Let Me Go, Mr. Mafia Chapter 1 Let me

Vivian's POV

"Please, Father, don't let them take me away!" I begged, my voice shaking with fear.

My father stood still, his eyes fixed on me as the men dragged me away. My younger brother, Neil, grasped my hand, trying to hold on, but they pushed him aside.

"Someone, please call the police! I'm being kidnapped!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

One of the men, with a menacing glare, at me "What? Can't I talk?" I spat in his face, defiant.

They look nothing to being human because they look more like a bulldozer.

He raised his hand to hit me, but another man stopped him. "The boss said no harm, no scratches."

I struggled and kicked, but they held me tight. "Who is their boss? What does he want from me?" I thought, panic rising.

Why was everyone scared of him? Why wasn't anyone helping me?

As they forced me into the car, I thought of my mother. She wasn't healthy enough to handle this worry.

"I always thought the man I called Father was useless, but I never thought he'd be this heartless," I whispered to myself, tears streaming down my face.

Let me go please!, I pleaded, but they ignored me. They don't even do like I was inside the car.

The car sped away, leaving my family and life behind. As we reached the middle of the deserted road, I grew more fearful and desperate to escape.

"Stop the car, I need to use the restroom!" I pleaded.

They ignored me until I shouted again.

"Stop the car!"

They finally stopped, and one of them ordered, "Get out."

I crossed to the other side of the road, followed by one of the men. As I headed towards the bushes, he asked, "What's wrong?"

"I'm uncomfortable relieving myself with people around," I explained.

"What do you mean?" he asked again.

"I can't urinate with people watching," I repeated.

How does that affect you? He asked.

He really have a big problem, so you expect to ease myself infront of you? I asked

He grabbed my clothes, trying to drag me back to the car, but the other man intervened.

"Leave her alone," he said.

"What do you mean?" I asked, but before I could get an answer, one of the men whispered, "What if she tries to escape?" His companion replied sternly, "She can't."

I smirked, sensing an opportunity. As the first man stepped away from me, allowing me to enter the bushes, I pretended to bend down. When I noticed they weren't paying attention, I seized my chance and started running.

"She's getting away!" one of them shouted.

They chased after me, their footsteps pounding the ground. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me, my heart racing with fear. They didn't know I was a skilled runner; if they had seen my talents in school, I would probably be representing my country by now.

One of them grabbed my arm, spinning me around. "You think you can escape?" he sneered, raising his hand to slap me.

I struggled to break free, but he was too strong. Just then, the other man intervened.

"Let her go," he ordered. "The boss won't be pleased if she's harmed."

The man released me, and I seized the opportunity, kicking him in a vulnerable spot. I didn't hesitate; I took off running again, determined to escape.

I kept running, unsure of my destination, but driven by one goal: to escape from them. Once free, everything else would fall into place, and I could find my way back home.

"Stop, or I'll shoot!" one of them shouted.

But I didn't stop. Their boss had said I couldn't have a scratch, so they wouldn't dare harm me.

As I ran, I tripped on a stone and fell. "Ouch!" I cried out in pain.

Suddenly, I felt someone's presence in front of me. I sighed in frustration, thinking it was one of my pursuers, but the leather on his shoe was different from theirs.

I raised my head slightly to see who it was, but he wore a mask and gloves. The darkness made it impossible to see his face clearly, but I can see his piercing, he is have blue piercing.

I looked him up and down. "Who is he? What is he doing here?" I wondered.

No sane person would be here; I doubted he was human.

Desperate, I begged, "Please, save my life!"

But he stepped back.

I managed to stand on my toes when I heard the footsteps approaching. I hid behind him, pleading, "Save me!"

He shifted away, but I held on. "Please, save me!"

The men stopped, and to my surprise, they knelt and bowed.

"Come here," a cold voice said.

I breathed a sigh of relief. "I'm safe!"

So they have someone they are scare of, I thought smiling happily

But my joy was short-lived.

"Boss?" they whispered.

My heart sank. "I'm dead.

"Boss? Is he here?" I whispered.

"Don't tell me he's there, boss..." I whispered, my voice trembling.

I thought I was safe, but now I wasn't so sure. Had I walked into a trap? The man they called "Boss" stepped back, revealing a disturbing sight. The air filled with the pungent smell of blood.

I scanned my surroundings, wondering if someone was injured. The scent was unmistakable - human blood. My eyes searched frantically until they landed on his hand. Blood dripped from his gloves, sending a chill down my spine.

I retreated, fear gripping my heart. I moved back and turned to run away, but what I saw took my breath away.

Someone lay lifelessly on the ground, covered in blood. I looked at the body, then back at the man they called "Boss." Our eyes met, sending shivers down my spine.

I saw nothing but cold, calculating darkness in his gaze. His eyes seemed to bore into my soul, freezing my blood.

My heart racing, I tried to process the horror before me. Was this another victim, or someone I knew? The possibilities sent my mind reeling.

I stood at my mother's open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest's voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone-he brought Charla with him. He claimed she'd had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.

As I lay on the floor of our manor, bleeding out from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, I used my last ounce of strength to call my husband, Cole. I begged him for help, my vision blurring. But the only thing I heard was the clinking of champagne glasses and his mistress's giggle in the background. "Stop the drama, June," Cole snapped, his voice cold. "We're about to go on stage. Don't call again." He hung up, leaving me to die alone on the Persian rug while he accepted an award with another woman on his arm. I woke up in the hospital days later. My baby was gone. They had removed my fallopian tube. Cole finally arrived, smelling of expensive scotch and his mistress's perfume. He didn't hug me. He didn't cry. Instead, he leaned over my hospital bed, pressing his knee into the mattress until my fresh stitches tore open and bled. "You embarrassed me by calling an ambulance," he hissed. "My mistress, Alycia, says you're faking it. Clean yourself up." He left me bleeding again to go announce a $10 million donation to Alycia's "groundbreaking" medical research. I stared at the TV screen, numb. The research Alycia was taking credit for? It was mine. I wrote that patent years ago under a pseudonym. They thought I was just a poor, orphan housewife who needed Cole's money to survive. They had no idea I was actually a billionaire scientist hiding my identity. I pulled the IV needle out of my arm. A drop of blood fell onto the divorce papers I had been hiding. I didn't wipe it off. I signed my name right over it. Then I walked into the bank, reactivated my dormant account with $128 million, and bought the penthouse directly overlooking Cole's house. The mourning widow is dead. The avenger is born.

Betrayed Bride: Claimed By The Brother

I arrived at the hotel with Julian's favorite takeout, ready to surprise my fiancé before our big merger. But the moment I swiped the keycard, the silence of the hallway felt heavy and wrong. Inside, a red-soled stiletto lay on the marble floor-the same one I'd watched my best friend Lila try on at Saks last week. Through the cracked bedroom door, I watched Julian's back arch as Lila looked me straight in the eye and smiled, wrapping her legs tighter around him to mock my heartbreak. I fled to the penthouse to hide, only to find Grafton, Julian's "crippled" brother, waiting in the dark. To my horror, the man who was supposed to be paralyzed stood up from his wheelchair, gripped my chin with cold fingers, and forced me to sign a contract that gave him control of my family's shares. He knew about my mother's secret medical bills and used them to buy my silence, effectively turning my life into a calculated game of corporate chess. The betrayal tasted like acid, and the injustice of it all burned in my throat. My fiancé was a liar, my best friend was a thief, and the man now controlling my fate was a predator who had been faking his disability for years. I couldn't understand how everyone I trusted had turned out to be a monster. I was trapped between a man who cheated on me and a man who wanted to own me, with no way out and no one to turn to. But when Julian came looking for me, Grafton didn't hide; he stood tall, looming over me with a possessive glint in his eyes. "Help me destroy Julian," I rasped, realizing that to survive the Faulkner men, I had to become the most dangerous player of them all.
