Everyone knows Henry Allen, the charming, untouchable heir to the powerful Allen Group, a conglomerate that controls more than half the businesses in the country. With wealth, influence, and a future already carved out for him, Henry seems to have it all. But no one knows his secret. Behind the glitz and headlines, Henry is in love with Andrea Evans, a brilliant independent woman far from the world of billionaires. Their relationship is hidden, fragile, and forbidden. Because Henry's future isn't his own. He's being arranged to marry Ava Lawrence, the perfect daughter of the richest man in the neighboring country, a union designed to seal an empire, not a love story.

Tell Me Now,Are We Real? Chapter 1 Fifth Anniversary

It's 8 p.m., the sky has turned dark already. The cold wind blew hard, rushed Andrea to unlock the cottage door with a password she knew too well. She went inside and locked the door behind her. Just as she took off her coat and scarf, her phone dinged. She glanced to the screen, "Sorry, a sudden family meeting. Don't wait up, love you."

Andrea unconciously sighed. That day was their fifth anniversary as a couple. Andrea's boyfriend was the famous Henry Allen, the son of the richest man in the country. He's the sole heir to the gigantic Allen Group. No one knew about their relationship, and it's been a difficult journey to hide it.

Andrea stepped into the room slowly, eyes taking in the scene. Her heart caught somewhere between sorrow and gratitude. The dining room looked nothing like it usually did. On the table, bouquets of fresh flowers spilled across the center: soft pink roses, white ranunculus, delicate sprays of baby's breath.

At one end of the table sat a small, round strawberry cake, the cream blush pink and smooth, with glazed slices of strawberries layered like petals on top. A single silver fork rested beside it, as if waiting for a shared bite. Two wine glasses caught the candlelight, already half filled with a deep red vintage. The bottle sat nearby.

Henry specially prepared this place to celebrate their anniversary. It was one of the Allen's vacation houses, few hours drive from the city, private, secluded, and suitable for their secret getaways. The cottage sat in a clearing, nestled between tall pine trees.

She pulled out a dining chair and sit there, stretched her arms and legs after a two-hour drive. She then grabbed her phone and replied Henry's text, "I just arrived. No worry, take your time."

That night was cold and snowy. Andrea then lazily moved herself to the couch, wrapped herself with a thick blanket that already being prepared there. She grabbed the remote control and turned the TV on. Flipping between channels, until she stopped in an old romance movie. She let a sigh out again, the cottage was perfect and totally romantic. It should've been him and her inside this comfy blanket. But again, she had to wait.

Five years. She patiently waited when Henry had meetings or sudden problems in his company. Sometimes he unexpectedly cancel their dates because he had to fly to other country. She completely understood that Henry had to bear a lot things as the CEO of Allen Group. But tonight she felt tired, hiding and lying to people around her just to be with him. But that was not all. The ache of pretending was the worst. It felt sting to pretend that he was a stranger.

Andrea moved her eyes from the TV, she blanky stared to the window to see that it almost dawn already. She yawned repeatedly and stared back to the TV. She thought maybe Henry could not make it this time, so she planned to drive back to the city once the sun has risen.

The perfect temperature of the room, the dim light, the sound of crackling firewood, slowly sent Andrea to sleep. The TV was still on, the dialogue blurred into static. Words became sound. Sound became nothing. It was just white noise now as Andrea drifted to sleep.

Just before she fell into a deep sleep. She felt the couch shifted, and warm hand touched her cheek, rubbing it several times. "Henry?" she opened her eyes to find a face she's been waiting for. His face looked tired, a faint smile accross his face as if he tried to hide his exhaustion.

His eyes screamed regrets, "Andrea Evans, I don't know what must I do to express how sorry I am." he said very softly.

I sat on the edge of the examination table, the crinkle of the sanitary paper sounding like thunder in the sterile room. The doctor didn't even look at me as he confirmed the news: the pregnancy was over. My husband, Keyon, didn't answer my call. He just sent an automated text: "In a meeting." When I returned to our cold mansion, I found his iPad glowing with a message from his "muse," Katina. He was throwing her a secret gala tonight-on our third wedding anniversary. He told her he couldn't wait to escape the "boring" and "draining" atmosphere I created at home. Keyon didn't stumble in until 3 AM, smelling of Katina's perfume with a smear of red on his collar. When I handed him the divorce papers, he laughed in my face. He called me a "glorified housekeeper" with no skills and no future, promising I'd be back in three days begging for a subway ticket. He even bet his friends ten thousand dollars that I wouldn't survive a week without his name. He had his assistant cancel my credit cards and block my gate access before I even reached the end of the driveway. He wanted me to starve. He wanted me to crawl. He sat in his office, mocking the "desperate" woman who pawned her three-million-dollar wedding ring for scrap metal just to pay for a meal. I stood on the rainy curb, watching the man I had protected for three years treat my life like trash. He didn't know about the ultrasound I just threw in the bin. He didn't know that while he was calling me "dull," I was the one secretly writing the code that kept his billion-dollar empire from collapsing. As I slid into a cheap Uber, I opened a hidden, encrypted app on my phone. The screen refreshed to a dashboard for an account Keyon didn't know existed. The balance was ten figures long-the accumulated wealth of "Solaris," the world's most elusive tech genius. Keyon thinks he just evicted a parasite, but he's about to find out he just declared war on the only person who can hit "delete" on his entire life.

The heavy iron gates of the Wilderness Correction Camp groaned as they released me after three years of state-sponsored hell. I stood on the dirt road, clutching a plastic bag that held my entire life, waiting for the family that claimed they sent me there for "rehab." My brother, Brady, picked me up in a luxury SUV only to throw me out onto a deserted highway in the middle of a brewing storm. He told me I was a "public relations nightmare" and that the rain might finally wash the "stink" of the camp off me. He drove away, leaving me to limp miles through the mud on a snapped ankle. When I finally dragged myself to our family estate, my mother didn't offer a hug; she gasped in horror because my muddy clothes were ruining her Italian marble. They didn't give me my old room back. Instead, they banished me to a moldy gardener’s shack and hired a "babysitter" to make sure I didn't embarrass them further. My sister, Kaleigh, stood there in white cashmere, pretending to cry while clinging to her fiancé, Ambrose—the man who had once been mine. They all treated me like a volatile junkie, refusing to acknowledge that Kaleigh was the one who planted the drugs in my bag three years ago. They wanted to believe I was broken so they wouldn't have to feel guilty about the "wellness retreat" that was actually a torture chamber. I sat in the dark of that shed, feeling the cooling gel on the cigarette burns that covered my arms, and realized they had made a fatal mistake. They thought they had erased me, but I had returned with a roadmap of scars and a hidden satellite phone. At dinner, I didn't beg for their love. I simply rolled up my sleeves and showed them the price of their silence. As the wine spilled and the lies crumbled, I sent a single text to the only person I trusted: "I'm in. Let them simmer." The hunt was finally on.
