Mr. Billionaire's Life Chapter 1 Cheating Girlfriend

"I'm going to kill you, Perry!" Randall Carter roared and charged forward. With a creaking sound, he suddenly sat up.

His eyes peeled open and fell on an infusion bottle that had broken to pieces on the floor.

Randall found himself sitting on a bed.

"Is this a ward?"

Randall habitually raised his right hand to wipe the cold sweat off his forehead.

A tearing pain shot from his palm to his shoulder, making him cry out and tremble over.

When he saw the gauze on his right hand, memories flooded his mind.

Yesterday, Randall had gone to the bar with his girlfriend, Tonya Burton, to celebrate securing an internship position in Brooker Infirmary.

On the way out, they bumped into Perry Shaw, who was already drunk.

Perry was a popular trust-fund baby in their school. He was fond of making trouble just because he had money and power.

When he set eyes on Tonya, Perry began to flirt with her and touched her inappropriately.

Randall flipped out when he saw this. He punched Perry in the face.

In a fit of pique, Perry took out his knife from his pocket and brandished it fiercely. He managed to drive the knife into Randall's right hand during the scuffle.

Randall remembered seeing blood gush out before everything went black. Now, he woke up in a ward.

"Where is Tonya? Is she okay?"

Despite his injury, Randall was still worried about his girlfriend.

Randall's parents had gone missing three years ago. He didn't have anyone to fund his education, so he worked many part-time jobs and took student loans.

He was still in his freshman year when he met Tonya. It was love at first sight for him. She was so beautiful and friendly. Since then, she had been by his side.

The two of them had plans to get married after graduation.

Randall was thinking of Tonya's beautiful face when a figure suddenly ran past the door.

It was his girlfriend, Tonya.

Why was she in such a hurry? Did Perry try to mess with her again? Was she in danger?

Randall immediately grew worried. He quickly pulled out the cannula from his right arm, causing a little blood to seep out.

He walked out of the ward barefoot, dragging his weak body with all the strength he could muster.

The corridor was surprisingly empty at this time.

Randall supported himself with the wall as he went in the direction that Tonya ran.

There was a VIP ward at the end of the corridor.

At this time, the door was ajar. Voices came from inside.

The voices sounded so familiar. Randall didn't want to pry, but he couldn't help approaching the door.

"Are you feeling better, Perry? I cooked soup for you. Please have some."

"You are so considerate, Tonya. This card is loaded with one hundred thousand dollars. You can buy a new Louis Vuitton bag with it."

The girl's voice sounded so familiar. And her name was Tonya, too.

"No, it can't be her. It's probably someone who has the same name. My Tonya would never do this to me. I got hurt because of her. Why would she be with Perry of all people?"

Randall shook his head vigorously. He found it hard to believe that Tonya was with Perry.

But what he heard the next second threw him off balance. There was no denying the identities of those people in this ward.

"Perry, you are so kind to me. I'm yet to finish spending the five hundred thousand dollars you gave me yesterday. I can't believe I wasted three years of my life with Randall. He never gave me a gift worth more than ten thousand dollars."

The girl's voice was gentle, but there was an undisguised contempt in it. It sounded as if Randall was a beggar who didn't deserve her.

"Tonya, you bitch!" Randall roared and kicked the door open.

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.

The Discarded Heiress: Marrying My Lethal Husband

The rain in Detroit was slick with grime when my family finally came to fetch me. They didn't want a reunion; they wanted a sacrificial lamb to marry into the Kaufman empire to save their failing business. I thought I was just being sold off, but the limo ride ended under a dark overpass where six hired thugs were waiting with chains. My own sister had ordered them to "break my spirit" so I’d be a shaking, pathetic mess by the time I reached the altar. They called me "Detroit trash" and sprayed air freshener when I sat on their leather seats. My stepmother wanted a video of me begging for my life, and my father was ready to trade me like a used car to a man everyone called a "vegetable." They expected a submissive country girl, unaware that I was a high-level "cleaner" who could snap a radius bone before they could even scream. When I finally reached the Kaufman estate, I found my fiancé, Barron, slumped in a wheelchair, drooling and silent. But as soon as the doors closed, the "invalid" grabbed my wrist with a grip of iron and whispered a command that changed everything. I didn't understand why my own blood was so desperate to see me destroyed. What had I ever done to deserve a hit squad and a forced marriage to a man they thought was a corpse? But Barron isn't a vegetable, and I'm not a victim. We just touched down at the Moon family gala in a matte-black helicopter, and as the doors slide open, the "broken" bride is about to show them exactly what happens when you throw away the wrong daughter. "If we're going to crash a party," Barron whispered, his eyes burning with lethal clarity, "we should make an entrance."

For two years, I was the invisible force behind tech billionaire Kieran Douglas, convinced that our "private" romance was his way of protecting us from the tabloid spotlight. I managed his mergers, warmed his bed, and waited for a future that didn't exist. The illusion shattered at 6:00 AM when a Page Six alert debuted Kieran's "real" romance with socialite Aspen Schneider. Before I could even process the betrayal, Kieran sent me a cold, professional text: "Order flowers for Aspen. Pink peonies. Her favorite." When I tried to walk away, my own mother called me a disgrace and threatened to lock my inheritance forever unless I married a sixty-year-old businessman to save her failing estate. At a high-society gala that same night, Aspen intentionally crushed my burned hand in front of the cameras, while Kieran stood by and dismissed me as a "mediocre assistant" who had overstayed her welcome. I stood in the cold New York rain, drenched in champagne and humiliation, realizing that every sacrifice I made for Kieran was a joke. I was a ghost in a penthouse that was never mine, discarded the moment his "soulmate" returned. To the world, I was just a placeholder whose time had run out. But Kieran forgot one thing: my father's multi-million dollar trust fund unlocks the moment I legally marry. I didn't need love; I needed a signature and a shield. I walked into a discreet law firm and signed a marriage contract with a man I believed was the city's most notorious, scandal-ridden playboy. I thought I was marrying a degenerate "beard" to buy my freedom and secure my revenge. I didn't realize the man who signed that paper wasn't a playboy at all, but Gaston Collins-the most powerful and dangerous man on Wall Street-and he had no intention of letting our fake marriage stay fake.
