The Unaware Heir: She Has A Baby For The Billionaire Chapter 1 One

VICTORIA'S POV

"Hi," I said, as I approached the man I already gave the honour of being the hottest man in this masquerade party.

"Hello lady," He replied, swiftly moving to catch me as I almost fell forward.

I already had too much to drink or should I say three glasses of wine. The effect of the wine had my head going in circles.

"Be careful, miss," He said to me. He made sure to increase the tone of his voice, since the blaring music in the hall blurred our voices.

"I am good, I am good," I said, trying to maintain my stance, as I depended on his support.

What was more captivating was his strong physique. My left hand was still on his chest, my right hand on his biceps and his hands on my waist.

I don't know for what reason but his touch sent little tickles running through my body.

He too seemed to be a bit intoxicated but had an interesting way of controlling himself.

Surprisingly, his eyes scanned me with flirtatious glances, but the mask hid the remaining part of his face. As my body got lost in his gaze, there were little flutters in my belly, like butterflies flying excitedly.

Yes, my underwear had become soaked with intense desire.

"I see the way you look at me. Can I call you angel?" He said, as he sipped a little from his glass of white wine.

I had become speechless and then he winked at me. In my tipsy state, I wriggled out of his grip and made my way upstairs to find the bathroom.

If I couldn't have him inside of me, then I needed to play with my vibrator. I stepped into the bathroom, turned my back and then I saw him. He was right behind ME! The hot stranger.

"Why did you run off like that, Angel? Don't you want me?" He said, squeezing my jaw.

I let out a soft smile, he understood the assignment. He knew the effect he already had on me.

I inched forward and planted a kiss on his thick lips. Like a wounded Tiger, he pulled me close to him aggressively.

He kissed and sucked on my lips. And then, he said, "Kneel for me, Angel."

I drew in my lips between my teeth and bit them seductively as I slowly went on my knees. I ran my hands softly on his trousers and what I felt was rock hard. I pulled down his zipper and took his rod in my mouth.

He pushed his head back, letting out a deep moan. Suddenly, he pulled me up and frantically pulled my clothes, at the same time, trying to be careful.

"Don't pull your mask off, Angel," He said sternly.

"Of course, stranger. I won't pull off my mask. I too don't want you to see me. However, this is the first and last time I am going to see you," My mind ran wild with thoughts.

I stood with only my panties on. Biting his lips, he knelt down before me and with his teeth, he pulled down my panty.

"You have a mini vibrator hiding in here, Angel," He said to me, when he saw the little vibrator I had placed carefully in my panty.

It was there for a specific purpose, to pleasure myself if I got the urge to fuck. The last thing I wanted was to cheat on George, my boyfriend, but who cares! This man was just too hot.

With his fingers, this hot stranger stroked me down there. Then he turned my back to get into the main purpose.

I woke up feeling very sore.

"I have a boyfriend but I haven't felt this way in ages. Now remembering the way that hot stranger took my body, I just don't know how to describe it, but it was heavenly." I spoke out unconsciously.

Oh! Shoot, I needed to be at the hospital right now. Just as I was dashing into the bathroom, my friend Briana called.

She was the only rich friend I had and her husband was the host of that masquerade party.

"Hi! Bestie," she screamed over the phone. Her shrill voice seemed to add to the already throbbing ache in my head.

"Briana, could you please not scream this way every time. I have a bad headache and I need to rush to see my mom," I said, my voice carrying a tired tone.

"Girl! I saw you with a very hot mister yesterday. Who is he? I know you are going to brush me off but please, give me some romantic storyline," My friend said, mimicking the voice of a little baby girl begging for candy.

"Haha, okay girl, I will give you the details but please I have to go see my mom. I stopped by your place on my way back. Is that okay," I asked, hoping she would let me go.

My tongue itched to tell her about the experience I had last night at her party but right now, my mom needs all the attention from me.

"Okay, I am expecting you. Don't bail on me." She warned in her playful baby tone.

***********************

Three weeks had passed and the memory of the night with the stranger had already become hazy.

I needed to be at work but my body had been acting all funny lately. I got tired very easily, the dizziness I felt was on a different level. On this particular morning, I had a migraine coupled with constant waves of nausea.

I felt my forehead and my temperature was really high but I needed to be at work. My boss was very aggressive and I needed to be in his good books. He had queried me alot of time because of lateness.

Apparently this was my last strike and I needed to hurry up. I dragged myself out of bed and brought out my clothes for work. In less than an hour I was set.

"Hi, friend," I flashed a smile at the receptionist.

"Hi Victoria, you look radiantly beautiful today," She complimented me heartily, even though I appeared in a brown straight gown that couldn't pop my skin colour

"Haha, does that mean I don't look beautiful every other day, Stacy?"

"No, that's not what I meant babes, you just look exceptionally beautiful today," She said, maintaining her stance.

"Okay girl, thank you and you don't look bad yourself but I need to work now. You know the boss, see you later,"

With a wave of my palm, I hurried off. I changed into my work clothes and prepared my work tools.

Just then, my phone rang. It was the boss.

"Meet me in my office, immediately." He said sternly and dropped the call.

My mind raced with thoughts of what I could have done this time,

"I know I didn't arrive late," The ache in my head felt like minions were on construction work there.

I stood up sharply from my bending position, my head spinned and my vision blurred. My body fell and immediately, everything went dark.

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband’s Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn’t find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn’t even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father’s legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn’s party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara’s health and managing every detail of Caden’s empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I’d drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause—if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I’d forgotten.

For two years, I was the invisible force behind tech billionaire Kieran Douglas, convinced that our "private" romance was his way of protecting us from the tabloid spotlight. I managed his mergers, warmed his bed, and waited for a future that didn't exist. The illusion shattered at 6:00 AM when a Page Six alert debuted Kieran’s "real" romance with socialite Aspen Schneider. Before I could even process the betrayal, Kieran sent me a cold, professional text: "Order flowers for Aspen. Pink peonies. Her favorite." When I tried to walk away, my own mother called me a disgrace and threatened to lock my inheritance forever unless I married a sixty-year-old businessman to save her failing estate. At a high-society gala that same night, Aspen intentionally crushed my burned hand in front of the cameras, while Kieran stood by and dismissed me as a "mediocre assistant" who had overstayed her welcome. I stood in the cold New York rain, drenched in champagne and humiliation, realizing that every sacrifice I made for Kieran was a joke. I was a ghost in a penthouse that was never mine, discarded the moment his "soulmate" returned. To the world, I was just a placeholder whose time had run out. But Kieran forgot one thing: my father’s multi-million dollar trust fund unlocks the moment I legally marry. I didn't need love; I needed a signature and a shield. I walked into a discreet law firm and signed a marriage contract with a man I believed was the city’s most notorious, scandal-ridden playboy. I thought I was marrying a degenerate "beard" to buy my freedom and secure my revenge. I didn't realize the man who signed that paper wasn't a playboy at all, but Gaston Collins—the most powerful and dangerous man on Wall Street—and he had no intention of letting our fake marriage stay fake.
