The Tycoon Marriage Bargain Chapter 1 HIS PROPOSAL

<< GREECE ~ ATHENS >>>

"First time here?" The female passenger seated next to Olivia in the business class part of the plane ask.

"Yes, it's my first time" Olivia Thompson, a petite looking girl of twenty five answer, a smile curving her full round lips.

"For business?" The lady probe, trying to make small talk.

"No, I'm here to see my boyfriend. He was transferred to Greece two months ago, I tried to see him many times but my visa got decline. Luckily my sixth trial to get a visa was approve and so, here I am" Olivia told the lady, feeling at ease in her company.

"I hope you get to meet him and I also hope that you enjoy your stay in our country, Greece is one of the best" The lady said with pride.

The intercom buzz with an announcement for everyone to put on their seat belt for a safe landing.

It took half an hour for Olivia to leave the airport.

She smile as she take in the scenery, it's exactly how Frederick describe it to her.

If things go well and she ends up marrying Fredrick, she won't have any regret moving here to live with him.

Hailing a taxi, she got in gave the driver Fredrick address.

After paying the taxi driver, Olivia walk into a luxurious hotel wondering how Frederick is able to afford such place.

She had met Frederick while he was working at her brother's bar and in no time, Frederick had swept her off her feet, making her head over heels.

After months of dating, Frederick got the job offer from Greece.

It was quite a strain having to make their long distance relationship work but recently, Frederick have been avoiding her and it's one of the reason she decided to come to Greece.

"Good day miss and how can I help you?" The receptionist ask the moment Olivia approach her desk.

"I am looking for..."

"If you are hoping to book a room, then I will have to turn you down. All our rooms are filled up" said the receptionist.

"I am not here to book a room. I am here to see Frederick Willow"

"Oh, you are one of the groom guest, then I better escort you to the hall where the wedding is taking place"

"I think you've got it wrong. I am looking for Frederick Willow not a groom" Olivia said quickly, halting the lady.

"But the groom is Fredrick Willow" the receptionist insist.

"The Frederick I know isn't the...." Olivia words trail off when she notice a full HD screen displaying photos of a couple.

And that couple happen to be Fredrick and an unknown girl.

"That's Fredrick Willow, he is the one getting married to Miss Aurora, the daughter of the owner of this hotel" the receptionist inform.

"It can't be! Frederick is... Frederick is my..." Too choke to speak, Olivia took in a deep breath of air before turning to the receptionist once again.

"Can you take me to the hall?" Olivia ask and a while later she stood at the back row watching Frederick and his bride.

He look so happy, Olivia thought as tears trail down her cheek.

Why didn't he tell her? For how long has he been seeing Aurora and since when did they begin the wedding preparation?

This thought went through Olivia's head and she could only come up with one answer.

Frederick cheated on her. While she remain faithful to him, he was cheating on her with Aurora.

Having seen enough, Olivia wipe her tears and left the hall, she ran past the receptionist from earlier and made her way out of the hotel.

She had no idea what to do or where to go but one thing she have to do is to get away.

Seeing an empty taxi on the other side of the street, Olivia call to it frantically and when the driver didn't hear her, she walk into the street, hoping to get to the taxi before it leave but a car came out of nowhere, heading towards her.

Luckily the driver step on the brake before the car could hit her, Olivia fell on the floor, overwhelm with shock.

"Oh my God! are you okay miss?" the driver ask as he kneel beside her and by now, some of the passerby have gather around them.

"I am...I am..."

"Step aside" a gruff voice said from the crowd and it wasn't until the driver move out of her sight that she saw him.

He was dress in an expensive suit, years of being a sales clerk have given her the experience to distinguish clothes from well known brand.

And this man standing in front of her is completely sheathe in luxury brand, she look at his face and she couldn't help being transfixed by it, especially by his deep blue eyes.

"Are you okay, Miss?" He ask, crouching in front of her.

"I am fine" Olivia found her tongue, she tried standing but fail.

Immediately, she felt a pair of arms around her, lifting her up. It's the blue eyes Adonis, Olivia thought as she stare at the stranger holding her in his arms.

"You are in a state of shock, you need to be check by a doctor" he said.

"I don't..." Her protest died off as he walk with her to his car and carefully put her into it.

"You need a doctor, I don't want a dying girl on my conscience" he said and close the door before she could reply.

< HOSPITAL >>>

Olivia open her eyes to find herself in a room.

After her check up, the doctor had given her a drug which sent her into a deep sleep.

How long have she been out? She thought as she stare at the open window to see the sun setting.

And where is the blue eyes Adonis? Is he gone?

"I told you to do whatever you can to find me a bride!" The blue eyes Adonis said as he walk into the room, startling poor Olivia.

"The judge and witness are here already! My grandfather is also waiting, if I don't show up with a bride then it's definitely going to make him worry" he said, so engross in his conversation that he fail to notice Olivia awake.

"Do you love your job Silas? Then find me a woman to play the part before six in the evening!" He snap into the receiver before ending the call.

"Are you okay?" Olivia question got him turning her way.

"You are up. Do you need me to call the doctor?" He ask and she shook her head.

"I am fine now. The sleep work"

"That's good to know. Since you are fine now, I will take my leave and also, the medical expenses have been paid"

With that said, he gave her a bow and head for the door.

But as soon as he got to the door, he turn to give her a strange look.

"Are you married?" He ask.

"I'm not. Why do you ask?"

"Would you like to be my wife?" His question left Olivia's jaw dropping in shock.

I stood at my mother's open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest's voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone-he brought Charla with him. He claimed she'd had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.

The Silent Bride's Billion Dollar Contract

The Silent Bride's Billion Dollar Contract

Landslide

My bank account showed exactly $42.18, and my student loan notifications were flashing red. I lived in a sweltering Queens apartment with my Aunt Lydia, where the air was thick with the smell of stale frying oil and the constant threat of being homeless. Lydia handed me a grainy photo of a man twice my age and told me she had already "sold" me to him. He was a dry cleaner looking for a wife, and in exchange for my hand, he would pay off her credit cards and my debt. If I didn't show up for the date that night, my boxes would be on the curb by midnight. I arrived at the cafe in a state of panic, my selective mutism making it impossible to even breathe. In the crowded room, I accidentally sat at the wrong table. Instead of the man from the photo, I found myself facing Gerhard Holcomb—the cold, terrifyingly handsome billionaire whose family owned the very museum where I worked. He didn't send me away; instead, he studied my trembling hands and offered me a different deal: a two-year contract marriage, a two-million-dollar payout, and a strict clause forbidding any children. I signed the papers and moved into his Park Avenue penthouse, thinking I was finally safe. But when I went back to the old apartment to retrieve the only memento of my dead parents, Lydia lashed out, leaving me bleeding from a head wound. Gerhard’s retaliation was absolute—he had her arrested and her building foreclosed on within hours, claiming he was simply "protecting his assets." As I recovered in his silent, glass-walled home, I saw a call from a famous socialite flash on his phone, and a cold truth settled in my gut. I wasn't just a wife; I was a placeholder, a silent shield used to fend off the women from his past. I looked at the massive pink diamond on my finger and realized the silence I had lived in my whole life was about to become my most expensive prison. I had traded a life of poverty for a high-stakes game of shadows, and now I had to survive the man who claimed to own me.

He Thought I Was A Doormat, Until I Ruined Him

SHANA GRAY

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.

One Night With My Billionaire Boss

One Night With My Billionaire Boss

Nathaniel Stone

I woke up on silk sheets that smelled of expensive cedar and cold sandalwood, a world away from my cramped apartment in Brooklyn. Beside me lay Ezra Gardner-my boss, the billionaire CEO of Gardner Holdings, and the man who could end my career with a snap of his fingers. He didn't offer an apology for the night before; instead, he looked at me with terrifying clarity and proposed a cold, calculated business arrangement. "Marriage. It stabilizes the board and solves the PR crisis before it begins." He dressed me in archival Chanel and sent me home in his Maybach, but my life was already falling apart. My boyfriend, Irving, claimed he had passed out early, yet his location data placed him at my best friend's apartment until three in the morning. When I tried to run, I realized Ezra was already ten steps ahead, tracking my movements and uncovering the secret I'd spent twenty years hiding: my connection to the powerful Senator Grimes. I was trapped between a CEO who treated me like a line item on a quarterly report and a boyfriend who had been using me while sleeping with my closest friend. I felt like a pawn in a game I didn't understand, wondering why a man like Ezra would walk up forty flights of stairs on a broken leg just to make sure I was safe. "Showtime, Mrs. Gardner." Standing on the red carpet in a gown that cost more than my life, I watched my cheating ex-boyfriend's face turn pale as Ezra claimed me in front of the world. I wasn't just an assistant anymore; I was a weapon, and it was time to burn their world down.
