Wildest Dream Chapter 1 WD 1

Jasmine POV

I woke up happy because its school day again. My last year as a high school student. I study at One of the most famous schools here in America .

Because of our clothing business I was still able to study at a famous and well known school. I can not say that my family struggled too send me to such a famous school.

I was excited to come in this Monday. When I woke up, I went to my bathroom and take a bath myself in the bathroom immediately. And I finally put my uniform on. And I came down to eat breakfast before going to school.

I saw my mom eating with my only brother when I went downstairs.

When I got to our dining table, I greeted them.

"Good morning brother. - Good morning mommy. I satated.

"Hello, sweetheart." My mother said that. With smile in her lips widespread.

I also smile.

But my brother is cold, He said to me, "What's good in the morning," the evil of his greeting. He told me that.

So when I heard what he said, I lost my smile, because he ruined my good mood.

So I sat down to eat so I could go to school.

. My older brother and I both completed eating at the same time. That is why my mother told my brother to drive me to school because she uses my car, but he does not. I follow him up to our house's parking lot.

"I don't want to drive, so take me with you, brother. Mommy told you to take me with you. Because she'll be driving in my automobile." With a pitying effect on my eyes, I said.

And it worked because he consented...

We were only a few minutes away from being in front of the main school gate...

When I got out into the car and I spotted my best friend standing at the gate's entry, so I waved to him.

I rushed as quickly as I could go to my best fried.

"Hello, good morning, and have a wonderful Monday." I stated it with a smile on my face when I approach him.

"It's the same for you my best friend." Jordan McGraw remarked.

Jordan McGraw is the son of a well-known lawyer in this country.

He is the brightest student in our class. If he does not appear to be formed and is labeled as a nerd because he always wears an eyeglass, he is a nerd.

Jordan and I were overjoyed to enter the gate and immediately began discussing our summer vacation.

"Have you seen Tricia yet, Jordan?" I inquired as to whether we were in the school hallway.

"Perhaps not just yet. It's first day school maybe she's hasn't home already" He stated his case.

"Perhaps he hasn't returned from vacation yet." As I previously stated

"Jasmine, please. Let's take a look around the classroom." Jordan was a huge supporter of mine...

"All right, let's go." I stated it once again.

as we walked together to go our classroom...

We had just walked in the door and were instantly perplexed as to why our classroom was so silent.

Because they've set up a new trap for us...

When Jordan first opened the door, The door slammed shut behind us. From the top, a bucket of water. We couldn't speak straight immediately since we were dripping wet like chicks when we were surprised... Screaming in its purest form What we heard...so Jordan and I left and went to the washroom to change our clothing since we didn't want to argue on the first day of Scholl.

Jordan went to the boy restroom as I went to the girl restroom.

I heard someone talking in the next cubicle while I was getting dressed in my cubicle.

"Do you know Billy Johnson, the well-known adolescent Hollywood actor?"

"Why did you ask me that, who doesn't know a famous actor?"

"Because he is now promoting her new film... I'm excite. girl Let's go to the cinema today let's watch.

"Ok girl. Let's go."

And the laughter of two girls is deafening.

"It's quite irritating." As I changed my clothes, I merely whispered to myself.

I went out as soon as I finished changing my clothes, and Jordan emerged from the boy restroom just in time.

I dashed over to him.

"Jordan, let's go home; I don't want to be in the classroom any longer." I mentioned it in hushed tones.

"Let's still go in Jasmine and show them that simply because of what they did to us earlier, we'll never be able to return home." He takes a step back and raises his eyes.

"I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been your best friend. I smiled as I said, "You're so bold."

"What a stroke of luck!" You're implying that you've been unlucky. They don't bully you if we're not maybe best friends." He murmured this as he wrapped his arms around himself.

"Perhaps if we're not friends, you won't have to deal with our classmates' bullying." He stated his case.

" Hey, buddy, let's get this drama over with. I patted his shoulder once and giggled softly.

We both burst out laughing.

We didn't get into our first subject since we were talking in front of the restroom, and we took a long time. So we went directly to the canteen for a bite to eat.

While Jordan and I were queuing, someone unexpectedly entered us, and it was none other than Jordan's and her group of bullies. James Lawrence was their leader's .

James Lawrence is the son of the principal of this school. As a result, he was a fearless bully. In terms of appearance, he is attractive, cool, and a womanizer.

Luke Moore and Lance Moore were the names of his aides. They are identical twins. Likewise, the evil of their mindsets is multiplied.

When they entered the queue, we paid no attention to them. They remained unsatisfied.

Because James poured a can of soft drink on Jordan's head after they bought their food. As he poured Jordan a refreshing soft drink, when James continued to giggle.

I just suddenly, I punched him in the face as a result of my shock.

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.

My five-year-old daughter was dying in the ICU, her heartbeat replaced by the continuous, electronic scream of a flatline. I gripped her cold hand, my throat sealed shut by a terror so absolute I couldn't even cry out. I dialed my husband Grayson's private number, the one reserved only for me and his assistants. He declined the call instantly. A second later, a text buzzed against my palm: "In a meeting. Do not disturb. Stop calling." Five miles away, Grayson was at a luxury gala, adjusting his silk tie and laughing with Belle Escobar. He told her I was just being "dramatic" and using our daughter's "fever" as an excuse to avoid the event. He had no idea Effie's heart had already stopped. When I finally reached our penthouse, soaked from the rain and carrying Effie's small socks in a plastic bag, Grayson didn't even look at me. He snapped at me for ruining the hardwood floors and asked if I'd left Effie with the nanny just to "feel sorry for myself." Three days later, while I buried our daughter in a small, lonely ceremony, Grayson was at the Hamptons. Belle posted a photo of him golfing with the caption: "A mental health day with the boys." He didn't even attend the funeral, but he returned home demanding I clear out Effie's room to make a study for Belle's son. The injustice burned through me until there was nothing left. I swallowed a handful of sleeping pills, desperate to join my daughter. But instead of the darkness, I woke up to blinding lights and the scent of Grayson's expensive cologne. I was standing in a ballroom, wearing a blue silk dress I had already burned. Above me, a banner read: "Happy 5th Birthday Kaiden & Effie." I was back, exactly one year before the tragedy. This time, I wasn't going to be the grieving wife. I was going to be their worst nightmare.

I was the titan of Wall Street until an indictment and an ankle monitor turned my penthouse into a gilded cage. To save face, I was forced into a marriage with Elza, a "mute" girl from the Schmidt family whom I treated as nothing more than a silent piece of furniture while my empire crumbled. The night I was poisoned at a high-society gala, a mysterious server in an oversized uniform saved my life with terrifying, clinical precision. They disappeared into the night, leaving me with a silver cufflink and a burning obsession to find the shadow who held my life in their hands. Back home, I took my frustration out on Elza, telling her she was "exhausting to look at" and "smelled like sickness" after her charity visits. Her own family treated her like a stray dog, trying to humiliate her at the next gala by dressing her in what they claimed was a cheap knockoff while whispering to the press that she was nothing but a high-end escort. "Stay out of my way," I would growl at her, never noticing the steel in her eyes. I sat at my table, watching my rivals' stocks plummet and wondering who "The Zero"—the legendary financial ghost—really was. I never suspected that the woman I ignored was the same one solving the equations that were currently burning Manhattan to the ground. The injustice peaked when Elza stood before the city's elite, not as a victim, but as a queen. She dropped over a hundred million dollars to buy back her family’s legacy, revealing a secret fortune that made my own empire look like pocket change. As I grabbed her wrist and saw the small red mole hidden beneath her watch, the truth hit me like a physical blow. The silent wife I had despised was the savior I had been hunting, and she was finally done playing the victim. "We have a lot to talk about, wife," I whispered, realizing I had been sleeping next to the most dangerous woman in the world.

I went to the City Clerk’s office for a routine copy of my marriage license to finalize a trust fund audit. I expected a simple piece of paper, but the clerk’s pitying look told me my entire life was a lie. "The license was never finalized, Ms. Oliver. In the eyes of the state, you are single." The three-hundred-guest wedding at the Plaza and the Vogue features meant nothing. My husband, Gray Cooley, had intentionally filed the documents with a "procedural defect" so he could discard me without a legal divorce. Moments later, an iCloud invite titled "Our Little Secret" popped up on my screen. It was a photo of my best friend, Brylee, holding a positive pregnancy test at our Hamptons estate. Gray’s text to her was the final blow: "Happy anniversary, babe. This baby is the best gift. Once the trust unlocks today, we’re done with the charade." I soon discovered they were even stealing my career, reassigning my architectural masterpiece to Brylee while preparing my eviction notice. Gray's mother called me a "barren mule" in a leaked recording, mocking the infertility I suffered after saving Gray’s life in a construction accident. I wasn't a wife; I was a three-year placeholder used to secure his inheritance. How could the man I bled for treat me like a disposable prop? How could my best friend carry his child while pretending to comfort me through my darkest moments? The betrayal burned until it turned into a cold, hard stone of fury. I didn't cry. Instead, I walked into the penthouse of the Barretts, the Cooleys' most powerful rivals. I signed a marriage contract with Kane Barrett, the man the tabloids called the "Beast of Wall Street." "I want a wedding," I told his father, my voice steady and lethal. "Bigger than the one I had with Gray." If they wanted me gone, they would have to watch me become the woman who owns their world.
