Fiery Love

Chapter 1

Diana yawned as she stretched herself on top of her king sized bed. She had just been woken up by her noisy alarm clock and was really angry because she was in one hell of a deep sleep before the interruption by her alarm clock.

She took it and smashed it with her footwear throwing it through the window. She checked the time and it was 7:30 AM on the dot. Gosh why didn't this stupid alarm wake me up earlier she thought angrily. Well obviously she had been putting it off sleepily since 6:00 am.

Oh shit I am screwed. Professor Raymond will be in class by 8:00 on the dot and I have less than thirty minutes to arrive in class.

Diana hurriedly brushed her teeth,while practically removing her pyjamas at the same time. She then entered the bathroom and had her bath before coming out to get prepared.

By the time she was out it was already few minutes past eight. She quickly put on a red sweater with black pants and an exotic canvas running down the stairs to the dinning room where her family consisting of her mom,dad,and two siblings were already having breakfast.

"Diana come join us for breakfast" Lauren said smiling at Diana.

"No mom,I can't right now. Its impossible because if I do I am not coming back alive" Diana replied.

Diana then quickly took a sandwich which she munched on while giving dad a peck.

"Jeez Diana,you crazy girl.you should have done that earlier on" Jones said as he used his handkerchief to clean the stain on his face and the twins laughed at that with mom.

Yeah Jason and Stacy are twins and they will soon be clocking sixteen.

"Sorry dad,I love you all. Jason and Stacy see you guys" Diana screamed as she ran into the car.

"Morning maam" Rogers greeted as soon as he saw her.

"Morning Rogers" Diana replied and got in the car through the backdoor Rogers had already opened for her.

He then took off to Skyhigh.

Diana got off the car at the school's gate which has a bold writing " WELCOME TO SKY HIGH". She looked at herself and felt comfortable with what she saw.

To her a lady must always look presentable.

She checked her time and it was 8:30 on the dot. "I am screwed now" she said to herself as she began to walk to her class.

As she took the walk to her classroom some students smiled at her, while some cat awkward glances at her.

'Whats with them ' Diana thought inwardly.

Meet Diana, nineteen years old, really crazy and can't stay a day without having fun that means obviously causing one trouble or the order. She has really long hair with sharp eyes that you could drown in, and a physique like an hour glass.

Though she wants to fall in love like others she often gets scared of being dumped and taken for granted so she always hides her feelings and put up a bold front to every guy who treated himself as a god.

Well that's enough for now, you will get to know more about her later on.

As Diana got to the door of the class, she exhaled heavily obviously expecting the worst that could happen.

She then opened the door and as expected Mr Raymond the history teacher was already in class teaching. All eyes were on her as she opened the class getting in.

"Diana why are you just getting to school by this time" Mr Raymond asked.

Well of cause Diana knew she had to come up with a lie to save her face,but she was not that good at telling Lies also.

"Mr Raymond, my car broke down on the way, and my stuffs got scattered in the car so I had to look for my stuffs in the car" Diana said and the whole class burst into laughter.

'I knew it was because of my lie. I should have just said the truth and now instead of saving my face I ended up ruining it' Diana thought inwardly as she bit her lower lips.

"Yes that's true and while looking for your stuffs someone threw sandwich on your face" he said and the class burst into another round of laughter.

Diana felt so embarrassed that she wished the ground could just swallow her. She had forgotten to clean her face up after hurriedly eating the sandwich and she didn't use any makeup.

"Oh Diana you are so dead" Diana muttered to herself.

"Go have your seat" Mr Raymond finally said the words Diana had been dying to hear and she was instantly relieved. She quickly got to her seat which was beside her best friend clara who was obviously also her seatmate.

"Crazy bitch I guess we are going to get another alarm clock after school" clara whispered to her playfully hitting her head.

" It was not my fault this time around,it interrupted my peaceful sleep and had to pay the price" Diana replied chewing gum.

"Its obviously your fault for not waking up on time,and when you finally woke up you had to destroy the poor clock for heeding your instruction and waking you up. I had asked you for it but you promised not to destroy it you heartless girl" Clara said hitting her index finger on Diana's forehead.

"Clara you..." whatever Diana had to say got interrupted as professor Raymond's voice was heard. He had obviously caught up to our chatting in the class.

" Hey Diana and Clara out of the class!" Mr Raymond yelled at the both of us.

Oh God not again. Diana stood up to leave the class with clara right behind her and she heard him say "Birds of the same feathers" to which she replied "Are siblings!" and the whole class exploded with laughter.

" Get out!!" Professor Raymond thundered angrily and they ran off laughing.

"Feels good at least I got him angry" Diana laughed feeling satisfied with herself.

"Hey girl let's go get something to eat" DianaI said to clara.

She was obviously hungry as a result of skipping breakfast at home.

When they got to the cafeteria only a table for three was vacant and she sat there.

"Are you crazy" asked clara.

"what's wrong" Diana asked shocked at Clara's reaction to her sitting there.

"This table is specially reserved for the Skylords and in fact it belongs to them" Clara said pointing to where i was sitting.

"Whatever" Diana said still paying attention to her dish.

"See Diana I know you are new to this school that's why you are ignorant but listen. The skylords are Evans, Chris,and Bruce. Evans is the only son of the mayor, and I don't have all the time in the world to tell you his networth. Chris is the son of Mr Williams the joint owner of this school and a business tycoon, and Bruce is such a bad ass, I heard his family's wealth are as a result of them being in the mafia though they have many legit businesses now. Though I didn't tell you everything about them you can't afford to cross their ways" Clara said cautiously.

"Thanks for the long introduction but I still don't give a damn. If they cross my way I will give them hell" Diana said stamping her fork on the table.

Clara had no choice but to join her silently wishing the Skylords do not come. But it seemed like her wish was not granted because no sooner had she settled down to eat did she start hearing screams.

Oh my gosh the Skylords are here.They are so cute.

I wish I could just have a taste of Evans lips it will taste better than ice cream

Chris is so cool and Bruce as hot as ever

I am your biggest fan Evans please take me out on a date

How I wish I could stay by their side even as a cook

The comments were too much that Diana had to close her ears.

The air emanating from them exuded that superiority over everyone.

The door to the cafeteria was flung open and they walked in. It was Diana's first time seeing them and they really looked like angels among humans. Evans was in front, closely followed by Chris and Bruce.

To Diana Evans looked calm,Chris was cool and Bruce was really hot, but to her they were really arrogant and anyone that's arrogant was not that good looking. Ironical right.

They walked up to our table or should I say theirs,but I don't give a damn.

"Hey" Evans said.

"Are you referring to me" Diana asked sarcastically.

"Who else or am I acting on stage here" Evans asked.

"That's rude,you should have some mannners" Diana said coldly.

The crowd gasped at what she saiid.

Does she have a death wish

She seems new to Skyhigh or she wouldn't challenge Evans this way

Too sad she won't be staying long in this school

"Well I don't care about manners,but you should have some manners when eating. The table belongs to us and I want you to get up right now!" he ordered.

"Please let's go to avoid more trouble" Clara said.

"It seems like your friend here has more brains than you, so now get out!" he raised his voice a bit trying to intimidate Diana into submission.

However that made her more determined to prove that she i was not scared or afraid of them as she saw the way Chris and Bruce were looking at her obviously trying to pressure her into giving in but Diana was not having any of that.

Too bad that they had to meet a bad ass like her.

"Is that an order or a request" Diana asked.

"What does it look like to you" Evans replied.

"A request" Diana smirked.

"No. It's an order" Evans said.

"And if I don't" Diana asked.

"Well it seems like you want it the hard way" Evans said getting hold of Diana's shirt but she was not having any of that and she used her remaining dish to stamp his face as everyone shrieked in shock.
