I never thought that after the death of my father, everything had changed.

Spoiled by Alpha King Chapter 1 Blink's POV

I never thought that after the death of my father, everything had changed.

At this moment, I was standing in the dark attic, thinking about the happy and free life with my father. I remembered that afternoon when my father huggud and kissed me as if it happened yesterday.

"Daddy, daddy, I want you to play with me!" I shouted and jumped onto my father's back, regardless of whether he was talking to some alphas.

My brother Agar yelled at me ferociously: "What are you doing! Didn't you see that we are having a training?! Blink!"

My brother shocked me, but I was not afraid of him because my father was protecting me behind him immediately.

Dad glanced at his son sternly, and said solemnly: "Don't do this to your little sister, she is still young." I made a smirking face at my brother.

Then, Dad turned to me, put me on his back, and said softly: "I will play with you as soon as I finish, okay? We will play together happily all day, but now the training is still expected to go ahead. Can you wait for me?"

I acted like a baby and said: "Well, Dad, I'll wait for you. But I still have one question for you. When can I start training?"

I am like a spoiled child. I like the feeling of being pampered by my father, and I love my father very much. It's just that I have never seen my mother. My father said that she died when I was very young. I really want to get training, and then use the power I have as an alpha to travel to the past to meet my mother.

Before I finished speaking, my father put me on his lap and hugged me with one arm. Then his tight brows suddenly loosened, squeezing my face.

"Haha, don't worry, my baby. You are now a princess, and you will become a queen in the future. In the Alpha Kingdom, I, your brothers, and all the soldiers will protect you. You don't need to train at all."

I glanced at the brothers next to me. They were smirking at me, looking at me with contempt.

I lowered my eyelids and nodded vigorously.

My father saw the expressions of my brothers, and then he turned a sharp eye on them.

My brother stood up angrily and pointed at me and shouted, "Your Majesty, she is spoiled by you! She should be trained like us! Why didn't you let her train? It's not because..." My brother's eyes were full of anger. I hide behind my father's arms, shivering all over.

And then I ran out of the meeting room.

"Shut up! You will scare Blink!" Father interrupted my brother.

The father gave my brother a death gaze, then gently placed me on the ground and patted my shoulder, "Baby, can you wait for me outside for a while?" I nodded.

He slapped the table with all his strength, And then stood up "Nonsense! She is your little sister, before or after my death, you! You should all take care of her! This is an order! Don't disobey! You, and Hesse swear now!"

Then I heard the oath of my brothers, they said they would protect me forever.

I did not leave here, but leaned against the wall outside the training room, listening to my brother swearing to my father that he would protect me for the rest of my life.

I believe in my father, that he has the supreme right to protect me. I'm a princess, and I just have to be happy every day. Training is unnecessary for me, because the entire alpha kingdom will see me as the jewel in the palm, and those who hurt me will also be punished.

But my father died that day, I had nooooo idea for that. I don't know what happened in the training room then. When I came in again, I found my father lying still on the floor, without blood. His face was deadly pale. And the other alphas kneed on Agar's feet obeying to him.

I don't know why my father died, and I also forgot how long I cried on my father that day, until Agar pulled me up violent. I thought he would comfort and protect me now, and he would give me the training I always wanted in the future.

But things are very different from what I thought.

They failed to keep their promises and their attitude changed drastically in less than five minutes. Hesse pushed me to the ground fiercely, "Father?! Who is your father? Princess? Get over yourself! You are not worthy at all! Your mother is a entire slut! We even don't know who your mother is! "

I screamed as I ran out, "Liar, liar, liar."

But in fact I was a liar. What the brothers said is true, because before that I have discovered that all the wolves and kingdoms know that I was an illegitimate daughter of my father. I hear that my mother is a lowly maid in the kingdom. This is a fact that I don't want to face.

After my father died, my brothers no longer needed me, except for one other thing that made me ashamed.

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.

The Ghost Wife's Billion Dollar Tech Comeback

The Ghost Wife's Billion Dollar Tech Comeback

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband’s Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn’t find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn’t even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father’s legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn’s party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara’s health and managing every detail of Caden’s empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I’d drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause—if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I’d forgotten.

The Mute Bride Is The Secret Mastermind

The Mute Bride Is The Secret Mastermind

I was the titan of Wall Street until an indictment and an ankle monitor turned my penthouse into a gilded cage. To save face, I was forced into a marriage with Elza, a "mute" girl from the Schmidt family whom I treated as nothing more than a silent piece of furniture while my empire crumbled. The night I was poisoned at a high-society gala, a mysterious server in an oversized uniform saved my life with terrifying, clinical precision. They disappeared into the night, leaving me with a silver cufflink and a burning obsession to find the shadow who held my life in their hands. Back home, I took my frustration out on Elza, telling her she was "exhausting to look at" and "smelled like sickness" after her charity visits. Her own family treated her like a stray dog, trying to humiliate her at the next gala by dressing her in what they claimed was a cheap knockoff while whispering to the press that she was nothing but a high-end escort. "Stay out of my way," I would growl at her, never noticing the steel in her eyes. I sat at my table, watching my rivals' stocks plummet and wondering who "The Zero"—the legendary financial ghost—really was. I never suspected that the woman I ignored was the same one solving the equations that were currently burning Manhattan to the ground. The injustice peaked when Elza stood before the city's elite, not as a victim, but as a queen. She dropped over a hundred million dollars to buy back her family’s legacy, revealing a secret fortune that made my own empire look like pocket change. As I grabbed her wrist and saw the small red mole hidden beneath her watch, the truth hit me like a physical blow. The silent wife I had despised was the savior I had been hunting, and she was finally done playing the victim. "We have a lot to talk about, wife," I whispered, realizing I had been sleeping next to the most dangerous woman in the world.

I Slapped My Fiancé-Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé. Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now-billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn't mind. I'd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one? Wrong. One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That's when it hit me-he didn't love me. He didn't even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn't even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup. So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster-my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise. Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol. Enter him. Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I'd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes. It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised. But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life. And, as it turned out, the best decision I'd ever made. Because my one-night stand isn't just some random guy. He's richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with. And now, he's not letting me go.
