Love Me Tomorrow

CHAPTER ONE

*Maria pov*

Exploring the dream land. I spranged up from the bed I slept, fetched my toothbrush and paste with a glass of water and brush my teeth.

I quickly dash into the shower room, get my bucket filled with water as I walk into the water basin.

Using the bathroom tumbler to dish the water and pour it on hair, I apply my shampoo, hair conditioner and turning on the soap dispenser as I began washing my hair thoroughly.

After washing my hair, I turn on the shower tap, caressing my body with the natural hand soap as the water from the shower tap flushes off the soap foams from my body.

I unhacked a towel from the towel ladder stand and dry my body which was dripping wet.

Later, I got some lotion from the lotion dispenser, applying it on the various part of my body then l retired to my room to get dress.

I got dressed in no time as my phone vibrate.

"Hello ma'am, good morning." Elvis greeted.

"Morning Elvis. How are you ? ." I asked

"Am very well. Please I wanna tell you that the cab isn't working. So, I won't be able to take you to work this morning." Elvis said.

When I heard this, I grew fidgety.

"what a bloody hell are you Elvis ?." I bawled.

"Sorry ma'am, please I only need part payment of my monthly salary to get the cab fix." Elvis demanded.

"Bastard, I will sack you soon. You think you can fool me with bloody lies." I yelled.

"Please ma'am, I can't lied to you. I mean every bit of my word. Elvis plead.

"Hey nigga, stop building castle in the air cause you won't succeed." I responded with an attempt to hang up the call.

"okay ma'am. Let me send you some screenshot of the cab in WhatsApp at the mechanic workshop." Elvis reply imposing composture in me.

"Better, endeavour to send with your account number dick head. So, I gonna pay in your salary" I echoed hanging up the conversation.

Moment later, he send some of the captions displaying the cab inaccuracy and some spare part to be replace. So, it might be able to perform it duties.

I was seriously confused whether to send the money or not. But I was seriously constrain by my faith that Elvis is telling the truth.

I dial his number and call him.

"Hello dude, check your phone have just send $20 US dollars into your account." I gabbled.

Hanging up the call. I went in search of a cab, cause l was already running late to work.

--Coryson Development Enterprise.--

"Hey Maria, good morning." Andy yelled few metres away.

I didn't wanna pay any attention. So, I keep walking very fast approaching the foyer.

Before I could realise, Andy tapped my shoulder and said " Come on damsel. Why acting very strange, hope all is well ?."

"yeah dude, someone got me upset." I reply smiling fictiously.

There was something eating me up. I'm late for work today and I will be query by our M.D.

This man is a very strict disciplinarian and does'nt cajole with handling bad attitudes in the enterprise.

"fuck you Elvis, you're responsible for this mess." I whispered to my self grewing more fidgety.

while approaching the human resource department to report myself present for the day activities.

I met Raymond who told me that the M.D has restricted me from involving myself in any activity related to the enterprise.

"Hi love." Raymond said.

"Hi sugar." I responded with a peck.

"How are you and how was your night going baby ?." Raymond inquired.

"Awesome baby, just that am not feeling too well." I said staring at him.

"Gosh!, what's that fucken hell disturbing cute pie ?." Raymond reply looking worried.

"Baby, I don't considered this conversation to be held later in the day. Can't you see am running late." I gabbled.

"Please baby don't be acting so fuzzy. Let me remind you, the M.D wanna see you as soon as possible." Raymond said.

Living Raymond, I went to see the M.D as was told. He was leafing through a magazine as could'nt detect my presence Immediately.

"Good morning sir." I said standing still with some expectations of being free from query.

"Maria you're on suspension for one month." He said as his eye blazed up with anger.

"oh no!, please sir it wasn't my fault." I grimaced.

"come on Maria, we all live by principles and ethics in this enterprise. All workers here must pocess the element of right attitude to work." He said as his eye lit up.

"yeah, I know, but sir I don't wanna embark on any suspension." I said faking a smile.

"Damn you. You don't tryna object my decision. Now leave my office." His eye sparkled with chagrin.

I wanna stay longer to plead, but I sense anger, the very moment he grab his telephone. I quickly made my way out of his office.

*Raymond pov*

The door creaked open as I ran into hitting Maria.

"Hey love, please am sorry. It wasn't intentional." I said as my eyes was brim with tears.

"piss-off Raymond." she yelled.

"oh! no, I didn't meant to hurt you. I gonna buy you a new shoe. Since the coalition has disfigured this one." I chuckled.

"Don't fucken talk to me okay ?." She bawled as her eye blurnt with anger.

I wasn't being myself through out work that very day. What have I done to deserved this.

This is totally strange cause the Maria I know never acted like this before. We have been dating for over a year now and such gruesome attitude had never manifested in her life.

"Hi bro, sup why are you like this." Andy grimaced.

"Gosh!, yeah its Maria. I don't know why she's acting strange this days. " I bawled.

"oh!, come on, what's actually the bone of contention.?" Andy required staring up the ceiling.

"I ran into an accident of smaching here shoes and that's all." I elucidated.

"oh! no, I can't believe this that your fiancee would just ignored you because of that. Anyways that's awful, just cheer up and see her after work today okay ?." Andy said beaming.

"yeah bro, l will. Thanks for your concern." I complimented with a lop sided grin.

My conscience was giving me some premonitions of this maybe a threat to break up. I can't stand a chance of loosing my baby..

After rounding up with my duties for the day. I had to go and see Maria just to ensure that all is well between the both of us.

"Hi love, how are you doing.?" I asked with a grimaced.

"yeah, am not good at all." she said as her eye blurnt with anger.

"Come on , why getting annoyed ?, what the hell is wrong ?." I inquired.

"Hmmm, the M.D has suspended me. I tried embelishing my excuses but he ended up paying deaf ears." she said as her facial expression tends to erupt like that of volcanic eruption.

"Sorry love, but l wanna ask you about this in the foyer. lf not that you flare up and made me feel devastated." I said staring into her eye.

"Yeah, am sorry about that. I was carried away by the tension of getting suspended." she said felling into my arms as I peck her hair passionately.

I was paralyzed with happiness as the spirit of guiltiness flee from me.

I wish I could help her get back to work, but our M.D is strict with his actions and furious.

We broke the hug as I stared at her passionately.

"yeah, that's remind me. why were on a different cab to work today ?." I said caressing her hair which rested on my shoulder.

"My driver fucken called me this morning and said the cab is running at fault." Maria said staring up the ceiling.

"Damn, so has he get the cab fixed ?."

"yeah, after requesting for part payment of his salary." Maria said beaming.

"oh! well, that's not bad at all. Afterward he was demanding for his salary to get the cab fixed not your." I said with a giggled.

"No, I wanna get a new cab man, but Elvis is such an accomplished one." Maria chuckled.

"Gosh!, why did you wanna hire a new cab man." I said with a lop sided grin.

"Just that, he's giving so much headache and sometimes he makes me flare up at him." she admist

"I don't see anything wrong with that. Just take it kindly with him." I consoled.

she widened her eyeball in amazement.

CHAPTER TWO

*Maria Pov*

I was definitely amazed, when Raymond said I shouldn't fire Elvis my cabby.

" Baby why did you say I shouldn't fire Elvis." I inquired.

" Come on , this guy has been working for you all this while. He's submissive, obedient and trustworthy. I don't see any he has done wrong." Raymond stated.

I wasn't in a good condition to analyse my decision for Elvis. All I wanna do now, was to get back to work .

The suspension aura keeps bothering me. I was bemused of what next I gonna do to get back to my job.

I know what it takes me to be an employee to in "Corydon Development Enterprise" and I wouldn't stand a chance of loosing my job just within a twinkle of an eye.

After Raymond had went home. I was feeling so depressed, as was about to

to go and have my siesta. The door buzzy rang, moving to see who the person was.

" Hello ma'am , how are you doing?" Elvis saluted.

" Am not good Elvis. You made me loosed my job." I yelled.

" Oh my gosh, please ma'am am sorry it wasn't my fault that the cab broke down." Elvis interceded.

"Don't fucken talk to me Elvis. This is all your fault." I yelled.

He keeps pleading and I couldn't resist him any longer. He sat on the couch as I went inside to get him a bottle water.

" So Elvis what the hell are you doing here?." I inquired.

" Ma'am I will urge you not to let this whole thing bothers you a lot than your welfare." Elvis said .

" Elvis can't you comprehend the fact that you put me through this mess." I screamed.

" No one is above mistakes ma'am, perhaps the cab wasn't running at fault the yesterday. It was all a surprise to me that the cab broke down this morning. Man proposes God

disposes." Elvis preached.

" Hey dude, just pray I don't loose my job. Else, I will make life so miserable for you." I said

"Am sorry ma'am, just make sure you abscond from severe thinking. If only you don't wanna concoct high blood pressure. You health matters to me a lot." Elvis responded biding me goodbye.

* Elvis pov*

The life we live is so precarious and dreaded. The philosophers says "sometimes you don't need to show up your real personality in new environment just to ensure you know people who definitely loves you."

Am Elvis by nomenclature, a first class

graduate in marketing. I came back from London to USA to manage my father's legacy. I didn't know any of his

staff by their values respectively.

I planned on what to do in order to achieve this goal of mine. I decided to be a driver to one of the staffs, which definitely is Maria.

She's a good, beauty and elegant lady. I can't deny the fact that I'm in love with her. Despite her arrogance and annoying lifestyle.

Her suspension is also what I planned with my father's managing director.

The cab didn't broke down at all. It all a stepping stone to achieve my goals.

Long a ago, I had a fiancee, I love her with all my heart and I always tryna

know If she loves me too.

I came up with a pretext of telling her that my father wants to see me. Before he travels out of the state to a business trip.

Definitely she agrees and I had already

made surveillance of her movement by my friend's. It was that very night that my friend sent me a sex tape of my fiancee and the rep faculty in our department.

It was such an incidence which made vow never to fall for any lady in my life. When I came backed, I wanna break up with her, but my friend persuade me to give her a second chance without grieving her indulgence about the sex tape.

Yes I did, but I was such a bloody hell. When I saw Alexia kissing my coursemate on his birthday. I was boiled up a with anger and I broke up with her instantly.

I vowed never to ask a woman out. Up till date, I have been developing this phobia and hatred for the female folks. But am bewildered of what makes me having this feelings for Maria.

There was also another epitome of distraction here. Maria has a boyfriend and I don't think she might accept my proposal. Mayhaps she might not accept me because of my pretence of being a cabby.

"Well true love doesn't capitalised on wealth, status or identity." I said solemnly.

I decided to go and see my friend. Since a problem shared is a problem solved.

" Hi Elvis. What are you doing in my house today, because it has been a while over now ?." Rex yelled from the foyer.

" Hey man, never mine that okay?." I said.

" No probs, so how are you doing?." Rex asked.

" Am cool." I reply.

Rex went in and brought two glasses of red grapes wine as we both take a sip by saying "cheers."

"Yes man, on less I forget you haven't give account of your visitation in my abode." Rex said.

"Come on dude, won't you allow me

enjoy myself first?." I asked.

" Oh no, you will." Rex enthused.

" See I have a problem right now. And I don't know if you can be of help to me." I said

" Gosh!, What's the nature of the help?,

Is it in financially or the other way around?." Rex inquired.

" Is not financially, I only need some advice and guidelines on what I need to do now." I elucidated.

I told her everything about Maria as the woman I want in my life and how much I cherish and loved her.

Not also, with how to proceed to let her know what I feel for her deeply.

CHAPTER THREE

*Rex Pov*

When Elvis narrated his ordeal for me,

I was flabbergasted, why he choose to fall in love with still that same lady who's not respecting, but only harassed him always.

Due to the ignorance of the false identity of seeing him as a cabby.

" Elvis, see dude, why do you wanna go for this girl. After all what she has been doing to you?." I asked anxiously.

" Rex come on, just leave this alone

and do for me what I asked you to do please." Elvis said.

After several attempt of trying to persuade him not to proceed with the proposal, but he still rebuffed my advances.

Now to the detriment of understanding that I definitely know that Elvis was seriously in love with her.

" Elvis you said she has a boyfriend in town and probably will she accept you. I will only urge to keep showing her tender loves and cares now that she's no longer going to work." I said judiciously.

"How do you mean please?." Elvis said

" You gotta go and see her from time to

time, keep her company. " I said.

" How you think this will be possible, due to her cruelty?." Elvis inquired.

"Look up man, I know definitely that you have the balls to do this. Don't see your debute trial as a fallacy. Have those strong instinct and premonitions

of success." I said elegantly.

"Since my Rex has spoken, I have no doubt. I have put on the whole amour of love no hatred shall prevail against me." Elvis enthused with a smirk.

"Then after which this action is still continuous. She herself at her own detriment of understanding will acknowledge the fact that you extremely loved and care about her." I said taking a sip of my drink.

" Wow!, Rex now I see that you're good counselor. I wish the US government will appoint you as one." Elvis cajoled.

" See guy, am too pretty for that. What If they elect me to be the chief Judge of the federation. Will that cost them nor even a single dime?." I asked with a grimaced.

Elvis left and appreciated my advice. I definitely was waiting for his responds.
