The Celebrity House Help Chapter 1 Gone

Bryan's POV

Another roll of tears went down my cheeks again, and I felt my heart pained so badly...

It was really terrible and shocking.

I had never believed it would turn this way,

How would she do that to me?

How would she leave me shattered after knowing how much I loved her, how much I really cherished her?

I am feeling so drained and have been in tears for several hours right here in my private room which I had made for myself and her alone. This is a place we both come to and spend time together singing.

Today, I am here alone because she has dumped me for another guy.

Right now, I am hating ladies and everything about them. This building is near the school and is restricted for anyone else to get in,

Since she left me, this is where I come to cry anytime I come to school and see her having a great time with Austin, her new boyfriend.

Do you know how it feels to be jilted by someone you loved so much, only for her to start up another relationship with a guy who is your rival in music?

You can't know how it pains because you may not have experienced it.

It is much more painful than anything you can think of...

Sophia had been my one and only girl since childhood and our life together had always been great and perfect,

She is a great singer like me, and we are both making waves. We have always been the talk of the town and a centre of attraction. Ladies wish and pray to be like her. Men who were her dying crush wish they were me.

We were like god to many due to our great voice and stunning beauty.

But.that night shattered everything..

It was a night I would never forget,

Just like every other day, I had decided to give Sophia a surprise visit.

Remembering that night makes my heart bleed every second.

I got to her house and was welcomed by the sound of moans and groans.

I crept into her room and, for the third time again, Sophia was having a hot round with Austin.

This is the third time I will be catching them in the act. I have always forgiven her whenever she asked for forgiveness each time I caught them.

I was really furious and screamed her name. I was ready to show my anger by shouting while she begged for forgiveness, not knowing I was in for the worst.

I really loved Sophia and was ready to forgive her again if she pleaded for forgiveness, but the unexpected happened.

She yelled at me and sent me out of her house. The next day, she sent me a breakup letter.

How can I bear this?

She is my first love and, to be sincere, I can't love any other lady if it's not her.

She is my match and I still love her so much.

I sniffed and walked over to my piano.

With a sorrowful heart, I started a song, a song of heartbreak, an emotional song that really made me break down in tears.

I don't want to believe she is gone for real, I need to go and beg her again.

Who knows if she may accept me back, she may accept me. I need her in my life. I don't mind pleading till dawn.

Singing with her on the stage is always the best thing that always happen to me,

Our voice is a real match for any song. We have always topped every other singer. How would I cope right now when she is gone?

I can't love any other lady, not even for a single minute of my life.

I stood up, and more tears rolled down,

I am the emotional type, so I feel hurt to even talk... I am going to beg her for forgiveness. I am going to plead for her to accept me back.

I did this some days ago and received painful words from her. She had called me many awful names which really shattered my heart.

I had told myself that I was not going to beg again, but right now I can't hold on anymore.

I need to go out there and plead again. She is the most important person in my life. I need her like I needed my breath.

I got out of the room after drying my eyes.

I pray she accepts me back because I may break down if she snubs me again.

My name is Bryan,

The name that is always on the lips of everyone, especially ladies both in school and in the town.

Yes..

I got millions of fans around the world, people who couldn't do without my songs,

I have already risen to fame at the age of 20. Right now, I am a billionaire on my own, and my parents are stinking rich.

Many people see me as a demi god or some kind of Greek god reincarnated because I was very handsome.

Ladies drool and faint in emotion whenever I pass by. They all wish and dream of me. Everyone wants to stare at my face. I was a calm and nice person some years ago, but at that moment, after Sophia had hurt me, I was very cold and wouldn't hesitate to frustrate the life of any lady who crossed my path and got to my nerves.

I really hate ladies now because they are heartbreakers. I want to frustrate their lives so badly.

I detest their sight and wouldn't have anything to do with them. I wish I could also hate Sophia this way.

Walking to my car, I felt a rush of anxiety in me,

What would Sophia really do when I came back begging, knowing I had seethed at her to go to hell the last time she ignored my plea?

I wish I could stay back and let her be, but it is very hard, impossible!!

I need her beside me,

I hate Austin so much for taking her away from me. Why??

I drove back to school feeling restless.

Finally, I reached, parked my car and walked out.

Omg!!!!

"Look at him!!"

"The Greek god!"

"So cute!"

"I love you!!"

"Please look at me!!"

"Are those his real eyes??"

"Geez!!"

My face was grim as I headed to class, ignoring the swoons and drools of the students. I could see their eyes wet as they daydreamed of having me.

Yuck!!

I got to class and an uproar occurred. The students, especially the ladies, kept murmuring with their gaze fixed on me.

Just as my gaze fell on Sophia and Austin, I felt my heart grow heavy.

My legs became weak, and I was really close to tears.

They were holding each other passionately.

"Sophia, can we talk?" I spoke out dryly, trying hard to hide my emotions.

Me and you??.. "I don't understand?" She gawped and I sighed.

Austin was also staring at me.

"Let's talk somewhere!!.." I blurted and grabbed her hand, leading her to the school garden where there were no or few people.

"Why are you doing this for real??" My voice cracked in emotion.

"Do what?" She asked with a sneer.

"What is my crime?..please tell me, and I'll kneel down and ask for forgiveness." I spoke out with wet eyes.

"Bryan, so you came begging again??" She laughed sarcastically.

I couldn't talk, my lips were just shaking.

"I never liked you. I was just playing with you. How could you even think I was in love? No. I am not, and you can't even be my boyfriend. Austin is better than you, so stop all this.you can join other students to crush me, stop acting like I am your girlfriend. "Everyone already knew we had broken up..." She smirked and left.

I felt empty, it was for real.

She is gone.

I stood in the darkest corner of the Pierre Hotel’s ballroom, my cheap polyester dress itching against my skin while my wristband buzzed with a DARPA Priority Red alert. In front of the city’s elite, my fiancé Bryce Calloway took the stage, not to toast our future, but to publicly end our engagement and announce he was with my sister, Chloe. The room turned on me instantly, a hundred pairs of eyes pinning me down with pity and disgust as they physically backed away like I was contagious. When I returned home, my mother shattered a crystal vase at my feet, screaming that I was a humiliation and a "dropout" who didn't deserve a cent of the family fortune. Chloe and Bryce mocked me, laughing when I told them I had a mission with the National Security Agency, convinced I was either a pathological liar or a low-level criminal. They watched in horror as a black, unmarked military helicopter descended on our backyard to extract me, yet they still chose to believe I was being arrested for drug trafficking. They saw a pathetic girl who couldn't even parallel park, never realizing I was Dr. Nova Vance, the lead physicist behind the world's first successful fusion reactor. To secure funding for my research and gain a "fortress" of a name, I signed a thirty-day marriage contract with the arrogant billionaire Roman Knight. He treats me like a fraud, convinced I’m a gold-digger who failed out of college, while I quietly run global energy simulations from his guest bedroom. He has no idea that the "loser" he’s forced to live with is the same anonymous grandmaster who has been ruthlessly crushing him in online strategy games for months. "The contract is active," I told him, looking past his expensive suit. "But don't expect me to be your maid."

I stood at my mother’s open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest’s voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone—he brought Charla with him. He claimed she’d had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband's Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn't find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn't even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father's legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn's party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara's health and managing every detail of Caden's empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I'd drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause-if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I'd forgotten.

The heavy thud of the release stamp was the only goodbye I got from the warden after five years in federal prison. I stepped out into the blinding sun, expecting the same flash of paparazzi bulbs that had seen me dragged away in handcuffs, but there was only a single black limousine idling on the shoulder of the road. Inside sat my mother and sister, clutching champagne and looking at my frayed coat with pure disgust. They didn't offer a welcome home; instead, they tossed a thick legal document onto the table and told me I was dead to the city. "Gavin and I are getting engaged," my sister Mia sneered, flicking a credit card at me like I was a stray dog. "He doesn't need a convict ex-fiancée hanging around." Even after I saved their lives from an armed kidnapping attempt by ramming the attackers off the road, they rewarded me by leaving me stranded in the dirt. When I finally ran into Gavin, the man who had framed me, he pinned me against a wall and threatened to send me back to a cell if I ever dared to show my face at their wedding. They had stolen my biotech research, ruined my name, and let me rot for half a decade while they lived off my brilliance. They thought they had broken me, leaving me with nothing but an expired chapstick and a few old photos in a plastic bag. What they didn't know was that I had spent those five years becoming "Dr. X," a shadow consultant with five hundred million dollars in crypto and a secret that would bring the city to its knees. I wasn't just a victim anymore; I was a weapon, and I was pregnant with the heir they thought they had erased. I walked into the Melton estate and made an offer to the most powerful man in New York. "I'll save your grandfather's life," I told Horatio Melton, staring him down. "But the price is your last name. I'm taking back what's mine, and I'm starting with the man who thinks he's marrying my sister."
