A contract with my clumsy and horny secretary Chapter 1 1

"Astrid, why don't you stay with us for the weekend?" Andrea asked his wife.

"I told you I have a meeting, I can't ruin my dreams of being an Andrea Laureti model" the woman exclaimed.

Andrea frowned. She had married Astrid two years ago, she had accepted her with a beautiful son who was not his, but who she had learned to love madly. But the woman, despite how good he had been to her, rejected any opportunity to be involved in "business trips" and he spent very little time with her. Her jealousy ate away at Andrea, because Astrid was a beautiful woman, in addition to being a model, he himself had promoted her world wide to promoted her career.

"I told you that I can leave one of my brothers in charge of the company, and go with you to Europe, and besides, we haven't spent much time together" Andrea exclaimed, holding the little three-year-old boy in her arms, who had begun to cry as he walked. understand that his mother was going to leave.

"¡Nooo!" Astrid responded immediately "My love, please, I promise you that as soon as I finish the cat walk I will return" Andrea nodded, fisting her hands in annoyance.

"It's okay" she kissed her lips and walked her out of the mansion.

He was the eldest son, so he had inherited the Laureti's most productive company, although, with that, a lot of work and envy. His father had taught him to be strong and not trust anyone, that's why he had many bodyguards around him.

"Take care of yourself" he told her, putting her in the truck and motioning to her bodyguard to take care of her. Although she had insisted that he leave on the family plane, she wanted to leave in public. Andrea was a little bothered by Astrid's way of being, but she loved her and always ended up giving in to her whims.

"You and I are going to eat cereal" she said to the baby who was looking sadly at her mother's car.

He entered the house. It was the weekend and Fernando, his twin, was helping him in the company. He had arrived a few days earlier because Demetrio, his father, had sent him to help Andrea a little. Fernanda was a woman of business and friends and she managed alone in Russia, but Andrea, after she had gotten married, could not cope with the company in the United States, which was the largest because it was one of the main ones.

He made the cup of cereal and sat on the couch with the baby. After a moment he fell asleep with his little child in his arms.

"Hey, you're drooling over Dante" Fernando elbowed him which made him react.

Andrea looked at the windows opening his eyes.

"It's night, surely Astrid has already arrived at her destination," she thought, getting up quickly to hand the baby to Fernando, who took it with hesitation.

"This child smells like death, you should change his diaper, he did two" he covered his nose.

Andrea stuck out her finger, annoyed, and began to call his wife in desperation, but there was no response.

"Astrid is not answering!" He exclaimed at the same moment that he looked at the television on where they were reporting the news that the public flight where his wife had boarded had crashed.

"¡Noo!" He shouted, falling on his knees in front of the television.

Two years later.

When Andrea Laureti entered the most prestigious restaurant in the United States, everyone was amazed by her beauty. He wore a deep look, his lips were closed in a thin line without expression and his figure was dominant.

He walked without looking at anyone, as if people were cockroaches around his.

In the distance he could see the group of managers with whom he had a meeting, so under the murmurs of the women who praised his figure, he walked there.

He looked so arrogant that she didn't notice the full tray of drinks that one of the waitresses in the place was carrying.

The girl was a clumsy young woman who had been hired a few days before, but she looked like she had oil on her hands. Everything about her fell out and always where she shouldn't have.

"This tray is so heavy" the redhead exclaimed, feeling her cell phone ring.

She put her hand in the apron of her uniform and answered while walking to the table she was supposed to attend to.

"¿Lucia, Hello, how are you? It's good that you called me, yes, I'm working, but we can talk" she exclaimed excitedly, at the precise moment she collided with a large body.

"¡Fuck!" Andrea screamed when she realized that a few drinks were spilled on her.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" the girl exclaimed, getting up from the floor. "I'll clean it, sir." She took out a handkerchief and began to clean it.

Andrea stayed for a few seconds looking at the woman. She was short, with scattered reddish hair, a small red mouth and amber eyes. She was beautiful, but he didn't have time to fall in love with any woman, he had a son to raise and the most important company in charge of him.

"¿Don't you see where you're walking, you insolent girl?" He shouted annoyed "I'll call the boss of this place ¿do you even know how much this suit you just ruined costs?" He asked trying to walk.

"No, no, sir, but you are also to blame, you were looking at the sky as if you were a real bird and it seems like you are an insolent little bird" Andrea's cheeks heated up. Who was she to call him that?

"¿How did he tell me?" He asked with her cheeks pink with annoyance. His veins were flickering strongly at that moment.

However, the restaurant's chief of staff walked out to where they were.

"¡Amber!" -he shouted-You're fired!

Amber stood still, what would she do now? She was the only thing she had to live on and surely her father and her sister would throw her out of the house when they realized that she was out of work again. She only had one option left: to agree to supplant her friend, who was the secretary of the most important application company in the United States, and to be the CEO's secretary at least until her friend was recovered.

"I hope that I stay in that job a little longer" She thought, shaking her snot from the tears shed as passed.

I stood at my mother’s open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest’s voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone—he brought Charla with him. He claimed she’d had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.

I was four months pregnant, weighing over two hundred pounds, and my heart was failing from experimental treatments forced on me as a child. My doctor looked at me with clinical detachment and told me I was in a death sentence: if I kept the baby, I would die, and if I tried to remove it, I would die. Desperate for a lifeline, I called my father, Francis Acosta, to tell him I was sick and pregnant. I expected a father's love, but all I got was a cold, sharp blade of a voice. "Then do it quietly," he said. "Don't embarrass Candi. Her debutante ball is coming up." He didn't just reject me; he erased me. My trust fund was frozen, and I was told I was no longer an Acosta. My fiancé, Auston, had already discarded me, calling me a "bloated whale" while he looked for a thinner, wealthier replacement. I left New York on a Greyhound bus, weeping into a bag of chips, a broken woman the world considered a mistake. I couldn't understand how my own father could tell me to die "quietly" just to save face for a party. I didn't know why I had been a lab rat for my family’s pharmaceutical ambitions, or how they could sleep at night while I was left to rot in the gray drizzle of the city. Five years later, the doors of JFK International Airport slid open. I stepped onto the marble floor in red-soled stilettos, my body lean, lethal, and carved from years of blood and sweat. I wasn't the "whale" anymore; I was a ghost coming back to haunt them. With my daughter by my side and a medical reputation that terrified the global elite, I was ready to dismantle the Acosta empire piece by piece. "Tell Francis to wash his neck," I whispered to the skyline. "I'm home."

I went to the City Clerk’s office for a routine copy of my marriage license to finalize a trust fund audit. I expected a simple piece of paper, but the clerk’s pitying look told me my entire life was a lie. "The license was never finalized, Ms. Oliver. In the eyes of the state, you are single." The three-hundred-guest wedding at the Plaza and the Vogue features meant nothing. My husband, Gray Cooley, had intentionally filed the documents with a "procedural defect" so he could discard me without a legal divorce. Moments later, an iCloud invite titled "Our Little Secret" popped up on my screen. It was a photo of my best friend, Brylee, holding a positive pregnancy test at our Hamptons estate. Gray’s text to her was the final blow: "Happy anniversary, babe. This baby is the best gift. Once the trust unlocks today, we’re done with the charade." I soon discovered they were even stealing my career, reassigning my architectural masterpiece to Brylee while preparing my eviction notice. Gray's mother called me a "barren mule" in a leaked recording, mocking the infertility I suffered after saving Gray’s life in a construction accident. I wasn't a wife; I was a three-year placeholder used to secure his inheritance. How could the man I bled for treat me like a disposable prop? How could my best friend carry his child while pretending to comfort me through my darkest moments? The betrayal burned until it turned into a cold, hard stone of fury. I didn't cry. Instead, I walked into the penthouse of the Barretts, the Cooleys' most powerful rivals. I signed a marriage contract with Kane Barrett, the man the tabloids called the "Beast of Wall Street." "I want a wedding," I told his father, my voice steady and lethal. "Bigger than the one I had with Gray." If they wanted me gone, they would have to watch me become the woman who owns their world.
