FL is finally saved by the fighter who has feelings for her even though the whole rescue is planned by the ML himself and he kills every single person that hurt and tormented the FL and when they come back the fighter confesses his feelings for the FL. The ML is at earshot and is very angry. The fighter goes on to say that he doesn’t even love her anyway and would not be able to accept her because of his position. ML denies this, telling her of his feelings and that he was going to make sure the pack accepted her as his mate and Luna. Not wanting to lose her, the fighter tries to dissuade her but she loves the ML and doesn’t listen to him. ML’s brother challenges him again and he fights him and wins, sparing his life. Angry, his brother wants him to leave the pack but their other talks to him, addressing all the problems he has had with their family from childhood. Things are going smoothly between them until one day, the ML overheard a conversation between the FL and her sister. Her sister was telling her to forget her plan and come back home since her life was in danger in the pack house. Before she could tell her that she no longer cared about that plan and that she actually loved ML, he stormed him, angry and hurt at what he just heard. She tries to explain but he doesn’t listen to her. Eventually though, she’ll prove her love to him and he’ll forgive her and accept her. The ML and FL enter into a relationship full of hurdles because it’s hard for the pack to accept her. They then live happily and the pack slowly comes to accept her as their Luna as well, even the ML’s mother who was strongly against them from the start.
Chapter 1 ENCOUNTERING MY MATE
Leah POV
The winds were howling, the leaves rustling. I looked around to see the rogues not giving up as they kept running after me. My heart was pounding and my legs were beginning to hurt from the endless runs.
My anxiety knew no bound. I wasn't ready to die in the hands of these rogues. I had merely gone out to the woods to gather herbs, as instructed by the Beta, but what I didn't know was that I was slowly entering my trap.
I tripped over the branch stuck out on the road and right before I could get up to my feet, I wqs totally surrounded by the rogues with eyes staring down like predators.
"You will make a good meal!" One of the rogues commented and the moment he tried to use his claw, I watxhed him go flying towards the tree, as a huge black wolf come to my side.
His growl was loud and this seem to scare of the rogues, as they all moved back and would eventually run off.
I tried to take a better look at the wolf to realize it was a rather familiar presence. Alpha Caleb had come to my aid.
He shifted at the spot into his human nature and his gaze at my direction was unwavering. I didn't dare look him in the eyes. As my heart calmed down, I began to perceive a very beautiful scent of pine trees and it all came from one spot and from one person; Alpha Caleb.
I watched as he moved slowly to my direction, his aura soaking up the atmosphere and making it very intense.
"How are you my mate?" He asked with a growl.
His statement placed me in a state of shock. I was mated to the Alpha of my pack and it appeared that he didn't like it.
"We cannot be mates!" He stated. "You are just a mere girl, with a weakling wolf. You would ruin my reputation as Alpha."
His words struck my heart and dashed every glimpse of hope within. For that moment before he spoke, I was glad that I had been finally given a mate that is so powerful and I had began visualizing my position as Luna. It was clear he didn't approve it
"I Alpha Caleb Doherty of the Green Forest Park hereby reject you as my mate." He declared and turned around to leave, making me break down in tears.
As I sat down on the bare floor, staring into the pathway he had taken, I couldn't help but think my life had been a complete mistake.
Bring born into a low life family like mine, meant that I needed to fight every day to feed and survive in the pack. Everyone hated my family and my position as Omega msde thins worse, as I faced the most inhumane treatment from my pack members.
He can't just reject me! Who does he think he is? I am going to make sure to get him back to apologize and I didn't mind taking huge risks for it.
I gathered myself up from the ground and made my way back to the pack.
Upon reaching the pack, I was met with the familiar disdain and hate eyes that every Pack members gave at me. I was certainly the most hated person in the pack.
The moment I return back home, Jasmine was on the couch and all I did was run into her arms breaking down in tears.
"It's okay Leah, we will be fine." I didn't have to explain to Jasmine, before she could understand what was wrong with me. We were both vicitims of hate in the pack.
"He rejected me!" I revealed.
"Who rejected you? Your mate?" Jasmine asked.
"Yes, Alpha Doherty is my mate. He saved me from the hands of the rogues and went on to reject me. I am completely messed up Jasmine." I squeezed myself into hee arms seeking the comfort she always gave.
"It's alright Leah, you need to understand that it is not always the end of the road. You will be fine my darling." Her words brought me peace.
"So what are you going to do now?" Jasmine questioned.
"I actually don't know." I replied, trying to wipe out her tears.
"Do you love him though?" Jasmine questioned.
"Listen, I don't know about anything else, but there is one thing i will tell you. I want to become a Luna and I am willing to do anything to escape this current hate I get from everyone at the pack." I explained, having being ushered to a seat
"Strong words Leah." Jasmine commented. "Being your twin sister, you know I want the best for you. Which is why I have a great idea."
I turned to look at her sister. She has always known Jasmine to have a sharp mind.
"You can try and find a job that gets you closer to the Alpha. Atleast if there is any sort of miracle that would come out of it, he could reconsider his decision." Jasmine explained.
While I sat down in that moment, processing the suggestion that has been made by Jasmine, I realized she might actually have a point. If there was one way to get back to the pack mansion and atleast connect with Alpha Caleb was getting a job.
"I think it's a great idea." I remarked.
"So you are doing it?" Jasmine enquired.
"Yes and I am starting immediately." I stood up and while I was about stepping into the room to change into something better, Jasmine called me back.
"You know Dad and Mom might not like this yeah?"
I was at the point of my life where I had realized my dream. It may had come in the wrong way, but I was determine to become a Luna.
"I don't care anymore Jas, all I want to do is simply become a Luna." I said and walked away, before she could say anything else.
