Alpha Valdo emerged from the steaming bathroom, droplets of water still clinging to his chiseled physique. As he wrapped the plush towel around his waist, his gaze fell upon the figure lying amidst the rumpled sheets - his wife, Selena, utterly exposed and vulnerable. A flicker of uncertainty crossed his features. "Selena, what are you still doing here?" he asked, voice laced with a hint of bewilderment. She propped herself up on one elbow, her raven hair cascading over alabaster skin. "We're married, my love," she replied, a trace of confusion in her tone. "I thought we might... continue where we left off." Alpha's expression hardened as he turned away. "That was a mistake," he said coolly. "I was simply...indulging a momentary desire, nothing more." His eyes refused to meet hers as he spoke, a glimmer of regret flickering within their depths. Selena's heart plummeted, shattered by his callous dismissal of their union - the bond they had forged, the promises they had made. She was no mere plaything, but the woman he had vowed to cherish. Yet now, he treated her as if she were no more than a common whore, unworthy of his affection. Silently, she gathered the bedsheet around her trembling form and fled the room, leaving Alpha alone with the weight of his cruel words and the anguish he had inflicted upon his beloved.

The Rogue Prince Chapter 1 One night together means nothing

Alpha Valdo Dawson's POV

I left my fancy office in one of the tallest buildings in town. I own the whole building. When I got in the elevator, one of my neighbors was already inside. She's a woman in her 40s, but she's really good in bed. She's the only woman I've slept with more than three times.

Her fancy mansion is very close to my castle-like home.

She told me she has a husband, and she asked me to keep our secret affair quiet, which was fine by me. I didn't want any commitments and wasn't interested in chasing women. She knew that if she caused trouble, I would tell her husband everything. Especially that I discovered her husband is my beta.

She started getting a bit clingy though. She kept showing up everywhere I went and calling/texting me all the time. This was starting to mess up our sexual relationship. So I had decided to end things with her by the weekend.

But here she was, standing in front of me in the elevator. I felt she deserved what was coming, but part of me wondered if I should give her one last round of sex for old time's sake.

Honestly, I'm only in my early 30s, but I look very manly next to any woman, even a 40-year-old like her. I didn't get bored of her body, but I worried she might cause a scandal. She was always asking for more.

The elevator doors closed and she wrapped her arms around my neck, licking her lips. I frowned and pushed her hands off me. "What now? I told you not to come here!" I said sternly.

She pushed her hands inside my shirt and said in a sexy voice, "but I've missed you. I want you to have sex with me, right here."

I raised my eyebrows and rolled my eyes. "What? Here? Now? This is an elevator!"

She shrugged and stood on her tiptoes, licking the corner of my mouth slowly. With a loud moan, she said, "You taste good, daddy. I want more." She then pulled my hand between her legs, showing me she wasn't wearing any underwear.

I slapped her private area gently. "You're a bad woman. You need punishment," I said, before leaning down and biting her lips roughly. I flipped her around and pushed her against the wall, pulling up her dress and spreading her butt cheeks wide. "Daddy will punish you now, you bad girl," I whispered in her ear.

She seemed to enjoy my touch, and I could feel how wet she was, craving my penis. I couldn't blame her husband for not satisfying her - even if he had sex with her daily, it would never be enough. She needed a big penis like mine.

I continued touching and grabbing her roughly, until I noticed she hadn't pushed the emergency stop button. I did it myself so no one else would use this elevator. I ripped her dress and squeezed her breasts aggressively. "Girl, I'll have sex with you until your private area bleeds. Or should I do your butt first?" I growled, licking her neck.

She moaned excitedly and begged me to just have sex with her however I wanted. I pushed three fingers into her private area, moving them in and out roughly. Even though I was tired, I couldn't resist this woman.

I pulled my fingers out and pushed my penis into her butt instead.

She winced in pain, but I ignored her pleas to go slower. I was too busy trying to forget about my love interest by taking out my frustrations on her. I had sex with her hard, pulling her hair and cursing at her.

Eventually, I turned her around and entered her private area. She moaned in pleasure. I leaned down and bit her nipples as I pounded her. Her screams filled the elevator.

But when I was close to climaxing, I couldn't do it. All I could think about was my love. I couldn't bring myself to finish inside her. I just pushed her away.

She tried to get me to let her give me oral sex, but I had no interest. I just pushed the button for the parking lot and stormed out, telling her I never wanted to see her face again. "If you dare show up in front of me again, I'll tell your husband."

I warned her and I left, intending to go take her virginity that night.

Selena Pov

I was completely shocked when I found out I was six weeks pregnant. I couldn't believe it! How did this happen? Now I don't know what to do.

Should I tell Alpha Valdo about this? Will he refuse to divorce me because of the baby? I don't think so. He'll probably think I'm using the child to manipulate him.

Feeling frustrated, I quickly put the ultrasound report in my bag and left the hospital. Outside, I saw a fancy car called a Maybach with one window slightly open. I could vaguely see an attractive man sitting in the driver's seat with a cold expression.

A handsome man in a luxury car would definitely get a lot of attention from people passing by. Alpha Valdo Dawson was rich and good-looking. After many years, I had gotten used to people staring at us. Ignoring them, I got into the car's front seat.

When the man, who had his eyes closed, felt me getting in, he furrowed his brow. Without opening his eyes, he asked in a deep voice, "Is everything taken care of?"

"Yes!" I nodded and handed him the contract I had signed with the hospital. I said, "Dr. Thomson sends his greetings to you." I had planned to sign the contract on my own at the hospital today, but I ran into Alpha Valdo on the way. I don't know why, but he offered to drive me, saying it was on his way.

"You'll be in charge of the case," Alpha Valdo said in a brief manner. He was always a man of few words. Instead of taking the contract, he gave me those instructions before starting the car.

I nodded and stayed silent. It seemed like obeying him and following his orders were the only things I knew how to do.

The car drove towards the pack center. It was already evening, and I was confused about where he was going, if not back to the Castle. Even though I was puzzled, I didn't ask him anything. I just remained quiet.

The ultrasound report was on my mind, but I didn't know how to bring it up. I was torn about what to do, so I glanced at Alpha Valdo from the corner of my eye. As usual, he had a cold and distant aura, with his sharp and ruthless gaze focused straight ahead.

"Alpha Valdo!" I blurted out. My palms started to sweat a little, probably because I was nervous.

"Speak," he said without showing any emotion.

He always treated me like this. After a few seconds, I relaxed a bit and took a deep breath. "I'm..." pregnant.

I wanted to say the second word, but his phone suddenly rang, cutting me off.

"Camilla, what's wrong?" Some people only show their gentle and loving side to one person.

Alpha Valdo's gentle side was only for Camilla Robert. It was clear from the way he talked to her over the phone.

Camilla's words made Alpha Valdo suddenly hit the brakes, and he spoke to her in a soothing tone, "Alright. I'll be there soon. Don't go anywhere, okay?"

When the call ended, his icy expression returned. He looked at me and ordered sharply, "Get out."

There was no room for discussion in his order.

This wasn't the first time he had kicked me out of the car. So, I nodded and kept the words I wanted to say to myself. I opened the car door and got out.

My marriage with Alpha Valdo was a result of a twist of fate, but there was never any love involved. Alpha Valdo already had Camilla in his heart, so my existence was unnecessary. Maybe even an obstacle.

Two years ago, Alpha Valdo's grandfather, Hamilton Dawson, had a heart attack. While he was in the hospital, he forced Alpha Valdo to marry me. Alpha Valdo reluctantly agreed for his grandfather's sake. During those two years, Alpha Valdo ignored me except for that. Now that his grandfather had passed away, he couldn't wait to get a lawyer to draw up divorce papers for me to sign.

It was already dark when I returned to the Castle. The huge house felt empty, like a haunted house. Maybe because of my pregnancy, I didn't feel like eating. So, I went straight to my bedroom to wash up and go to sleep.

In my sleepy state, I heard a faint sound of a car engine turning off in the courtyard. Is Alpha Valdo back? Shouldn't he be with Camilla?

I went to the City Clerk’s office for a routine copy of my marriage license to finalize a trust fund audit. I expected a simple piece of paper, but the clerk’s pitying look told me my entire life was a lie. "The license was never finalized, Ms. Oliver. In the eyes of the state, you are single." The three-hundred-guest wedding at the Plaza and the Vogue features meant nothing. My husband, Gray Cooley, had intentionally filed the documents with a "procedural defect" so he could discard me without a legal divorce. Moments later, an iCloud invite titled "Our Little Secret" popped up on my screen. It was a photo of my best friend, Brylee, holding a positive pregnancy test at our Hamptons estate. Gray’s text to her was the final blow: "Happy anniversary, babe. This baby is the best gift. Once the trust unlocks today, we’re done with the charade." I soon discovered they were even stealing my career, reassigning my architectural masterpiece to Brylee while preparing my eviction notice. Gray's mother called me a "barren mule" in a leaked recording, mocking the infertility I suffered after saving Gray’s life in a construction accident. I wasn't a wife; I was a three-year placeholder used to secure his inheritance. How could the man I bled for treat me like a disposable prop? How could my best friend carry his child while pretending to comfort me through my darkest moments? The betrayal burned until it turned into a cold, hard stone of fury. I didn't cry. Instead, I walked into the penthouse of the Barretts, the Cooleys' most powerful rivals. I signed a marriage contract with Kane Barrett, the man the tabloids called the "Beast of Wall Street." "I want a wedding," I told his father, my voice steady and lethal. "Bigger than the one I had with Gray." If they wanted me gone, they would have to watch me become the woman who owns their world.

The heavy iron gates of the Wilderness Correction Camp groaned as they released me after three years of state-sponsored hell. I stood on the dirt road, clutching a plastic bag that held my entire life, waiting for the family that claimed they sent me there for "rehab." My brother, Brady, picked me up in a luxury SUV only to throw me out onto a deserted highway in the middle of a brewing storm. He told me I was a "public relations nightmare" and that the rain might finally wash the "stink" of the camp off me. He drove away, leaving me to limp miles through the mud on a snapped ankle. When I finally dragged myself to our family estate, my mother didn't offer a hug; she gasped in horror because my muddy clothes were ruining her Italian marble. They didn't give me my old room back. Instead, they banished me to a moldy gardener’s shack and hired a "babysitter" to make sure I didn't embarrass them further. My sister, Kaleigh, stood there in white cashmere, pretending to cry while clinging to her fiancé, Ambrose—the man who had once been mine. They all treated me like a volatile junkie, refusing to acknowledge that Kaleigh was the one who planted the drugs in my bag three years ago. They wanted to believe I was broken so they wouldn't have to feel guilty about the "wellness retreat" that was actually a torture chamber. I sat in the dark of that shed, feeling the cooling gel on the cigarette burns that covered my arms, and realized they had made a fatal mistake. They thought they had erased me, but I had returned with a roadmap of scars and a hidden satellite phone. At dinner, I didn't beg for their love. I simply rolled up my sleeves and showed them the price of their silence. As the wine spilled and the lies crumbled, I sent a single text to the only person I trusted: "I'm in. Let them simmer." The hunt was finally on.

I arrived at the hotel with Julian's favorite takeout, ready to surprise my fiancé before our big merger. But the moment I swiped the keycard, the silence of the hallway felt heavy and wrong. Inside, a red-soled stiletto lay on the marble floor-the same one I'd watched my best friend Lila try on at Saks last week. Through the cracked bedroom door, I watched Julian's back arch as Lila looked me straight in the eye and smiled, wrapping her legs tighter around him to mock my heartbreak. I fled to the penthouse to hide, only to find Grafton, Julian's "crippled" brother, waiting in the dark. To my horror, the man who was supposed to be paralyzed stood up from his wheelchair, gripped my chin with cold fingers, and forced me to sign a contract that gave him control of my family's shares. He knew about my mother's secret medical bills and used them to buy my silence, effectively turning my life into a calculated game of corporate chess. The betrayal tasted like acid, and the injustice of it all burned in my throat. My fiancé was a liar, my best friend was a thief, and the man now controlling my fate was a predator who had been faking his disability for years. I couldn't understand how everyone I trusted had turned out to be a monster. I was trapped between a man who cheated on me and a man who wanted to own me, with no way out and no one to turn to. But when Julian came looking for me, Grafton didn't hide; he stood tall, looming over me with a possessive glint in his eyes. "Help me destroy Julian," I rasped, realizing that to survive the Faulkner men, I had to become the most dangerous player of them all.
