All the secrets behind the deaths of his parents are slowly revealed, making Aiden even more eager to take revenge. Will Aiden succeed in avenging all his grudges so far? Or will it end badly?
"Aiden! Are you ready?" shouted Hans, who was sitting quietly on the living room sofa, waiting for his wife and son to finish getting ready.
"Yes, just a moment!"
Not long after Audrey and Aiden finally finished getting ready, both of them immediately came downstairs to Hans. Audrey looked elegant in her red dress, and Aiden was as usual. The five-year-old boy was cute and funny.
"Alright, we're leaving now," said Hans, holding the hands of the two and walking hand in hand out of the house.
On the way, laughter and smiles never ceased to accompany the little family, just because of Aiden's jokes and Hans' jokes. The journey in the quiet night was no longer lonely because of their laughter.
Ckittt...
All the laughter that was originally loud now instantly disappeared when Hans stopped the car suddenly.
"Hans! Who are they?" Audrey looked fearfully at the four masked men in front of their car.
Bang...
The gunshot made them tremble even more, especially Aiden, who was hiding in his mother's arms.
"Damn it!"
"Let me out! Whatever happens, you guys stay here!" Hans said in a panic, How could he not? The lives of the three of them were in danger now. Moreover, the criminals had shot the tires of his car.
Hans got out of his car and approached them all, trying to fight all four at once. He didn't care about his life, as long as the two people he loved in the world were safe.
While Audrey cried hysterically in the car, her eyes remained focused on her husband, who was badly beaten in front of her. Unable to think clearly this time, Audrey decided to get out to help her husband.
"Aiden! You wait here; mom wants to go to dad. Don't go out, ok?" Audrey said this with tears already welling up in her eyes.
"But mom--"
It was too late; Audrey had already walked out before Aiden could continue. All the little boy could do was sit helplessly in the car, his eyes a testament to his father's and mother's torture.
"Aaarggghh!"
Deg...
Aiden froze in place as he watched a penknife sink perfectly into his father's stomach. Aiden could see the thick red liquid oozing from his father's body, and Aiden's cry broke out at that moment.
As if the men weren't satisfied with Hans, now the knife that had been stuck in Hans' stomach. Aiden saw the thick red liquid oozing out of his parents' bodies.
Aiden didn't really understand what had happened, but the scene where the knife pierced his parents' skin was clearly recorded in his brain. Just imagine how devastated a five-year-old, innocent child would be to witness his parents being tragically murdered.
"A-dad! B-mother!" Aiden cried out as he saw his parents closed up tightly with red liquid all over them.
"Hahaha, are you happy, Rio? Now our archenemy is gone!"
"I'm so happy; Hans is dead!"
The sound of laughter boomed over Aiden's misery.
Aiden, who peered through the car window, faintly heard one name they mentioned. His hands clenched into perfect fists.
"When Aiden grows up! Aiden promises father, mother. Aiden will pay back what they did!" Aiden muttered, clenching his teeth.
"Daddy! Mom!" He shouted at the top of his lungs as one of them violently stomped on his father's chest.
One of them heard Aiden's shout and automatically saw him in the car. He strode over to the car, still with his mask perched on his face.
Aiden had no idea that one of them was approaching him; all he could do was curl up in the car seat with tears streaming down his face.
It seemed like the masked man wasn't satisfied with what he had just done after successfully opening the car. He pulled Aiden down and forcefully smothered him with the cloth that contained the anesthetic.
"Let go! You're useless--" Aiden wanted to rebel, but before he could escape, His consciousness slowly faded away.
The masked man took Aiden silently without his friends knowing, put him in a car, and took him somewhere.
"You're going to die, little boy," the man whispered with a ghastly smile.
"Arghhhh--"
"Huh...huh!"
"Damn it! It's just a dream."
The eighteen-year-old woke up from his sleep, freed from the nightmare he had been having ever since that incident. The same dream, so horrible.
Aiden pushed his hair back with his fingers, sweat pouring down his forehead. His breathing was labored, and his head felt very dizzy. He beat his head, not realizing tears were already flowing from his eyes. The tightness in his chest seemed to refuse to go away; his hands were clenched into perfect fists, and his jaw hardened.
"Arghhhh!"
Aiden slammed everything around him, venting his anger. His eyes gazed around the modest house he lived in; it had long felt lonely and empty.
"Damn it, I'll get revenge on all those people someday!" After muttering something like that, Aiden got up from his bed. He has to go to school now.
