Chasing Justice Chapter 1 Prologue:
"Why can't you just surrender yourself to us Grace?" I can hear the another woman ask my mom.
"Why would I do that Catalina? I'm just giving you a satisfaction in that way, right?" But my mom answer her questions with the another question.
The woman level my mom. " Why not like this, I gonna let you alive in exchange of the evidence. Hmmm... Why do you think?"
"I don't think so. You think I didn't know? Even I give you the evidence you still gonna kill me. "
As much as I can, I tried firmly to hide myself from them. I tried to hold my mouth and don't make any move and sound that can catch their attention. I'm sure my mom would not like that though, if they're going to caught me.
I just covered my ears. Refuse to listen on what they saying and what they doing now. I don't want to hear it. I don't want to see it.
I almost scream when someone slam the door where I used to hide. When I look at in the small hole, I can see my mom lying in floor with blood all over her body.
"Bakit mo pa ba pinapahirapan ang sarili mo?" But my mom didn't bother to answer her.
"Where..... Is..... It?" Every words that the woman split out, always make a thrill. Even my mind refuse to watch this kind of scenario. But my body continue seeing it. I can't refuse to watch.
"Even you.... kill me...right now, you.... can----'t ... even..... have-----it. Ne-----ver." Every words she say, she puke a blood from her mouth. She's almost dying.
I can feel the hardness of her to speak up. But still, she did it. Without uttering a word, a woman with her dangerous aura, finish the life of my mom without any regrets seen in her face.
"Search anything about the documents and any evidence she have. We need to take it from whoever have it now." She firmly command. The seriousness and thunder in her voice can make your shiver shake.
"One more thing, find her daughter. She might know where are those. " someone added sa inutusan niya.
They leave the room like there's nothing bad happen. Seems they are just playing around. Seems that they already used to do it.

Lumapit naman ako sa kaniya at niyakap siya sa bewang. "Huwag ka ng masyadong mag-alala sa'kin. Hindi naman ako mag-isa sa larong ito. May mga kasama ako." lambing ko sa kaniya. Lumambot naman ang expression niya dahilan para mapangiti ako.
