Today I said goodbye to my mom for the last time. This time it was different from all the times before this time I said it to her tombstone.

I knew this day was coming but I didn't think it was going to be right before my 19th birthday. She has been sick since we left my father three years ago he was not a good man but he used to be a good husband and father.

He used to be loving and caring till one day he came home and it was like he was a different man. he was no longer loving and far from caring.

Instead, he was a cold heartless abusive man that I didn't know.

I have seen him be cold to everyone but me and Mom. I don't blame him for that we were in the mafia and he was the boss so he had to be that's rule number one show no weaknesses.

I'm still standing in front of my mom's tombstone staring at it just thinking when I feel a hand on my shoulder when I feel it my first instinct is to flip them over my shoulder and that's exactly what I do they hit the ground with a thud.

"Fuck Arie it's just me" he grunts out

"Shit Damien are you ok I'm so sorry I didn't mean to," I rush out to my best friend who Is a want to be a bodyguard. I help him up and dust him off.

"Yeah I'm ok are you?" Why is he asking if I'm fine I didn't just get flipped over a shoulder.

"Arie you are all of 5′5 You are strong but that's it, all you did was knock the wind out of me I'm fine, I wasn't talking about that anyway, you have been standing here for an hour," he says with worry in his tone and it's all over his face.

I have been best friends with him since we were five he was in my father's mafia with me he left when me and my mom did.

he saw what was going on and helped us out, I was about to reply to what he said when we heard gunshots "fuck" I said while we ducked for cover and got our guns out we might not be in the mafia anymore but we still carry and go with our training. It's in our blood we have been training since we turned 8 and still do just not the same way.

"Well I think you might need to change those flight plans Arie," he says with a chuckle "the fuck I do," I say and look to see how many people there are, soon as I look there was a bullet that zipped past my head.

I look at Damien laughing "You're crazy," he said laughing with me "You know you love me, there are 4 men two on the right and two on the left and can you guess whose men they are" After I said this I yelled "you missed bitches"

" you are right I do love your crazy ass and let me guess it's your dear old father's men so shocked, are you done messing with them so we can get this over with I have a date with my soon-to-be husband."he says with sarcasm I just stick my tongue out at him and laugh"what a party pooper" I count to three and we start to shot back I don't waste bullets I have great aim.

"When am I going to meet your soon-to-be husband?"I asked and looked over at him and he was smiling.

I just really want to meet him he makes my best friend so happy.

"I don't know there are still some stuff that I need to tell you about him and I don't know how you're going to feel about it, I just have to find the right time. He said a little hesitant.

"I don't care what he does I just want you to be happy and he makes you happy that's all I care about, there's no time like the present right?"I say

I shoot the two on the right in between the eyes and watch them drop that's so satisfying I know I'm deranged how could I not be my father is a mafia boss, I have been killing and torturing people since I was 12.

I take the two men down "There goes two birds" I look over to the men on the left and see they are dead.

I hear my name but it sounds like someone said it in pain I look down and my heart stops he's on the ground, Damien is on the ground with blood coming out of his shoulder and chest,

I bend down to him with tears in my eyes I can't lose him too "How bad is it I can't l-lose you too" I say with a stutter and hear more cars shit this is bad.

"Hey look at me, Arie you need to go, go get on that plane and make a new life and new friends find the man of your dreams get married have beautiful Italian kids, and live your life just don't forget me, make sure I have a seat at your wedding and can you please tell Mikhail what happened to me, he is the Russian mafia boss I'm sorry I didn't tell you before,now go before they take you, I love you," he said with tears running down his face.

I take his Keys that he hands me with his engagement ring,I kiss him on the forehead tell him I love him and could never forget him and I don't care what or who he is you love him and run off to his black bulletproof 1964 gto.

I get in the car lock the doors, and start the car, I look over to see him getting put in a van and I know I'm not going to see him again.

my Hart feels like it's in a million little broken shards first my father turned into a man I didn't know, I had to leave my brother with my father, my Mother passed away and now my best friend since we were kids I don't know how much more I can tack.

I think then I drive off I was going to ship my car over to Italy where I'm moving but now I'm going to ship his.

I have to find a way to tell his fiance.
