It's your first night so we are assuming that the princess is waiting in her chambers right now."

Leonardo said , his voice seamed lower than usual perhaps he was scared and who would not be .

His body shook from fear while sweat travelled all the way from his head to his chin and than dropped on the carpeted floor.

He didn't dare looking at the man who killed every person to be present in the castle.

Including the Emperor of time , his whole family and noble houses who supported him .

The only person who remained was his wife .

"Didn't I ordered you to kill everyone of that blood and those related to it!''

The cold words that came out of his mouth sent shivers down the spines of those who were present.

Today He married the princess and also today he is going to kill her.

The butler Leonardo nodded silently and made his way out of the room in which emperor was staying in but the man , The duke stopped him .

"You don't have to.

I shall go and give my greetings to my long awaited wife "

with that said coldly he left with blood lusty eyes.

Yes ,she was the most awaited bride of Duke among the seven former ones.

His marriage with the princess was confirmed ten years ago .

It doesn't matter anymore.

Tomorrow the butler would have to take care of the dead body of his eight' wife.

Piles of paper were slammed forcely to shook the innocent Lisa who was working quietly behind the desk as usual.

Her Baby blue eyes looked up at the person who slammed them with confusion .

It was past eight at night and she just finished her pile of work .

"What are you looking? You bitch!

Manager need these by tomorrow. mke sure not to ruin my reputation!"

Estella who was her senior and the most famous beauty of her office said with gritted teeth and huffed at her .

while flipping locks of her hair and banged her fist on Lisa's table.

Lisa could not say anything but she wanted to .

She walked out with her hands linked with managers' .

Lisa let out a breath and looked at the pile of work that she needed to finish.

She worked all night and before she knew, It was already three in the morning.

She stood up after finishing her work and left her office with a very weak and tired body .

At this time of night she knew no local bus or train would be available.

She started walking while booking a cab to her home .

When all of a sudden a car with full speed came out of nowhere and she couldn't run .

Her whole body screamed in pain at the contact of her fragile body with the car .

Her lifeless body lead there while her soul screamed in pain .

The drunken driver left without looking back .

Tears flew out of Lisa's eyes as she thought of her life and regret took over her mind .

As the words left her mouth her vision blacked out .

I couldn't believe at first but after I looked at my hands and body .

I realised I was reincarnated.

I looked around and observed the luxurious room in which I was put .

It seemed odd at this present age .

Lot of people were standing in maids uniform.

She shouted while clutching a fist full of her hairs in her hand.

"Lady Estelle!

Please calm down .

Emperor will be here any minute now !"

Everyone around her tried to calm her down while reminding her that emperor will be coming.

My mind was confused at the "lady" and "emperor " word and could not come to any conclusion.

The door of the room opened and silence hung around the room .

Every person showed fear while their body trembled .

Then a guard announced the arrival of emperor.

The so called lady Estelle looked away in fear .

The emperor walked up to where I was and stopped right in front of me .

His eyes pierced through my tiny body and my whole body shook with fear .

It was as if I was frozen .

And then without wasting another minute he announced to throw me at the cold palace and forbade my entry into the royal palace .

At that time I realised that I was given a second chance and was reincarnated into a new world !

The maid shouted and looked everywhere.

And than when she couldn't find the five years old Lisa . She left furiously. while telling her that she will not be getting any dinner tonight.

She was thrown into an abundant cold palace right after her birth because of two reasons.

One was because she was a girl and her mother Concubine Estelle needed a son to secure her position as next empress.

And the second reason was because she had lots of scars on her body including her face.

A big scar covered her left eye and a part of her cheek .

The maids and doctors and whoever was present at her birth called her monster.

No one knew the reason behind her appearance.

After the emperor refused to accept her as his daughter.

Her Scars became the hot topic among noble families and people started calling her the "Princess of Scars "

She was given two maids to take care of cold palace.

Who used to call her hideous or disgusting.

And whenever they took her out side every one avoided her.

She started covering herself with a big cloak and her face with a mask of cloth that also covered her left eye.

"You are not getting any dinner tonight!"

As soon as she left .

I wiggled my way out of the small chinny and climbed the window.

After jumping from there I ran towards the forest behind this palace.

No guards were appointed to this place as this place was abundant and was on the verge of collapsing.

The building of this place was quite old and rusty.

A smile covered my whole face at the sight of the big forest in front of me .

I have been reading books on magic and it was one of my silly dreams from my past life to be able to do magic .

I read that if I summon a spirit I could learn magic related to the nature of the spirit that I have summoned.

Like tree spirit or water spirit.

After walking deep enough into the forest I drew a circle as mentioned into the book and sat down between it .

I closed my eyes and focused all my mind energy on feeling the spirit nearest to me .

I cutted my hand and dropped the blood coming out of my palm on the centre of the circle.

After a moment or so I felt something approaching me .

I tried to look closely.

it was not a fire spirit yet black flames were surrounding it's body .

It came closer and closer.

The next moment I know .

it attacked me and in horror I opened my eyes and broke my formation.

I picked up the book from ground and started running towards the palace when I heard a growl loud enough to shook the whole forest and it's surroundings.
