Mason is the Alpha heir of a wealthy wolfpack, while Suri is a humble Omega. They met in junior high school, with Mason initially approaching Suri out of curiosity, progressing from bullying to being attracted to her. They fell for each other in their naive years, but due to their inexperienced emotions, Mason couldn't accept that he had feelings for a lowly Omega. He chose to flee, leading to Suri becoming disabled, infertile, and eventually dropping out of school. Over a decade later, a chance encounter reunited them. Mason, unwilling to miss the opportunity, resorted to force to pursue Suri. After experiencing some sweet moments together, Suri discovered Mason's deceitful behavior and decisively left him. However, Mason refused to let go of the relationship, resorting to coercion to be with Suri. Eventually, Suri escaped, and Mason, realizing his mistakes, attempted to win her back, only to find that he could no longer earn Suri's love. ***** Mason grabbed her chin and spoke harshly, "Suri, what's wrong with you? We've been arguing about this trivial matter for a whole month. What's wrong with me getting married? Did I chase you away? I told you that we'll be the same as before. Just be with me and I'll treat you well. Why do you have to make such a fuss about this? I'm the Alpha of my wolfpack and I'll have to get married sooner or later. Can you give birth to a son for me? You're just an Omega who lost fertility. Apart from me, who else would want you?" Suri's eyes turned red. She thought to herself, "I truly love you. If you want to marry someone else, do you expect me to just act like everything is okay and continue to be with you?" With tears in her eyes, she asked, "Can I also get married then?" Mason was taken aback and then exploded, "Nonsense! If you dare think about it, I'll break your legs first!" Suri choked up and said, "You can get married, but I can't. Why?" Mason was momentarily speechless. "What did I mean to you? You treat me like a slave. Mason, you don't have genuine feelings for me. Don't force me. I don't want to see you again." Suri looked at the face she had once loved so much and felt heartbroken. She couldn't help but think about how everything began back then.

Chapter 1 Would he be that arrogant werewolf

"Suri, come here."

Suri was adding salt to the pot. When she heard the voice of Lucus, she quickly responded, put the salt in the pot and then turned around.

The restaurant had been opened for only three months, and the kitchen utensils were new and shiny. The bright sunlight reflected on the silver cabinet door, making Suri’s fair face more radiant, and even the thin sweat on the tip of her nose was shining.

She wiped the sweat off her face and asked, "Lucus, what's wrong?"

Lucus pointed at the male werewolf next to her and said, "Tavish, take it." then he said to Suri, "come with me."

Suri handed the spatula to Tavish, turned on the tap and washed her hands. She walked over nervously.

"Suri, you're so lucky this time," Lucus said as he led her out.

Suri was confused and followed him unhurriedly. "Lucus, I don't understand."

"Today, Rutger came here to receive a distinguished guest, and even our boss went to accompany him. That distinguished guest praised you for your cooking. He is going to hold a party in Victoria Harbor next month, and the chef hasn't been decided yet. He wants to talk to you about it."

Suri was shocked. She remembered that the chefs she worked with before in the restaurant also had the opportunity to be invited by the rich to prepare the banquet. Sometimes the chefs met generous clients, and the salary they got was equal to the salary of several months in the restaurant. It was really a windfall. She had never had such a chance because she was inexperienced.

She was so excited that her face turned red and her heart beat fast.

Lucus looked at her with a smile. "You're so lucky. You've just been transferred from the headquarters for less than a month. Come in and change your clean clothes and wash your face. Hurry up."

Suri nodded and went to the cloakroom. When she was about to open the door, she remembered and turned around. "Lucus, thank you."

Lucus waved his hand and said, "go get changed first."

Suri hurried in, took out the washed uniform with fragrance and changed it. Then she splashed water on her face. The smell of oil and smoke from the kitchen seemed to have faded a lot.

As soon as they got out of the room, Lucus led her to the private room. On their way to the private room, he exhorted, " Suri, I know you are not good at expressing yourself. Don't talk too much later. Just answer whatever they ask you."

  Suri nodded quietly, "okay."

"Remember, after you enter the room, you should first say hello to our boss, and then the host, Rutger. You may often hear of him, but you haven't seen him. He is bald and wearing a blue shirt. On his left side is the distinguished guest, Mason. He is very young and looks like a movie star. Do you understand?"

  "Okay."

"Thank you, Lucus." Suri nodded gratefully.

They walked to a private room and Lucus gently knocked on the door.

The boss's voice came from inside, "come in."

Lucus opened the door and led Suri in.

When Suri saw that there were nearly ten people around the table, she felt dizzy, and her mind went blank in an instant. Even though the central air conditioner blew the room cold, she was still nervous and sweated.

She was a bit of autistic. She seldom spoke. As an Omega, being watched by so many male werewolves, she was so scared that her legs were soft, and her tongue was knotted.

  Lucus pushed her.

It was not until then that Suri came back to her senses. She found her boss first and whispered to him, "Hello, boss." then she said to Rutger in a blue shirt, "Hello, Rutger." Then she continued to look for the young man, who looked like a movie star.

When Suri saw Mason, her heart skipped a beat, as if someone had punched her hard on the chest.

He had a very handsome face, smooth forehead and tight skin.

She lowered her head in panic.

It was too similar. Would he be that arrogant werewolf? It had been more than 10 years, but his name was also called Mason.

Lucus was so anxious that he hurriedly touched her waist from behind, reminding her that it was time to say hello to Mason.

Suri came to her senses and greeted, "Hello, Mason."

Everyone at the table looked at her with interest.

The owner of the restaurant was very happy and teased, " Suri, the air conditioner is not cold enough. Look at your red face."

Everyone at the table burst into laughter.

Lucus also smiled and said, " Suri is beautiful and good at cooking, though she is an Omega. She is just too shy to talk to strangers. Please don't mind."

In the werewolf society, Omegas enjoyed the lowest social status. Most of them could only do low-paying physical labor because most of them couldn't receive good education. Therefore, Suri cherished her current job very much.

Obviously, Rutger drank too much and teased loudly, " Suri is different from other cooks. She cooks so many delicious foods every day while her figure is so slim. How can you keep fit? Can you share it with me?"

Suri's face was so red that she didn't dare to raise her head. Others began to talk about how thin they were when they were young, and how they got fat later. Everyone's attention was shifted from her.

Suri breathed a sigh of relief as soon as she was out of the spotlight. But before she could catch her breath, Mason opened his mouth. His voice was full of masculine charm, very pleasant to hear. His voice was not loud, but everyone quieted down as soon as he spoke.

"Suri, you look so young. I didn't expect you to cook such delicious food."
