My Ex-husband Crazy For My Love Chapter 1 Divorced

In Binfield.

On the dance floor, men and women danced and swayed with wild abandon under the colorful flashing lights.

Michelle Greenwood made her way through the crowd. She wore a black lace backless dress, showing off her fair skin. The dress was so short that it barely covered her buttocks.

In a word, she was hot. She had nice, long legs and curves in all the right places, with full breasts and a slim waist.

As expected, as soon as she stepped into the bar, several men came up to her like hungry wolves, trying to strike up a conversation. Michelle refused them all politely with a dazzling smile.

Finally, Michelle saw the room she had been looking for. When she pushed the door open, she was met with deafening music inside.

Dozens of bottles of beer, wine, and champagne were scattered on the table.

"Michelle! You're late!" Nina Kim said. Her arm was draped over her best friend, Myles Larson's shoulder. They both looked a little drunk.

"Look! The star of the party is finally here! We're celebrating your return to being single. We've already drunk a couple of rounds. Come on, as the late comer, you have to drink a bottle of wine as punishment!" Myles broke free from Nina's grip. He grabbed a bottle of red wine from the table and came over.

He was right. Michelle had just signed the divorce agreement today.

Without saying a word, Michelle took the bottle and gulped down its contents.

She had been stuck in a traffic jam for two hours before she got here. She was so parched that her mouth had gone dry.

"Good job!" Nina gave her a thumbs up. "Divorce has made you stronger!"

"It's boring to just drink. Let's play a game!" someone suggested.

"Good idea!" Nina giggled. She liked to have fun.

"Throw the dice. The loser has to walk out and ask the first man he or she meets for a belt. Oh, and ask him about the color of his underwear."

This was too exciting! Everyone agreed to the rules readily. The atmosphere was lively and everyone held their breaths in anticipation as each person took a turn in rolling the dice.

Tonight, luck was not on the divorced woman's side.

Sure enough, Michelle lost the game.

She picked up a glass of wine from the table and downed it in one gulp. Then she got up and slowly walked towards the door.

Just then, a tall, handsome man happened to walk past the door.

He was wearing a black shirt with the top two buttons unfastened, exposing his defined collarbone. The hem of the shirt was tucked into his slacks, outlining the man's trim waist.

In a place like this, this man was probably... A gigolo?

"Oh, my God! He's gorgeous! I'm so jealous, Michelle! He's so handsome, I can't believe he's a real man!" Nina's face flushed with excitement, her eyes glued to the mysterious man.

Michelle took a deep breath and thought, 'Good thing my target's a gigolo. I can just solve this with money."

She approached the man furtively and tapped him on the shoulder. "Excuse me, sir!"

The man turned around and his eyes met Michelle's. She nearly gasped. He was even more handsome than she had expected.

But at the same time, she felt that he looked familiar. Could she have met him before?

Alcohol made Michelle bolder than usual. She shrugged off her inhibitions and swallowed hard.

"Sir, I... I lost a game. Can you give me... your belt? Don't worry! I'll give you a big tip for it!" As Michelle spoke, she took out a few notes from her bag and stuffed them into the man's collar.

"Tip?" Gerard Roberts asked, his lips curving up in a charming smile.

Instantly, Michelle felt goose bumps all over her body.

"Yes. Take it. I know your job isn't easy. Oh, also, I need to know... Uhm. What color is your underpants?" Michelle asked while patting the man on the butt.

The man's beautiful eyes glowed playfully. He looked at her up and down, his eyes so sharp that they seemed to pierce through her clothes.

Gerard took a good look at Michelle. She had a smooth oval face and dainty features. Her bright eyes sparkled with energy. Any man who saw her pink lips would want a taste of them.

"This question..." With one hand on the wall, Gerard leaned against the door frame and squinted at her evilly. He raised her chin with his long finger and said with a devilish smile, "You are welcome to find the answer for yourself."

Michelle was startled by the man's behavior. She took a step back, slipped, and almost sprained her ankle.

Fortunately, a strong arm caught her.

"There's no need to rush." A deep, masculine voice sounded in her ears.

Before Michelle could figure out what was going on, she felt something warm pressed against her waist. It turned out that he had placed his big hand on her. He cupped her chin and forced her to face him.

Her heart skipped a beat when her eyes met his. In the blink of an eye, his lips were pressed against hers.

Michelle thought the kiss would be gentle. At least it was when he initiated it. Then it changed.

It was like a chemical reaction.

He kissed her passionately and crazily, as if he was trying to devour her.

The tip of his tongue pushed past her lips and danced with her tongue, stroking it and sucking greedily.

This man was surprisingly good at kissing. Michelle, on the other hand, didn't have much experience. In addition, she was drunk, so she was unable to resist him. After a while, her legs became weak and were about to buckle from underneath her.

Standing nearby, Damien Mason, Gerard's assistant, was shocked by this scene.

Was... Was he seeing things?

How could this woman look just like...

Before Damien could complete the thought, Gerard's voice interrupted him. "Bring the car over."

Damien came back to his senses and nodded. He didn't dare to dillydally and scurried off quickly.

I went to the City Clerk’s office for a routine copy of my marriage license to finalize a trust fund audit. I expected a simple piece of paper, but the clerk’s pitying look told me my entire life was a lie. "The license was never finalized, Ms. Oliver. In the eyes of the state, you are single." The three-hundred-guest wedding at the Plaza and the Vogue features meant nothing. My husband, Gray Cooley, had intentionally filed the documents with a "procedural defect" so he could discard me without a legal divorce. Moments later, an iCloud invite titled "Our Little Secret" popped up on my screen. It was a photo of my best friend, Brylee, holding a positive pregnancy test at our Hamptons estate. Gray’s text to her was the final blow: "Happy anniversary, babe. This baby is the best gift. Once the trust unlocks today, we’re done with the charade." I soon discovered they were even stealing my career, reassigning my architectural masterpiece to Brylee while preparing my eviction notice. Gray's mother called me a "barren mule" in a leaked recording, mocking the infertility I suffered after saving Gray’s life in a construction accident. I wasn't a wife; I was a three-year placeholder used to secure his inheritance. How could the man I bled for treat me like a disposable prop? How could my best friend carry his child while pretending to comfort me through my darkest moments? The betrayal burned until it turned into a cold, hard stone of fury. I didn't cry. Instead, I walked into the penthouse of the Barretts, the Cooleys' most powerful rivals. I signed a marriage contract with Kane Barrett, the man the tabloids called the "Beast of Wall Street." "I want a wedding," I told his father, my voice steady and lethal. "Bigger than the one I had with Gray." If they wanted me gone, they would have to watch me become the woman who owns their world.

I stood at my mother's open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest's voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone-he brought Charla with him. He claimed she'd had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.
