I walked upstairs to my bedroom, and my heart beat fast as I reached the door. The sounds of soft pants and moans filled the room. "I want you now... The voice echoed inside my head. "C*m inside me, my alpha."

I should have known. I was an idiot who trusted her mate with all her heart. And this was the reward for my trust. I shook my head as my red hair tumbled down messily. I tried unsuccessfully to get the image out of my head. It just would not go away.

I had suspected that something was wrong for three months, but I ignored both my instincts and my pain. But now I have seen what I saw. I knew, and I couldn't unsee it. I gave everything to this man I called my mate and husband. I opened my heart completely, and now It felt like he had ripped it out of my chest.
