" I don't think I can eat this, the aroma alone is choking me" Henry groused.

" stop grumbling because you made the order and I did my job by serving you, so eat up before I loose my cool" Mandy warned.

" you don't speak to me like that, I'll pay for the meal, just take it away" Henry said standing up but Mandy pulled him back on the chair.

" what's the meaning of this?" He glared.

" you're about wasting the food and I detest it when people waste things" Mandy retorted.

" if you wanna eat it, you can go ahead, I'll still foot the bill" Henry said bringing out his card.

" do I look like a hungry bird?" Mandy asked.

" there's no use bickering with you, it's obvious you have a mental problem" Henry cussed standing up again.

" I'm going to show you what it means to be sick in the brain" Mandy ranted carrying the plate and she poured the whole food on his suit.

" Hey!!!" Henry yelled raising his hand to hit her but he stopped himself, while Mandy closed her eyes frightenedly.

* What the heck?*

* She just embarrassed Mr Tyson's Manager*

* She won't be spared* the customers in the restaurant murmured.

Mandy opened her eyes slowly and she saw Henry glaring at her.

' Oh my gosh! I just escaped being slapped' she thought blinking her eyes like a doll.

like flash the entrance door flung opened and some men on black suits rushed in, obviously they are guards.

'are they here for me?' Mandy thought fearfully and when she noticed they are are approaching her, she ran away for her dear life.

" after her" The Chief guard ordered.

" stop!" Henry commanded and the guards obeyed. He turned and stormed out of the restaurant. the guards followed.

* he spared her*

* She better thank her stars*

* I wonder where she got the guts from, pouring food on Mr Tyson's Manager* The customers baffled.

Mandy got to the changing room, breathing fast.

" Gosh! My stubbornness is going to land me in a big trouble some day" she soliloquize.

" Mandy!" Mrs Smith the owner of the restaurant barge into the room looking enraged.

" You don't barge into the changing room like that, were you no taught in your elementary school days to knock before entering rooms , What if I was unclothed?" Mandy asked childishly.

" just shut the trash! and I'd have tear you skin if you were unclothed" Mrs Smith rasped.

" now I know you don't like me" she pouted pretending to be heartbroken.

" enough of your dramas and tell me what was the meaning of the stunt you pulled out there?" Mrs Smith ranted and Mandy stared at her perplexedly

" don't give me that look and answer my question" she yelled.

" it wasn't intentional, the devil used me" Mandy defended.

" do you even know him?" Mrs Smith asked and Mandy shook her head.

" he is Henry Brown, Mr Tyson's Manager. Now you know just imagine your fate, if he comes back for revenge" Mrs Smith scoffed l

and Mandy eyes widened in shock

" I said it, my stubbornness is going to land me in a big trouble someday but II never expected it to be today" Mandy lamented.

" good for you and you better leave my restaurant right this minute, or else there would be fire on the mountain" Mrs Smith threatened.

" are you firing me, like for real?" Mandy asked and Mrs Smith glare at her before walking out of the room.

" I'm doomed, What will I tell Mom, on my first day of work, I got fired. Argh! she won't spare me" she groaned stomping her feet on the floor.

" before I go I must take my salary eventhough it's day one and if she refuse paying me, I'll set this restaurant ablaze" she grinned changing from her uniform to the clothes she came earlier with .

*The kitchen*

" what are you doing here? I remembered firing you" Mrs Smith attacked i'mmediately Mandy entered the kitchen.

" chill Mrs Smith, I've a retentive memory so I remembered you fired me" Mandy soothed.

" Then what are you doing here?" the assistant Cook interfered and Mandy glare at her.

" you better mind your business before I rip you off your teeth" Mandy threatened before facing Mrs Smith again.

" I'm here to take my salary" Mandy spilled.

" which salary?" Mrs smith and the assistant Cook asked simultaneously.

" I know this is my first day, but you have to pay me because I served two customers before that asshole" Mandy replied and Mrs Smith laughed.

" you better get out of here this minute if you don't wanna go home in a wheel chair" Mrs smith glared.

" no I won't, and if you don't pay me this minute, I will set this restaurant ablaze, take it as a joke if you like and watch as your restaurant turns to ashes" Mandy said picking a lighter from the counter and a gallon of kerosine from under the cupboard.

" Mandy!!" The assistant Cook screamed.

" Mandy wait, we can settle this amicably" Mrs Smith soothed.

" are you paying me or not?" Mandy asked.

" I'll pay you but first drop the kerosine and lighter" Mrs Smith said and Mandy dropped them.

" now pay me" she demanded stretching forth her hands.

Mrs Smith opened her purse and gave her 200won

" it's not enough but I'll manage it" Mandy shrugged keeping the money in her pocket before she left the kitchen.

On her way home, she stopped by at a candy shop.

" I want candies" she demanded.

" how many" the attendant asked.

" five for 200won right? Give me five" she replied.

After buying the candies, she continue her journey thinking of a good lie to tell her mom but no idea is coming.

" dang it! I can't go home without a well structure and packaged lie or Mom will shove my neck off my body" she murmured unwrapping the Candy.

" I'll stop by at Charlotte's working place and take a nap"

Tyson's conglomerate

Henry entered his office, neatly dressed in another suit.

He sat down on his chair and the thought of what happened in the restaurant earlier came to his mind

" that brat! I feel like squeezing her tiny soul" he mumbled and his phone buzzed ' a text message from Mr Tyson.'

* Come to my office, we have something to discuss*

* I'll be there in less than five minutes* he sent before leaving his office

Tyson's office*

Henry entered the office and he saw Mr Tyson sitting on his rocking chair.

" Good day sir!" He bowed and Mr Tyson respond with a nod.

" I need you to look for a maid who can handle my sons" Mr Tyson informed.

" are they coming to Korea?" Henry asked and Mr Tyson nod.

" they will be back on Friday that's why you need to look for a maid before then, not just a maid but a girl who can handle them" Mr Tyson said.

" okay sir" Henry bowed before leaving the office.

" is he for real now? how did he expect me to get a maid for those jerks? Most especially Rex, that cold hearted jerk, No! not Rex, let's talk of Ryan that playboy, he's going to frustrate the maid to death.

I'm not sure anyone can handle those two and as for Rick, the last time I saw him he was a good and caring dude, who knows if he has changed over time? It has been three years now since I last saw them.

Aish! I just have to start searching, Friday is in four days time" Henry groaned ruffling his hair.

I was at my own engagement party at the Sterling estate when the world started tilting. Victoria Sterling, my future mother-in-law, smiled coldly as she watched me struggle with a cup of tea that had been drugged to ruin me. Before I could find my fiancé, Ryan, a waiter dragged me into the forbidden West Wing and locked me in a room with Julian Sterling, the family’s "fallen titan" who had been confined to a wheelchair for years. The door burst open to a frenzy of camera flashes and theatrical screams. Victoria framed me as a seductress caught in the act, and Ryan didn't even try to listen to my pleas, calling me "cheap leftovers" before walking away with his pregnant mistress. When I turned to my own family for help, my father signed a document severing our relationship for a five-million-dollar payout from Julian. They traded me like a commodity without a second thought. I didn't understand why my own parents were so eager to sell me, or how Ryan could look at me with such disgust after promising me forever. I was a sacrifice, a pawn used to protect the family's offshore accounts, and I couldn't fathom how every person I loved had a price tag for my destruction. With nowhere left to go, I married Julian in a bleak ceremony at City Hall. He slid a heavy diamond onto my finger and whispered, "We have a war to start." That night, inside his secret penthouse, I watched the paralyzed man stand up from his wheelchair and activate a screen filled with the Sterling family's darkest secrets. The execution had officially begun.

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband’s Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn’t find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn’t even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father’s legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn’s party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara’s health and managing every detail of Caden’s empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I’d drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause—if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I’d forgotten.
