Begin Again with My Billionaire First Love Chapter 1 1

"So I'm really pregnant, Doc?" Rosemary could hardly believe her own eyes.

Her hands shook as she read the urine results from the RSIA laboratory. Five years of waiting is over. During these five years of marriage, Aron Albani, her husband, was expecting a baby.

Naturally, her husband was an only child. The presence of the next generation is definitely highly anticipated by the entire extended family. In the last two years, her husband was very stressed because of pressure from various parties.

Whether it's from the Albani family or from both parents. They all often insinuate their household life which is considered not perfect due to the absence of children. This pregnancy will definitely make her husband incredibly happy. Thinking about it, Rosemary's gratitude never stopped saying to the God.

"That's right, Mom. You are currently two weeks pregnant. Congratulations, Mom?" Doctor Brian is also happy to see the smile that continues to grow on the face of his young patient. He is an obstetrician for the Albani family. So he really understood Rosemary's position in that big, respected family. Rosemary's parents also often complain about their daughter-in-law not getting pregnant. Even though the marriage age of his son-in-law has entered the fifth year.

"But please remember. Your womb is still very young. Your uterus is still vulnerable to all kinds of shocks. Apart from that, your physical and psychological condition must always be maintained. You can't be too tired and have too many thoughts, OK, Mom?" Doctor Brian advised again. Rosemary nodded respectfully.

"Of course, doctor. I will take care of my womb as best I can. I will also always remember the messages, doctor. Excuse me, doc? Thank you for everything." Rosemary shook hands with Doctor Brian before leaving the practice room.

Rosemary stepped into the parking lot with a smile that kept growing. In her arms a letter of results from the hospital laboratory on his chest. She still couldn't believe that he was now pregnant with Aron's child.

Tommy, the personal driver, hastily opened the car door when he saw the presence of his young mistress. Seeing the smile that kept on the young lady's lips, then he knew about the laboratory results that his young lady had been waiting for two days. Tommy smiled. He was happy for the happiness of the entire Albani family.

"Let's go to Aron's office first, shall we, sir? I have something to tell him," said Rosemary.

"Okay, ma'am." Tommy swiftly runs the vehicle. While driving, Tommy was very careful. He avoids broken roads and drives at a moderate speed. As much as possible he avoided the shock. He didn't want his young mistress's womb to be disturbed.

Mr. Tommy glanced at the rearview mirror . Her young mistress returned to reading the letter with a joyful expression. Happiness continues to radiate on her gentle face. Thankfully, the long-awaited employer's extended family had a happy ending. That way all disputes related to heredity in the past will not happen again. As a worker, he was relieved.

During the trip, Rosemary kept imagining how her husband's expression would be when he read the letter from the hospital laboratory. Surely her beloved husband could not hold back his emotion and happiness. Waiting day and night during their five years of marriage finally bore a happy fruit. Imagining that, Rosemary couldn't wait to share the good news to her husband.

Forty-five minutes later, they arrived at an elite office building. Her husband worked here. Impatiently Rosemary got out of the car with the results from the laboratory in hand. If she followed her heart, Rosemary wanted to run as Safast as possible to her husband's room. She wanted her husband to read the letter from the hospital laboratory himself.

Arriving at the office lobby, Rosemary rushed into the elevator and pressed number 4.

Aron's office is on the fourth floor.

When the elevator door opened, Rosemary came out of the elevator with an increasingly wide smile. Her footsteps quickened because she wanted to meet her husband immediately. When she arrived at the door of her husband's study, her steps were blocked by Sunny, her husband's secretary.

"You're in there right, Sunny?" Rosemary asked her husband's secretary.

"A--there, ma'am." Sunny answered nervously. "In a moment, someone else is inside. How about let me notify the boss first?" Sunny said getting nervous. Usually Sunny was happy when she visited her husband.

"No need, Sunny. I want to surprise him." Rosemary said while turning the door handle.

"No,not now, ma'am!" Sunny exclaimed in fear.

As soon as the door to her husband's office opened, Rosemary was the one who got the surprise instead of her husband.

There, in the director's chair of her husband, Dina, her best friend was having a heated argument with her husband.

Due to the heat of their kiss, they didn't even realize that the door was open, and there were other people watching their actions.

"Dina!" Rosemary repeatedly said. He could hardly believe his own eyes.

Two people he loved and trusted the most, to the heart to betray like this.

The sky seemed to collapse right in front of her eyes.

Her painful scream made the two heads that were previously exchanging saliva move away suddenly. The faces of both of them went pale when they saw her presence. But there was something Rosemary caught before the link between the two's lips broke.

Satisfaction in Dina's eyes!

The heavy iron gates of the Wilderness Correction Camp groaned as they released me after three years of state-sponsored hell. I stood on the dirt road, clutching a plastic bag that held my entire life, waiting for the family that claimed they sent me there for "rehab." My brother, Brady, picked me up in a luxury SUV only to throw me out onto a deserted highway in the middle of a brewing storm. He told me I was a "public relations nightmare" and that the rain might finally wash the "stink" of the camp off me. He drove away, leaving me to limp miles through the mud on a snapped ankle. When I finally dragged myself to our family estate, my mother didn't offer a hug; she gasped in horror because my muddy clothes were ruining her Italian marble. They didn't give me my old room back. Instead, they banished me to a moldy gardener’s shack and hired a "babysitter" to make sure I didn't embarrass them further. My sister, Kaleigh, stood there in white cashmere, pretending to cry while clinging to her fiancé, Ambrose—the man who had once been mine. They all treated me like a volatile junkie, refusing to acknowledge that Kaleigh was the one who planted the drugs in my bag three years ago. They wanted to believe I was broken so they wouldn't have to feel guilty about the "wellness retreat" that was actually a torture chamber. I sat in the dark of that shed, feeling the cooling gel on the cigarette burns that covered my arms, and realized they had made a fatal mistake. They thought they had erased me, but I had returned with a roadmap of scars and a hidden satellite phone. At dinner, I didn't beg for their love. I simply rolled up my sleeves and showed them the price of their silence. As the wine spilled and the lies crumbled, I sent a single text to the only person I trusted: "I'm in. Let them simmer." The hunt was finally on.

Six years ago, I was a naive girl sold by my father to the powerful Sanders estate, only to be tossed onto the streets after a brutal assault they labeled "marital infidelity." I fled the country pregnant and broken, hiding from the shadow of a husband I had never even met. Now, I’ve returned to New York with my triplets to sign the final divorce papers and disappear forever. But Archibald Sanders—the man I was told was a crippled recluse—intercepted us with the cold precision of a predator. He didn't see the woman his family destroyed; he saw a gold-digger who had shamed his name. His security team hunted us to a grimy motel, using tactical force to snatch my children away and drag me to his glass-walled empire. In his office, he loomed over me, demanding a DNA test and threatening to throw me in prison while my babies were lost to the foster system. He was convinced I’d cheated, yet he stared at my sons with a haunting confusion, unable to ignore the stormy blue eyes that were a perfect mirror of his own. I stood there, paralyzed by his scent—the sharp tang of rain and expensive leather that triggered the icy dread of my worst nightmares. How could he accuse me of betrayal when he felt exactly like the monster who had shattered my life in that dark hotel room? "I'll sign anything," I sobbed, "just give me my kids." But the game changed when my five-year-old son hacked the tower’s security, holding the skyscraper hostage to save me. In the chaos, a fragile, silent boy—Archibald’s secret son—wandered into the room and reached for me as if I were his missing soul. Archibald’s face turned to stone as he tore up the agreement and locked the doors. "Until I find out why my son is looking at you like that," he growled, "you aren't going anywhere."

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.
