Chapter 1 1

The sky was still dark when Joaquin and Sally returned to their camp. Almost no sound was heard except for the gentle footsteps of the pedestrians. Their bodies are tired from what happened in the warehouse, but nothing can stop them from continuing. The quiet night was full of tension; they know a bigger fight awaits them.

When they entered the camp, Marcos greeted them as if he had news. "Have we got what we need?" he asked while observing their tired faces.

Joaquin nodded. "Yes, but the next one won't be easy. Their operation is bigger than we expected." He took a deep breath and turned to Sally. "We have to decide how we are going to attack."

Sally leaned against the wall, thinking of possible actions. "We cannot let them continue. If they get more weapons, the whole region will surely be filled with violence. We cannot retreat now."

"What are you planning?" asked Hector, who was now standing at the edge of the table, holding the map of the syndicate.

"There is a way to stop them," Joaquin answered as he laid down the blueprint of the warehouse they entered. "We need to end this before they have a chance to move. We will devise a plan to destroy their remaining weapons and stop the approaching cargo."

"But how can we get in without being heard again?" Marcos asked while looking at the details of the information they gathered. "They will be more alert now. The invasion will not be easy."

Sally sighed before answering, "We need to find someone inside. We know someone who might be able to help from the inside. He will be our key."

---

The next day, the whole group gathered again. After several hours of discussion, they agreed to try to talk to George's former colleague Vincent, a former syndicate member who had defected from their group. Joaquin knew Vincent from previous operations, and they knew it could be an advantage to get his help.

"Vincent is our key," Joaquin said while going through the steps of their plan one by one. "He's the only one who knows enough about the syndicate's operations to give us an advantage."

"We can't be in a hurry," Sally warned. "If George finds out we're getting close to Vincent, he could be killed or forced to betray us."

"I know," answered Joaquin. "So we must act quickly and carefully."

---

In the middle of the quiet night, Joaquin and Sally go to a hidden bar where Vincent is said to be hiding. The place is dark and full of suspicious people. The sound of alcohol and the conversation of the drunken staff gave a strange tension to the surroundings.

When they saw Vincent, he seemed to notice them immediately. Their eyes met, but Vincent's expression didn't seem to change. He nodded as a sign that he was there to talk.

Joaquin and Sally approached, quietly sitting at Vincent's table. "We need you," Joaquin said calmly as he looked directly at Vincent.

Vincent smiled slightly, but his hesitation was clearly there. "You haven't come near me in a long time, Joaquin. Why now?"

"You know we can't show this kind of trust in anyone," Joaquin answered. "But we need your help. George has a plan to bring big weapons for his next move. We need to know the details of it."

Vincent stared deeply at Joaquin before he answered. "I know George's moves are big. But my help is not free."

"What do you need?" Sally asked, the tone of their conversation now becoming more tense.

"Protection," Vincent answered. "When I help you, you have to keep me away from all this. I can't go back to my old life."

Joaquin and Sally exchanged glances. They knew the danger that helping Vincent would bring, but they had no other choice. "You will get the protection you need," Joaquin replied. "But you have to be true to us."

"Listen," Vincent said as he lowered his glass. "A large shipment is arriving in two days. George's plan is to sell weapons to various regions through local leaders he holds. You must stop it before the weapons are completely distributed. "

---

The group moved quickly after the conversation. They return to their camp, carrying the important information that Vincent gave them. Everyone gathered again, and prepared the plan for the attack.

"The warehouse where they store the weapons has a secret entrance in the back," Joaquin explained as he laid out the plan. "We need to use a diversion so we can get in without being noticed."

"The most important thing here is that we act quickly," added Sally. "We can't let them react. We have to finish this before their men arrive."

---

In the middle of the night, their operation began. Again, the darkness of the night became their ally. Under the cover of darkness, the group slowly walked towards the warehouse. They follow the steps Vincent points out, constantly watching every corner to make sure they don't get caught.

As they neared the entrance, they heard the sounds of guards guarding the front. "Don't make any noise," warned Hector who was at the front of the group.

They quickly and carefully climbed a small fence behind the warehouse. They entered one by one, like a shadow passing through the dark passage. With every step, they knew they were about to step into enemy territory.

While inside the warehouse, they saw boxes of weapons arranged in the middle of the place. The silence of the night seemed to echo inside the building. But they cannot last long. They need to act quickly.

Joaquin took out a small explosive charge and placed it under a large box. "We're about to begin," he said as he readied the detonation.

Suddenly, they heard the footsteps of syndicate personnel from the entrance of the warehouse. The battle has begun.
