"Don't you want to repay the favor? How about I repay it with my body?" After saying that, he planted a kiss on her, causing her to feel terrified. "Please have some self-respect, young master." "Self-respect? I've grown up this much and only now someone speaks like that." "A" A beautiful figure tumbled over his shoulder, a young girl with a mischievous aura fell to the ground in a strange posture. "Ember, you, must, die!" From that moment on, her life completely changed...

Chapter 1 Hey! Are you satisfied now

Ember Anderson slowly closed her beautiful jade-like eyes, still picturing her mother's gentle smile in her mind.

She couldn't believe her beautiful and gentle mother had left her like this forever.

"Hey! Are you satisfied now?" A voice devoid of warmth echoed in her ears, and his warm breath made her nerves numb. Immediately after, a heavy hand was placed on her shoulder. Ember Anderson sighed inwardly. This young master Sherwood seemed quite childish.

The scene from a few hours ago flashed through her mind again...

"Lewis, Ember will be your younger sister from now on. You have to take good care of her." Lewis Sherwood's mother, Mrs. Olivia, hugged Ember Anderson's shoulder with one hand and prepared to open Lewis Sherwood's room.

Hearing this, Lewis Sherwood's body stiffened, slowly turning to look from top to bottom at the savior of their family's patriarch. The girl had small, long eyebrows, beautiful eyes, and a pleasant countenance, not considered the most beautiful but giving others a sense of tranquility-especially her clear eyes, like a clean pond, without any impurities.

But he wasn't captivated by her pure appearance. After all, her mother had put in much effort and even risked her life to save him. It was said that her mother was in the final stage of cancer, near death, and had calculated this plan with the hope that her precious daughter would enter the Sherwood family.

Indeed a cunning woman!

And what he hated the most was someone with such deep scheming.

Ember Anderson also evaluated Lewis Sherwood in front of her. Looking at him, he was clearly an ugly teenager, with one hand arrogantly stuffed in his pocket and the other holding a black jacket over his shoulder. She had heard early on that the Sherwood family members were arrogant and unpredictable. Seeing him for the first time, she felt disgusted and confused.

But thinking again, now that she was living under the Sherwood family, she couldn't oppose their only son. She could only smile friendly and say, "Hello, I'm Ember Anderson. I hope to learn a lot from you in the future!"

"Disgusting!" Unexpectedly, the other party responded with two shameless words.

Before Ember Anderson could react, Mrs. Olivia was so provoked that she took a deep breath. With one hand on her waist, she pointed at Lewis Sherwood like an angry woman. "Who treats their sister so impolitely? Apologize to your mother!"

At this moment, Ember Anderson remained silent... She wanted to strangle him right then and there, but her aunt had said that, so if she acted like that, she would be in the wrong.

"It's fine, Aunt. Maybe the young master isn't in a good mood today." A slightly unnatural smile appeared on her face, and seeing Lewis Sherwood's unfriendly gaze towards her, it didn't become any friendlier.

But she didn't care. "I'm truly sorry, Ember, but you don't have to call him 'young master.' You can call him by his name or just 'brother.'" Mrs. Olivia smiled, then turned her head and changed her expression to a stern one. "Go back to your room and think about it, my dear! Tonight, you don't have to eat!"

Seeing Lewis Sherwood's angry eyes, Ember Anderson had a hunch that something wasn't right.

However, she didn't expect that, past midnight, he would come to her room.

"I have a name; I'm not called 'this.'" She turned around, her whole body dressed in a white dress with flower patterns, resembling a beautiful princess.

"Look at you, acting so arrogant without my mother around? Hmph!" Lewis tightened his grip on her shoulders, his gaze as if spewing fire. "Tell me! What is your purpose for coming to my house?"

Purpose? Ember chuckled softly. "My mother died because of your father, so my purpose is to make everyone in this family feel indebted to me, to repay me! Do you understand?"

In truth, she didn't think like that in her heart.

"Indeed..." Lewis Sherwood's eyes turned cold, his grip on her shoulders tightening even more, not allowing her to flinch before he said, "You, bitch, leave our house immediately!"

"Do none of the rich have any manners like him?" Ember Anderson couldn't hold back and raised her hand, preparing to slap Lewis Sherwood. Wasn't she trying to help people? After all, she had never slapped anyone like this in her life.

"Lewis Sherwood, I respected Mr. Sherwood and Aunt Sherwood, which is why I held back. But what do you base your insults on? Do you think you're so noble?" Being questioned like that by Ember Anderson, Lewis Sherwood didn't know how to respond. On the contrary, he was threatened and stepped back, loosening his grip.

"Listen carefully." Ember Anderson continued, "I have no interest in your family's wealth. I want to attend a university and fulfill my mother's dream, so you do no need to give me that cold look."

"A..." Lewis Sherwood regained his composure and chuckled lightly, "Do you think I will believe your words?"

Ember Anderson chuckled lightly, "That's what I wanted to say. Whether you believe it or not is up to you. It's late. No need to see me off."

Seeing Ember Anderson's dismissive attitude, a nameless fire rose in Lewis Sherwood's heart, but he stepped forward and grabbed her shoulder again, shouting, "Don't you want us to repay you? Then... I'll repay you with my body!"

Before Ember Anderson could react, he leaned in and, intending to seek revenge, kissed her.

She opened her eyes wide, unable to believe any of this. The precious first kiss she had cherished for seventeen years... was given to someone inexplicably?

When Ember Anderson finally reacted and pushed Lewis Sherwood away, her eyes were ice-cold. "Mr. Han, have some self-respect!"

"Self-respect?" He sneered, "As a Han, I'm used to being treated like this. Have you forgotten how noble I am?"

"So, are you proud of yourself?" Her gaze grew even colder, pausing momentarily before uttering a word, "Leave!"

"Leave? You don't want to see me like this?" He approached her step by step, wanting to make her fall in love with him.

Ember Anderson couldn't help but tremble slightly, thinking this person had a severe narcissism problem. Did he believe narcissism was acceptable in any way?

"How about that? Can you see through me?" Lewis Sherwood reached out, wanting to grab her shoulder again, but this time, a ray of light flashed in Ember Anderson's eyes. Using a move to throw him over her shoulder, she made him fall to the ground.

"Ahh!" Lewis Sherwood fell to the ground in a bizarre position. "Ember Anderson! You... must... die!!!"

She blinked her eyes disdainfully, imitating Lewis's arrogant appearance, and roared, "Miss, don't be afraid! So... leave!"

Lewis Sherwood crawled out of her room, leaving a more vulgar line, "Remember that for me!"

Yes, she would remember it well.

Taking a deep breath, she walked to the door and locked it. Life from now on, she feared, would not be pleasant... Moreover, next time before going to sleep, she must remember to close her room!

The following day, Ember Anderson calmly sat at the dining table, leisurely having breakfast.

"Ember, did you sleep well last night?" Mr. Tom Sherwood, the head of the Sherwood family, raised his head to ask Ember Anderson. The soundproofing of the house was excellent, so they didn't know anything about what happened last night.

She nodded, a hint of naturalness appearing in her eyes. Inside, she felt the pain of losing her first kiss, which she had cherished for seventeen years, and then she saw Lewis Sherwood in the white uniform of the Royal Academy of Senoxria.

She couldn't help but admit that when he was silent, he resembled a prince.

Bowing her head, she no longer looked at him and ate her breakfast seriously. She was also dressed in the white uniform of the Royal Academy of Senoxria, the upper part of which was well-designed and within her acceptable range. But the lower part... Oh my, the dress was so short that it was pitiful. A slight bending would absorb the light. So when she saw someone wearing that outfit, she couldn't adapt to it.
