Steamy Affairs (in love with my CEO)

Gina walks into a room filled with different personalities. This must be the waiting room, she thought to her self. In not less that fifteen minutes a lady on suit walks in from the inner room holding a white file.

Regina Donaldson? You are next.

Quickly Gina stands and adjust her red gown before following the young lady into another office. She seems nervous enough to see the sweat dropping from her chin. This was her sixteenth job interview since she finished her service, the rest had always been a failure.

"Miss? I asked you seat."

Breaking off from her thoughts she adjust the chair and then sits.

"In your resume, it states that you do not have a job experience in this field."

"Yes sir"

"Since when did you finish your degree?"

"That would be about seven years ago sir."

The young man at the other side of the table takes a short glance at her before looking back at what his holding.

"You are hired."

"Eh, you mean..."

"Do you want the job or not?"

"Yes sir I do"

"Meet with the young lady who walked you in, she'll tell you when to start and how to dress."

Gina takes a quick look at her gown before standing up to leave. She almost runs out the door but tries to comport her self. She doesn't need to be stupid even before starting work.

With all round joy written on her face Gina greets everyone who passes by while on her way to work. She's ready to start a things on a new page and tear off the old pages. If only she knew what would come out of her new found job turned lover. She settles down and begins to sort out the dusty files from the desk drawer. Things would sure work out for her starting from this point.

"Hello Missy."

A calm voice breaks her off from her thoughts. Gina looks above her to see a lady with a very beautiful face and stature. Her skin shone like a polished glass and her lips spoke of a nice colored lipstick. Every one who works at her new place had this one peculiar thing about them, they all dressed in class, all beauty and glamour.

"Hi, I am Gina."

Gina said smiling with both eyes and lips.

"Nice to meet you Gina, I am Ella. I am to be your dress coach, I believe Divine had told you about me."

"Sorry but who's Divine?"

"Ohh sorry my bad. The lady who was here with you during your interview."

"Oh that's true, she did tell me about you."

"Now I get why I was called in a hurry to come fix you up. No offense but you look like a sniff in this clothes of yours. Come with me I need to get you some clothing and perfume, you need to smell so lovely like your pretty face."

Ella said taking the lead out of the office with Gina following behind. Well if the company was to pay for the dresses which she would be putting on from henceforth, who f*cking cares.

In a short while they both arrive at a boutique. Ella is quickly attended to with much respect. Some clothes are picked up and Gina goes into the dressing room to check if she fits into them. Some shoes and perfumes are picked out of Ella choice. In some minutes the both are out and in the car.

"I am sorry to ask but why do I need a change of dress?"

Well, it's an instruction given to me from the boss. He has great taste and would also want his workers have same taste as him. You don't have to worry all expenses are on the company's neck, all you have to do is to be productive. Simple."

"Oh I see, the boss is definitely a wealthy man."

Gina is replied with a strong silly laughter from Ella, this makes her begin to feel like a fool.

"Yes he is wealthy, I mean supper wealthy. This man has power and money and gets whatever he wants with a clique of the finger."

A man on suit steps down from a car as he opens the back door for another man who steps out in a much expensive suit, he's on a phone call. What ever he and the person on the other hand is discussing shows that he just returned from a long trip about three days ago. The front door gets opened for him as he walks into the office building where everyone seem to freeze at a spot in awesome terror. A young man hurriedly rushes to offer him a cup of coffee and take his brief case from him. There are whispers amongst the workers as he walks past each of them without regarding their presence. In a short while, he gets to his personal office which is opened by someone and then settles down.

"Get me Ella."

In a very deep voice he commands."

"Sir she's still yet to be back."

Looking sternly at the young man standing before him he ask again.

"Where has she been?"

"She went out about an hour ago with the new employee."

"What new employee? I wasn't told anything about that."

"I am sorry sir, but Charity resigned few weeks back and..."

"I thought it right to get a new employee to fill up the gap."

Ella says while walking into the office. She stands cross legged and signals that the young man leaves, which he does almost immediately.

"You never told me you'd be coming to work today, Kingsley."

"I believe I owe no one an explanation to my movement or do I?"

He says looking at Ella for some seconds.

"How good is she."

*Well she's a new bee and with time I believe she'll get everything in order."

"You know how dear this business is to me, no new bee should be working here."

"I promise you, you're going to love her when she gets everything in order. Perhaps you would love to see her I can get her for you."

"Whatever just make sure she's ok for the position."

"Is that a yes or a no?"

Ella ask fumbling the tip of her collar.

"I do not wish to meet with her."

"That's ok."

Ella says as she cat walks out of the office.

"Gina you can leave for home, you've worked enough for today."

Ella says while leaning on Gina's desk.

"I haven't even started anything duty for the past 4 hours."

"Well I believe you would be tired after today's shopping. You need to rest tomorrow is going to be so hectic for you."

"What's happening tomorrow?"

"The boss would be holding a general meeting."

Ella said as she walked out playing with the pen she had picked from Gina's table.

Gina sinks on her bed as she begins to replay today's episode in her head. This life is beautiful if you meet the right person and stay in the right place, she thought. Her phone begins to ring, she looks at the callers identity before turning it off. Above all things Gina cherished her mental health, she just came out of a heart destroying relationship and moved into a new city to start life afresh. She must do things right this time around as her recent Ex had given her a good break down on how to live a life without men and love.

Her relationship with Felix was to be a fresh starting point for her from her previous relationship. She saw everything about Felix as been good and worshiped him like a god. He gave her all she needed even without her working and made her feel like a queen but not untill things began to go south for him. First he lost his million dollar job and started behaving like he was having mental issues. He began abusing Gina physically and emotionally, he would lock her up for days, rape and beat the living daylight out of her and accused her of being the roots of his problem. Well that was some what true as Gina had gone to his office place to confront his boss who was his side chick and secret baby mama. This act of hers brought his office to the game of public mockery and he had to resign after being threatened by his bosses husband. It still amazes her how she was able to escape the beast called Felix.

This time around, Gina had promised herself never to be in a relationship untill she was ready to start bearing kids, she mustn't even be married. Two more calls from the same caller and she finally turns her phone on plane mode. She stands up and then goes to the mirror in front of her bed and mutters beautiful words of affirmation to her self, she needed it more at this point of her life. She had started this beautiful practice after watching some podcasts few months back and truly things began to work just right for her. Her new job was one of those things which she had spoken into existence.

Excuse me sir, I was here before you came and the line starts back there.

Gina says while giving the unbelief look and then turns to the cashier

Miss is this how you treat your customers?

I am sorry ma'm we'll attend to you in a short while

The cashier responds without giving Gina a look

But he's not even in a queue

Feeling irritated, Gina cleared her throat and begins to mumble some words in annoyance while checking on time. Finally, it was Gina's turn to order. She placed her order for a cup of hot chocolate and waits almost impatiently as the cashier prepares it for her. After a few minutes, the drink gets ready, and Gina turns around, only to bump into a man in a suit who is talking on his phone. In a moment of confusion, her hot chocolate spilled all over her dress.

Feeling agitated, Gina quickly turns to the man and say,

"Hey, watch where you're going!"

Taken aback by Gina's accusatory tone, the man in the suit retorted,

"Are you kidding me? You just spilled your drink on my shoe!"

Gina who is about to argue back stops immediately when two large men, who seemed like the man in the suit's bodyguards, stepped in between them, preventing her from getting closer.

The situation quickly escalates, and the coffee shop staff had to intervene to separate the parties and calm everyone down. After some apologies and reassurances, the incident is resolved, but it left Gina feeling shaken and embarrassed.

As she walks out of the coffee shop, Gina realizes that her gown is too bad to wear out. She stops a taxi and goes back to her place for a change of dress.
