Chapter 1 Avalia's Fame on Campus

The weather is so sunny this morning. Even though the rays are not yet hot, colleger have enlivened the campus. Among them there were those who had gathered to chat, and there were also those who were preparing to practice. Seen from afar, a girl is arranging books on her shelf.

"Avalia! I was looking for you, but you're still here," said Emily.

"Emily, I just came and decided to organize the books scattered in my cupboard," said Avalia.

"Just arrived, you say. Even though I've been waiting for you in the practice room for long, let's go there," Emily said, her voice firm.

Avalia nodded, she closed the shelf. She turned and headed towards Emily. They walked together towards the practice room. Along the campus corridors, Avalia could see several students joking around. She didn't care about that until they arrived at the practice room.

A room full of paintings and canvases. This spacious room is a place for artistic children to practice painting. Avalia quickly took her seat and faced a blank canvas that had not been written in the slightest.

She took a small brush to dab on the red paint in the palette. When Avalia was about to scribble the colour on the canvas, Emily called her name. Avalia suddenly stopped and looked at Emily.

"Soon we will learn how to express feelings in a painting that we make. I'm not sure if I can understand that," Emily said, she invited Avalia to talk.

"I also don't really understand the expressions in paintings. Maybe we can learn together," said Avalia, she gave a response to Emily.

"Yes to that, I agree. Maybe expressing feelings in paintings is a fun new thing to learn," Emily said, she gave the answer.

"Whatever you say. I will continue painting, for now don't bother me," said Avalia, she ended her sentence with a smile.

Emily nodded, she understood. After that, Avalia turned away. She directs attention to the untouched canvas. Her hands slowly began to draw scribbles, and began to even out the colors on the plain white canvas.

Avalia seemed to enjoy every scratch she made. Five minutes passed, the canvas in front of her had produced a painting of red flowers that looked so fresh.

Avalia added a touch of black to enhance the red flower painting. Black paint to cover the blank parts of the canvas. Avalia's hand strokes look so smooth. She was careful when perfecting the paintings she had made.

After finishing up to the last stroke, Avalia placed a small brush on the palette. She turned her attention to the painting in front of her. The painting looks so perfect, combination of red, green and black. The little red flowers look so perfect against the black.

"Finally I finishing this painting. One canvas in front of me has become beautiful because of this picture of red flowers," Avalia said, praising the beauty of painting she had made.

As soon as she heard Avalia's voice, Emily quickly turned around. She directed her gaze to the painting in front of Avalia. Emily immediately smiled broadly, she didn't expect that the painting Avalia made was so beautiful.

"Very beautiful. I didn't expect you to make such a vivid picture of red flowers," Emily said, she praised the painting that Avalia made.

"Yes, thank you. I didn't know if the red flowers I painted would end up being this beautiful," said Avilia, she gave a response to Emily.

Avalia then directed her gaze to the canvas in front of Emily. A painting depicting lotuses in a pond looks so real. Avalia spread a smile on her lips.

"But by the way, the painting you made is also good. Why did you draw a pond?" Avalia said, she changed the subject.

"I think the pool water is so cooling. So calm, that it doesn't even ripple," said Emily, she ended her words with a big smile.

"Maybe you just want peace. Therefore, you made that painting," Avalia said, she gave her opinion.

"Yes, I think so too. Lately I've been so tired of facing everyday life," Emily said, she showed her tired feeling.

Avalia nodded, she understood what Emily was saying. She could see the tiredness on Emily's face. The eyes no longer showed joy, they looked so sad. Avalia smiled, and put palette on the spanram.

"I think we just need to relax a little. There's nothing we need to rush, everything will be fine," Avalia said, she tried to calm Emily down.

"How about we go downstairs for a moment? Try looking for other views that aren't here," Emily said, she invited Avalia to go down to the ground floor.

"Okay. I also don't have any other planned here," Avalia said, she agreed with Emily's words.

Avalia stood up, then put her painting aside near the wall. Meanwhile, Emily was standing nearby. They walked together down the stairs. Until they arriving at the ground floor. Avalia could see that some of the crowd were colleger.

"Look there! They really fun to joke around with. Don't you want to join them?" said Emily, she was trying to make a joke at Avalia.

"I do not want. Right now I just want to walk with you, that's all," said Avalia, she directed her gaze at Emily.

"Yes, I agree. I think it's better if we head to the back garden. There is a lot of breeze there that can refresh our minds," Emily said, she agreed with Avalia's words.

Avalia no longer gave Emily an answer. But her footsteps continued to balance with Emily's movements. They had arrived at the backyard of the campus.

When we arrived at the campus backyard, the atmosphere became even busier. But Avalia didn't want to pay attention to it. She followed Emily to sit on a park bench. There they can enjoy a wider view.

Emily leaned back on the park bench. She directed her gaze to Avalia. But unfortunately, Avalia's attention was not focused on Emily.

"Can you see the boys there? They look so handsome with their ball game," said Emily, inviting Avalia to talk.
