During his life, Martin promised to hate a woman named Edrea, because the woman had embarrassed his family in front of a distinguished guest right on their wedding day. And when there is a chance to meet again, Martin takes revenge, he makes an Edrea feel what he once felt without intending to find out the reason behind why she couldn't attend her own wedding. Because according to him, what Edrea did was clear if the woman only intended to play with him, so there no word apology for an Edrea. Because of the disappointment he felt, he had to respond with a sense of destruction so that Edrea realized who the woman was playing with. Although in the end, it brought him to an increasingly sad reality. "Want to kill me, right?" said someone, even occasionally trying to smile briefly. "So, just do it! In the slightest, I won't try to counterattack or dodge, because only death can repay your pain." someone said to reassure the person without the slightest hesitation.
Today is the day the couple has been waiting for. They planned everything together to make it a dream wedding together and looks like now... The large courtyard has been decorated with the concept of an outdoor wedding that the bride and groom-to-be want. The beautiful flowers have been arranged so neatly on every chair and table of the guests who have been present.
Distinguished guests have arrived to witness the wedding of the first son of the couple Alvaro and Lyeze. All the guests feel happy because they are soon to witness their dream wedding. The groom looks so handsome in his suit, the man looks ready to become a husband.
But when the wedding ceremony was about to start, the bride never came, making the groom feel worried. "Why hasn't my future wife arrived yet, Mom?" he asked curiously, even though it should have been a few hours before the event started, the woman's family and the bride-to-be had arrived at the event.
"Maybe they'll be here soon," his father replied soothingly to their son.
The groom sighed in worry. "Can you get someone to pick up or just make sure my future wife and his family can get arrived quickly?" he said giving a suggestion to the woman who gave birth to him.
"Mommy has already ordered someone to confirm their whereabouts, but Mommy also wonders why they didn't arrive," his mother explained sure.
The man was Martin Wahana Ankara, he shook his head because couldn't calm down before his future wife came, especially since all the guests were already present to witness the wedding. His eyes always pay attention to all directions, because maybe his future wife intends to give him a gift. However, after 30 minutes of waiting, the whereabouts of the woman and his future family were nowhere to be seen.
"Where's the bride-to-be, Martin? Can we start right away?!" asked the Pastor to be sure.
Martin cursed annoyed because felt the priest couldn't wait any longer. "Could you wait a little longer? Looks like my wife got stuck on the road," said Martin, trying to explain.
The priest nodded, while all the guests who had been present were quietly discussing the wedding ceremony. Because it should have been, the wedding vows were taken earlier, but it kept getting postponed because the bride didn't come, making all the guests who were present feel bored and curious. Although should be, before all the guests were present, the bride and groom were already at the predetermined location.
"Daddy... Please confirm the whereabouts of my future wife!" Martin told his father pleadingly.
"Everything has been done to ensure the whereabouts of your future wife and his family, it's just Daddy is also confused about how they didn't come," said the 60-year-old man reassuring his son.
Martin sighed while rubbing his face. Can't think positively anymore, let alone see guests who seem annoyed because the event didn't run on time.
"Because the bride didn't come, I decided today's wedding was canceled," said the Pastor, telling all the guests who were present.
Martin wore a pleading expression while staring at the Pastor for ask a chance. "Pastor... Please don't cancel, because I'm sure my future wife will come soon!" he said looking at the Pastor with a pitiful tone.
The Pastor shook his head, he also felt sad if today's wedding was canceled unilaterally. But it had been several hours, the bride and his family had not arrived, and according to him, there was nothing more to expect from today's wedding ceremony. The wedding, which was originally expected to go as planned, ended in disappointment because the bride and his family did not attend.
"Today's wedding is officially annulled!" said the Pastor again repeating his words with certainty.
All the guests immediately cheered disappointed because they felt like they had been cheated by today's wedding ceremony. Whereas the one planning a wedding comes from a famous family, how could it not go according to plan? The wedding ceremony seemed to be underestimated by both the bride and groom because they dared to play with something sacred.
"I feel sorry for the groom, how can his wife-to-be not be present at his wedding?!"
"I've taken the time to come, but it turned out to be in vain,"
"A marriage that should have a happy ending ended sadly with the feeling of having to bear the shame of the bride, the groom's fate was unfortunate,"
Martin rubbed his face in frustration, especially when heard all the guests present talking about him and his family. It had never crossed his mind that it would end as sad as it is now, and have to endure the shame of the wedding being canceled because the bride chose not to attend.
Whereas previously there were no problems in their relationship, but how could the woman he loved so bear to embarrass himself and his family in front of so many guests? Does that woman have no feelings so that she dares to play with her pride?
BRAK!!!
BRAK!!!
Martin destroyed all the decorations with feelings of pain and hurt, the decorations that had originally been arranged so neatly now turned into shattered pieces that scattered on the floor. Everyone kept watching him, and he didn't care about any of that. Because he just needed something to vent his emotions, anger, and disappointment over the wedding which had to be canceled because the bride didn't come.
BRAK!!!
Martin kicked everything in front of him so things were now so messy.
"Martin!" shouted Alvaro in surprise when he saw his son like a devil, especially as a parent, he felt sad when he saw his son's condition was already chaotic. "We're going bedroom now!" he told slowly.
Because as parents, they also feel sad to see their son's condition. There is nothing they can do now as parents other than providing support to their son. They had to calm their son down so wouldn't act stupid and harm himself and others. That's more important than fixing the marriage.
Arriving in his son's private bedroom, as a father still trying to calm his son. When his son seemed to have calmed down a bit, he looked at his son to reassure him that all would be well. Even if this day ends sadly. And after his father came out of the bedroom, Martin was taking off his suit, his cell phone rang causing him to pick up the call.
"Who are you?"
"Hi, Martin? What's up? It's me Edrea, I called you using someone else's number just to let you know that today, my family and I purposely didn't attend our wedding,"
Martin widened his eyes when he heard a very familiar voice. "What the fuck are you doing now, Edrea? You embarrassed me and my family!" he told shakingly.
"I know, Martin, and I don't fucking care about that! One thing you should know, because after this I will not contact you again," replied Edrea convincingly. "I had to agree to marriage just to please you, and everything that happened today I had prepared for a long time. The reason that strengthens me for not continuing with today's marriage is, because I just want to use your feelings for revenge so that you feel what I once felt." she explained without feeling guilty.
"So, good bye, Martin Wahana Ankara!"
The call ended, even before Martin got that answer.
"I swear in the name of God I will destroy you, Edrea Elaina Cashel!" Martin shouted, grinning while staring himself in the mirror.
After that, he rubbed his face roughly so as not to look pathetic. Because starting today, he should be able to come up with a plan so that everything goes the way he wants.
