas, convinced that our "private" romance was his way of protecting us from the tabloid spotlight. I managed his mergers, warmed his bed, and waited for a future that didn't exist. The illusion shattered at 6:00 AM when a Page Six alert debuted Kieran’s "real" romance with socialite Aspen Schneider. Before I could even process the betrayal, Kieran sent me a cold, professional text: "Order flowers for Aspen. Pink peonies. Her favorite." When I tried to walk away, my own mother called me a disgrace and threatened to lock my inheritance forever unless I married a sixty-year-old businessman to save her failing estate. At a high-society gala that same night, Aspen intentionally crushed my burned hand in front of the cameras, while Kieran stood by and dismissed me as a "mediocre assistant" who had overstayed her welcome. I stood in the cold New York rain, drenched in champagne and humiliation, realizing that every sacrifice I made for Kieran was a joke. I was a ghost in a penthouse that was never mine, discarded the moment his "soulmate" returned. To the world, I was just a placeholder whose time had run out. But Kieran forgot one thing: my father’s multi-million dollar trust fund unlocks the moment I legally marry. I didn't need love; I needed a signature and a shield. I walked into a discreet law firm and signed a marriage contract with a man I believed was the city’s most notorious, scandal-ridden playboy. I thought I was marrying a degenerate "beard" to buy my freedom and secure my revenge. I didn't realize the man who signed that paper wasn't a playboy at all, but Gaston Collins—the most powerful and dangerous man on Wall Street—and he had no intention of letting our fake marriage stay fake.
