Pamela got divorced by her husband after being unable to give him a baby in three years , he refuses to settle her after their divorce. Out of anger Pamela left and met with an accident,she had no money to treat herself from being deformed. Then someone came and offer her a deal which she see's as a way to revenge on her husband. Pamela returns to revenge on her ex husband but unfortunately they only got to realized how they have become a part of each other's life and wants to spend the rest of their lives with each other. But everything is far more complicated and have to stay far away from each other but the heart wants what it wants.
Chapter 1 DIVORCE
PAMELA's POV
I was sitting in the lecture hall, listening intently to the lecturer's words. Suddenly, the lecturer called on a student to answer a question, but my cell phone made a noise.
Looking down, I saw a text from my husband, Jason. It said, "Pamela, let's meet at the Western hall at 2:00 pm," the message read.
As I tried to figure out where the Western hall was and why it was significant, I couldn't help feeling hopeful that our meeting would resolve the issues in our marriage. I hoped Jason would realize that my inability to conceive was not intentional.
"I just hope, he is trying to make our marriage work again" I thought.
"Okay" I quickly replied and eagerly awaited the end of the lecture.
When the lecture finally finished, I gathered my things and checked the time - almost 2:00 pm. I didn't want to be late for our meeting at the Western hall, hoping it would mark a positive turning point in our relationship. Perhaps Jason might wants this marriage to work again just as I want it to work again. I thought.
We have been trying to get pregnant for almost three years of our marriage and he is getting impatient.
I understand he needs the baby to claim his father's inheritance just as it is stated in his late dad's testament.
It is written in his late dad's testament that before he takes over his dad's business , he has to be married and have a heir which we have been trying to do.
It's not like our marriage was a real one but I can't stand not completing my education too, it is important I make this work within the few three months time frame to the end of our marriage and baby contract.
The deal was a marriage and a baby in exchange for my education, I have come a long way in both my education and marriage, all I am trying to do is make it work.
I took my things to my toyota camry, a car he bought for me after our marriage so that I never get late to school.
I entered and quickly drive off to the hall. Within fifteen minutes I was already at the hall, I used the google map to locate the hall.
I pull up and look up to see what the hall is all about.I read it sign borda and it was a legal office.
My heart skipped. " Is he ......I stop and shake my head in disbelieve.
" No ,I don't want to think that way maybe he invited me here to extend our contract since I am yet to concieve"
I stopped the car engine from working then I got out of the car.I pick my sling bag and threw it over my shoulder and step out of my car. I shut the door behind and look ahead and saw my husband's maybach parked.
I walked up to him then anger began to build in me when I saw his mistress Freda beside him.
I wanted to turn back but then I thought of how important the marriage is to me than Freda.
I hate to see Freda because I have secretly fallen for Jason even though I wasn't meant to fall for him because it was in the agreement that fallin in love with him is at my own risk.
I approach him and greeted him. " Hi Jason" I greeted then Freda ruin the moment by opening her mouth to greet me.
"Hi Pamela" she smiles at me.
I hissed and turn to Jason. " You ask us to meet here"I said to Jason.
" Come with me" he says leading us towards one of the offices in the hall.
We walked into the office then I realized it was his lawyers office. Jason walks in and the Lawyer ask him to sit.
He also asks me to sit and I sat down. The lawyer looks through the pile of files on his table and didn't find the file then he pulls out his desk drawer and he brings out a file.
" Jason, this is the divorce document" he says giving it to him.
My heart skipped at the sound of the words Divorce and I didn't know when I called out the word Divorced again.
" Divorced? My husband , who already brings out a pen look back at me emotionlessly, he sign his part and pushed the divorced document to me to sign my part with a pen on it.
