Nyla's POV:

I was awakened by the pain all over my body. My lower body was the sorest. And I felt strange. It seemed messy.

I turned my head and saw a tall and strong werewolf sleeping soundly beside me. Then the scenes from last night flashed through my mind. Suddenly, I was overwhelmed by embarrassment.

Never in my wildest dreams had I thought I would have sex with Killian Cohen.

He was one of the sons of the Alpha of the Black Moon Pack and the most powerful werewolf in the pack. I, on the other hand, was a mere Omega and his servant. We were worlds apart.

I had always been afraid of him. So last night, when he broke in and forced me to have sex with him, I didn't dare to resist at all. After all, I didn't have the ability to resist. My strength was no match for him.

Besides, the unique feeling when he touched me proved that he was my mate. Perhaps it was one of the reasons why I couldn't resist him.

While I was staring at him, Killian's eyelids suddenly flickered.

He was awake, so I quickly closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep.

But when I felt that he got up, I opened my eyes. Then I saw him rubbing his temples. Although I felt uneasy, I called him softly, "Mr. Cohen..."

The moment he saw me, his face darkened at once.

Nyla Higgins, did you plan all this? he asked with a frown.

I looked at him fearfully. "Plan? What plan? I don't understand. Please make it clear."

Killian sneered. The way he looked at me, it was as if I was a piece of filthy trash.

He said disdainfully, "You are nothing but a loser Omega who can't transform into a wolf even when you are already an adult. How dare you climb into my bed! Do you think you deserve to be my Luna?"

His harsh words made me feel so embarrassed that my face flushed. But I could only shake my head helplessly. "Mr. Cohen, I... I didn't climb into your bed. And I never wanted to be your Luna. I..."

Before I could finish my words, the door was suddenly knocked open with a loud bang.

I turned my head in a panic, only to see a group of werewolves rushing in aggressively.

I hurriedly picked up my torn clothes on the floor and put them on, trying to cover the marks on my body.

The werewolf leading the group was Robbin Cohen, the current Alpha of the Black Moon Pack.

He glared at Killian and cursed, "You bastard! Do you even know what you're doing? You suddenly disappeared at the banquet. It turned out you messed with an Omega. You are a disgrace to our Black Moon Pack!"

While Robbin was scolding Killian, I lowered my head awkwardly and curled my body into a ball, hoping they would not notice my presence.

But I was wrong. Because the next second, I was pulled up by a great force that made me almost fall.

Then, a heavy slap landed on my face with a crisp sound. I felt the burning pain. I didn't need to look in the mirror to know my face was red and swollen.

You bitch! A sharp curse almost pierced my eardrums. "How dare you seduce Killian! Shame on you!"

I raised my head and found it was Alyssa Ortiz who slapped me. She was the daughter of the Beta of the Black Moon Pack. Everyone in the pack believed she was the perfect match for Killian. Her face was distorted with anger.

I lowered my head again and covered my aching face with my hand. My ears were still buzzing from the impact of the slap. Then I looked at Killian stealthily, holding a glimmer of hope in my heart.

Since I was his mate, would he speak for me?

I wished he would. After all, everything that happened last night proved that I was his mate. If he didn't recognize me, why did he break in and rape me?

But much to my dismay, Killian had no intention of speaking for me. He didn't even look at me. I could tell from his expression that he was enraged. He said coldly, "Something was wrong with my wine last night. Someone must have put a drug in it."

What did he say? His wine was drugged?

I was so stunned that I froze for a moment.

All the wine at the banquet was prepared by this bitch. She must have set you up so she could sleep with you, Alyssa said fiercely, pointing at me.

No, I didn't do anything. I wanted to explain, but no one paid attention to me. Obviously, they didn't care about what I wanted to say.

Robbin looked at Killian and said with a frown, "Killian, I want you to know that I am very disappointed in you. Not only as your father but also as the Alpha of our pack. It seems that I need to reconsider my successor."

After saying this, he turned around and left.

Killian watched Robbin's receding back for a moment. Then he suddenly turned to me, approached me step by step, and stared at me as if he was looking at a corpse.

I could see he was on the verge of transforming into his wolf form, and I was extremely terrified.

What did he want to do?

Was he going to kill me?
