An innocent eighteen years old Omega called Ninola Adolf is adopted by the Sunshine Pack after being abused by her parents for not being an Alpha, she had lived the best moments of her life with her new family until she came across her best friend's brother named, Tyler, the arrogant high school student from the Storm Pack, realizing he was her mate, shook the hell out of her world and made her heart sank.
I walked along the hallway admiring the trees nearby, it was pretty beautiful and it was like, the most amazing thing I have ever seen, that's why I love this school, really satisfying.
I'm hungry.
I heard my wolf's voice. "Keep it down, Wolfie, you are not hungry, I am," I said out loud, heading to the library and ignoring my growling stomach.
Yeah, yeah, you are so hungry, even your stomach is more honest than you.
I excluded her, she tends to be looking for trouble when she needs one.
I want some streak when you are done with reading your books all day.
I rolled my eyes, sensing the boring tone from her. "That will be after school." I firmly said, I'm not going to give her anything until I'm done, I might as well starve myself too, if I want to punish her.
I know that, Ninola.
She seemed annoyed for some reason, I just can't get my hands on it.
"Ninola, Wait up,' I turned back to see my best friend running towards me, she reached me and put her arm across my shoulder as I walked alongside her with books in my hands, I could only sigh as she panted.
Akema is virtually the same age as me.
Here she comes again.
I rolled my eyes and continued walking, without even taking a look at her, even though she was holding me.
"What's up, where are you heading to,'' she said. I simply shook my head at the idea of what's going to talk about.
"To the classroom Akema." I was stressed.
"Again, aren't you tired of going there, I don't want to go for that stupid lesson."
'Suit yourself and I don't have time to hang out, leave me alone, Akema.' I muttered. I know what she wanted to do, but I can take a hint about what she's thinking about.
Dress up in makeup, blab about the latest lipstick and the latest skirt that just came out. How she was going to be more beautiful than the popular girl in school and attract guys and then, drag me to the store to help her choose the clothes which are going to be good on her and I just end up choosing a jacket, plain trousers, me, with no taste of fashion.
My gosh, I love my sweet life, no stress whatsoever, really the best.
She then gets annoyed and pushes me out of the dressing room and tells me to stay outside because I am as boring as fuck.
And I am not in the mood to hear such conversations, you can call me some lazy ass, I don't care.
Putting on jeans and just a plain shirt is okay for me, no big deal as long as my hair is tied.
'`Let me guess, you want to go read in the damn library, huh!' She frowned. "Just admit it, you want to go there, not the classroom."
She caught me.
"I'm as tired as fuck, Akema. The only thing that relaxes me is books, including novels of course,' I sighed.
"Since when did you start using the curse word, I thought you hated it." She scoffed.
"I hated it but you taught me.' I grinned.
"Me?' She pointed at herself.
"Yes,' I nodded. "Who else is here apart from you."
"Can we go somewhere else?' She whined. "I don't want to go to the library.'
"Nope!" I shook my head.
"The library is so boring, what do you get from these books, reading all day? If I were in your position, I would be super bored to death and even sleep off at the library, imagining not talking to anyone, just staying in one place, so quiet and gloomy is gonna be my early grave." She grumbled.
"But you have your phone that grabs your attention, you could chat up some guys on Instagram or whatever social media you are into,' I joked.
"To keep me company."
"Yes, since you don't like to read." I winked.
"Whatever?' She kept rolling his eyes, which made me laugh.
I teased. "Come on, no need to feel sad, lighten up, you might come across your crush there."
"Stop playing with me, my crush despises books too.'
"Woah, so you know what he likes and what he doesn't, that's so interesting Akema"
"Stop looking at me.' She whined as I burst into laughter.
We arrived at the library and went inside, where I went to where my favorite books are and picked one off the shelf, as well as looked at the Blurb. I'm just curious about what kind of book this is. I'm hoping it's not a cliche novel. I despise books that write nearly the same story all the time; do they not have any other ideas, or have they run out of ideas for what to write? Romance this, romance that, all the time about a guy or a wealthy, billionaire, millionaire abandoning his girlfriend, only to return a few years later and discover he had a baby and tried to fight for the baby, only to end up falling in love with the girl and marrying happily ever after. On the other hand, werewolves have the same story too, reject this, rejected that, the mate runs away after getting rejected and returns a few years later as the heroine to claim her Alpha or the Alpha bullies her, she hates him, endures the maltreatment, then falls in love with the idiot after what she went through.
Fuck, who loves like that, they must be crazy and delusional.
Wow!
As if that were the case in real life. Divorce is common in real life, and people rarely fall in love these days. At least, that's what I imagined. I kept looking at the book, but I didn't like the blurb, so I put it down and moved on to the next one.
Cliche! Cliche! Cliche!
Damn, it's all over the place, so annoying.
"Hey, girl. Don't you get tired of reading these romance novels?' She complained.
"I love Romance, werewolf books..."
"You are a wolf, what's the difference between the life you live now and the books.'
"I don't care, I still love them but only the super, rare, and exciting ones. I wish Blake was here to see this," I replied, to which she rolled her eyes and began picking up any book she saw on the shelf, opening it, and putting it back. "This is so boring. How do girls even read this? I need to sleep; just turning the pages of this book makes me dizzy. This is why I despise the Library, full of books,' she remarked sarcastically.
