The Breakup
It was the eve of Christmas; 24th of December and the bustle of Christmas decorations were up and about in the city.
The Hopkins family were no exception; they were up and fully into decorations and preparations, almost as if they had caught a Christmas Fever.
“Here Sara, pin these jelly Christmas boots. I got them delivered from an online store this morning.” Trisha tossed a bag of jelly boots to her younger sister.
“I thought we agreed that we already have enough glitters and stuff for the tree.” She hung them.
“Yes, but Barak and I decided that they would hang lovely on the tree.”
Trisha wound her arms around her fiance's shoulder, pushing her body towards his and planting a kiss on his lips.
Barak's arms held on to Trisha's slim lower waist, and hugged her to himself affectionately.
“I think we make the best decisions, don't we TrishaRell?” Barak's voice was soft on Trisha's lower ear as he called her by the pet name he made for her.
She was getting turned on, but she was going to hold on a lot longer to grind him after Christmas Eve’s dinner.
“Okay, gather around kids.” Trisha's mother called to them.
“Let’s have this dinner then you can smooch all you want.” She chuckled.
They sat around the table and said a prayer to God for good life, happiness and Trisha's forthcoming wedding.
