On the topmost floor of a presidential suite, two bulky men in black walked into room 102. They should be very scary but looking at these men, one could say they looked like dogs who just pooped on the rug and were awaiting judgement from their master.

"Boss, we searched the whole building, but we weren't able to find Master Thomas" one of the bulky men reports

In the dark room, a man raises his head to look at the bulky men, if it wasn't for the situation at hand, they would really take time to appreciate his beauty. He wasn't just handsome, he had the full qualities of a man any girl should be dreaming of having. Those hazel eyes, full eyebrows and lashes, who knew men also had thick lashes running down to those luscious lips and yes, the toned and chiselled packs, he was just out of this world.

"You are all telling me that I paid you money to find a little boy who is not as big as you are and you come in here and give me this bullshit story you both orchestrated from your mouths "

Liam stood up and walked to them, before they could register what was on, several punches landed on them. They were too surprised to say a word. Both of them fell to the ground wounded and bleeding.

"So Thomas thinks he can outsmart me because I pamper him a lot?" He walks to the other side of the room opening the curtain, Liam takes a puff of the newly lit cigarette, maybe two puffs, or a lot until he feels satisfied, which was the very least to say how he felt.

Tina was so shocked that the only response she could form was to laugh. She laughed so much that droplets of tears left her eyes. She crouched down with her hands on her chest, " so me giving birth to Liam and Thomas was a transaction for you?" She laughed again, it was too funny and painful to think that 16 years of her life was a lie and her husband was a cheat....the most annoying part is the fact that he is the same age as Liam....what would Liam think of his father now.

"Mom.....why are you crying" although it looked like Liam just came in, he had heard everything his dad and mom said. Tina wiped her tears and rushed to Liam's side and knelt down " my boy ,it's nothing" she sniffed and turned her face to the other side to wipe her tears.

Liam knew understood what was happening but because his mother said nothing, he wasn't going to create a fuss, that wasn't until Grace hooked her arms around Joel

" Honey why don't we go inside, our son is very tired and I am sooooo famished "

No one had paid attention to her since she entered, she was so pained that she could not keep with the quiet attitude she had planned to use. Since the family was already crumbling because of her, why not add more salt to the wound?.

Everyone turned to her and she had finally gotten the attention she was craving for, she was so elated that she continued with her coquettish tricks. "Honey.........." Joel shifted his attention to her "let's go up"

Tina was left alone with her sons. She took Liam by his hand and Thomas with the other, and led them to their rooms. She couldn't let her children see her at her worse, she just couldn't " Mummy will go prepare lunch, you just want here" turning to Liam "you watch your brother"

With that, she walked out of the room sniffing and crying till her legs gave in and she started running. She ran until she fell down. It broke her, she had only heard about this kind of situation but to think it was happening behind her back and she only knew now. But she should be strong, for her children, they were the reason she was living. If they were there with her, she could push through anything.

But pushing through everything wasn't as simple as it seems. Life became unbearable when Grace became pregnant again, it was almost as if Grace ran the house and children became invisible. She would taunt Tina if she was given a chance and all coy in front of Joel when she was caught.

Things got worse when Grace blamed Tina for the death of her unborn child, Liam and Thomas could only watch in silence, but things took a turn for the worse when Joel started assaulting Tina. All Tina could do was endure for the sake of her children. She wanted a good life for them but the assault kept on repeating itself until Tina could not take it anymore.

She asked for a divorce, deep down she wanted him to refuse it and convince her that he'll change but he buried every good she saw in him

Tina had to work three shifts to send Liam to college. She couldn't give them everything they wanted but she always did her best. Liam learned things the hard way, he stopped asking his mother for money, he started juggling work and school but his intelligence paved the way for him and he came out best graduating student.

Anderson & TT Conglomerate was where it is now because of the hard work put into it. It was a sole company producing and selling furniture, after which it ventured into home appliances and now it is a company of companies.

Liam had been inside the whole day and had refused to enjoy the nightlife of the hotel exquisite club.
