Abandoned Billionaire Son

The sky is dark with the signs of descending of the rain. The streets are empty with the little number of people running towards their homes as the wind blows stronger and stronger as the time goes by, pushing all of the dust away on the road by force while some people are at home with their family.

The windows bumps side by side with the pressure of the wind, followed by the howling sound of the wind passing through the window as Victor and Erika are at the dining room watching the windows bumping.

Victor stands up from his chair and goes to the dining room’s window, with the intention of closing it, leaving Erika sitting on her chair as she waits for her husband so that they can eat their meal together.

“It looks like the rain is going to be huge today.” Erika says.

Victor grunts as he pulls the window inside the house, closing it with it’s lock.”Yeah. I think there is going to be a huge rain tonight.”

At the time Victor finishes closing the window inside the dining room, he then returns back to his chair, pulling it from behind and sits down.

“Okay. What is new today?” Victor asks.

“I have prepared for you some delicious meals which I think you might like it.” Erika answers while showing her husband plates on the top of the table with her hand.

Victor pulls his chair forward and opens one of the dishes on the top of the table, sniffing the smell of the scent of the food, wiggling his eyebrows as he looks at his wife.

“This smells good. What flavors did you apply on the food this time?” Victor asks.

“The same flavors that I always use everyday on the food” Erika answers.

“Okay. Lets starts eating then”

Erika and Victor are at their chair, holding their forks with their hands as they eat their meals at the dining room, surrounded by the bright lights everywhere at the dining as the meals goes on.

"Darling how is the business today?, I can see you look so exhausted today compared to other previous days?" Erika asks, looking at her husband in the eyes as she sticks her fork on her food as the meal goes on, waiting for her husband’s reply.

"Well, today it was a little bit rough compared to yesterday," Victor sighs, looking at his wife as he drops down his fork besides the plate, resting his hands on his laps, "but I believe tomorrow we will be able to collect much profit since there is a lot of customers orders compared from today."

Erika takes a piece of a pineapple fruit and drops it on her tongue, chewing while looking at her husband in the eyes sitting opposite hero. "It is normal darling. Maybe tomorrow is going to be your day that you are going to sell more. you never know" Erika says.

“Yeah, you are right about that. Thanks for your words of encouragement. I really needed them at the moment”

"Aww!, that is so sweat of you," Erika says, looking at her husband with a goofy smile on her face. "I'm your wife and it's my duty to encourage you so that you can become the best version of yourself."

"Thank you."

"Don't mention it." Erika replies.

Erika and victor proceeds talking to each other, discussing about the things that they are going to do next concerning their future plans and what they are going to do next in order to fulfill their business goals this year. Erika and Victor before, they had a baby girl who goes by the name of Ella but unfortunately she is no longer with them after she decided to escape with her boyfriend Matthew far away from home while she was still in high school.

“D.K.-D.K.-D.K-.D.K.-D.K.” The sound of the door knock reaches inside the dining room, causing Victor and Ella’s ears to wiggle, perking with full attention as they both looks at each other.

Erika whispers with a frowned face “Who is it?”

Victor shrugs his shoulder and shouts at the person outside the house “Who is it?”

“D.K.-D.K.-D.K.-D.K.-D.K.” The door is knocked again from the outside.

“I think the person knocking the door outside cannot hear us well while we are here, why don’t you go at the door and check who it is.”

Victor nods “Yes you are right. You got a point”

Victor stands up from his chair and moves aside as he prepares himself to go to the door in order to check on the person knocking the door. Before victor leaves the dining room, heading on his way to the sitting room in order to check on the person knocking the door, suddenly the door is opened, followed by the creaking sound of the door echoing inside the house.

Ella furrows her eyebrows, wondering who might the person opening the door while her heart pounds fast, looking at Victor while questioning herself on what is going on “ Victor, is it a thief?” Erika whispers.

Victor shushes Erika, pressing his finger on the middle of his lips as he gazes straight on her face. "Don't say anything, keep quiet,” Victor whispers “Let's find a way first of working on this issue before jumping into conclusion."

Erika nods with agreement “Okay.”

As Victor and Erika are talking to each other inside the dining room, planning on what to do in order to face the person who has entered inside the house. Suddenly the clicking sounds of the shoes are heard inside the house, capturing both Erika and Victor attentions.

Erika stands up from her chair, following Victor from behind as he walks heading towards the sitting room while her whole body trembles with fear, shuffling her legs as she holds Victor’s arm. When Erika and Victor arrives at the sitting room, they all paused, looked shocked and surprised seeing their daughter Ella standing in front of them with her baby on her arm.

"Ella, is that you?," Erika asks, her mouth wide open, trying to hold up her hot tears from dropping down on her face since she didn't expect that her daughter would have returned back home someday.
