Naomi Mitchell, blinded by love, gave up all riches to be with her husband, but a heart-breaking revelation takes her back to her life of wealth on her journey of revenge through self-revival.

The Secret Billionairess Ex Husband Plea Chapter 1 Guilty Or Not

The hall was large and spacious enough to accommodate over fifty people and still had enough space to move around. Everyone was in a jolly mood that particular evening, dancing, drinking and chatting sophisticatedly.

Naomi Mitchell was at wit's end watching the man she called her husband flirting shamelessly and touching openly, another woman he had chosen not to forget in his life. Grace.

Grace was his first love and after her relationship failed, she returned to steal Naomi's husband, Justin Miller, who seemed to be effortlessly working.

Justin finally left Grace and Grace approached Naomi with a proud smile, knowing well that her plan was working without flaw. "Let's talk." She went to Naomi and strutted into the kitchen.

Naomi heaved a gentle sigh to calm herself before dropping her glass and following after Grace.

She crossed her arms as she rested her hip against the counter. "What?"

"Nothing, you just couldn't seem to get your eyes off me, so I thought you had something to say to me." Grace said with a smirk.

Naomi scoffed. "You must be joking, why won't you back off my husband?"

Grace chuckled. "Oh, so that's why you have been staring at us. "Jealousy much?" She crossed her arms below her breast with a grin as she asked.

"He chose me and that's why we are married. "Why don't you just give up and stop trying to ruin my marriage?"

Grace chuckled. "Oh really? "You really think that he chose you because he wanted to?" Why don't I show you that I'm the one he'll always love?" She said as she started towards the array of knives.

"What do you think you are doing?" Naomi took a hesitant step backward as fear gripped her by the throat.

Grace trailed her finger across the knives and picked up one. "Sharp." She said with a devilish smirk.

"Stop it!" Whatever it is you are thinking, don't do it!" Naomi tried to reason with Grace, but the girl was too crazy.

"Then stop me!" Tell me that you'll give up Justin because he belongs with me! Grace yelled out with eyes glaring with hatred.

"Justin chose me! "I'm the one he loves!" For some reason, Naomi felt like she was saying it to convince herself and not Grace.

"Wrong choice of words." Grace pierced her own skin with the sharp end of the knife and immediately, blood poured down from her stomach and dropped to the ground.

She was covered in her own blood, and she stumbled towards Naomi and pressed the bloody knife into her palm.

Naomi was horrified as blood stained her hand and her white dress.

"Ah! Somebody help me!" Grace stumbled towards the door and collapsed to the ground.

Almost immediately, Justin hurried towards her and picked her into his arms. His eyes flickered with anger as he looked up at his wife. "You did this, didn't you?"

Naomi was too terrified to speak. The blood-stained knife had fallen to the ground in front of her and fear caused her to freeze to the ground.

"She... she stabbed me..." Grace murmured as she clung closely to Justin.

"I..." Naomi swallowed hard. "I didn't do it." She gasped.

"Somebody call 911!" he yelled out as he hugged her closer to himself. "What possessed you to do something so out of control?" His eyes burnt with hatred as he glared at her.

She had thought a man she was married to for three years would trust her words over any others, but she was wrong. She hated that she knew it.

All eyes were on her now as she stood dumbfounded in the kitchen. It was only then that she was able to recollect her thoughts.

Grace never meant to have a word with her. That was the sly woman's plan from the very moment she lured her into the kitchen.

How crazy could a woman get to stab herself just for show?

"I really didn't–"

"Shut your trap! "Why didn't I see this coming?" He murmured to himself as he picked Grace off the ground and hurried out of the hall.

Naomi just stood there, terrified.

After gathering herself, she left for her bedroom to change into something with no blood stains. A while later, she heard a knock on her door and she jumped to her feet to open it.

Standing by the door was a tall, buff man with cold black eyes. His name was Gregg. "Mr Miller requests your presence."

Naomi swallowed hard at the thought of confronting her husband's father. Mr George Miller was just as hard-headed as his son. They shared the same cold icy blue eyes and perfect bodily features.

But there was no escaping her sentence. She puffed her chest and followed Gregg down the hallway and, after a deep breath, waltzed into Mr Miller's study.

It all happened so fast, yet she managed to dodge it by a hair. Mr Miller's phone went flying directly at her face as she walked in, and a horrified gasp left her mouth.

The man hadn't noticed her walk in and didn't intentionally aim for her, but he was not sorry about it. "Great, you're here. How do you plan on handling the mess you have created? "The press won't stop bothering me!" he growled.

She yelped in his voice. "I– I'm sorry, but I didn't do it! I really didn't–" A hard-covered book hit her directly in the face, causing her nose to bleed as she cried out in pain.

"You worthless b*tch!" I knew you had nothing but bad luck ever since you joined my family. "Now look what you've done!" He spat out at her. "I ought to kill you by myself!" He growled as he hurled everything his hands could reach at her.

As unbearable as the pain was for Naomi, she dared not move away. All she could do was stand there in tears and endure the pain.

When there was nothing within his reach anymore, Mr Miller finally gave it a rest. His face scrunched into an ugly frown. "You had better not cause any more trouble for my family or else... I'll really kill you then."

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband’s Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn’t find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn’t even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father’s legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn’s party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara’s health and managing every detail of Caden’s empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I’d drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause—if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I’d forgotten.

The heavy iron gates of the Wilderness Correction Camp groaned as they released me after three years of state-sponsored hell. I stood on the dirt road, clutching a plastic bag that held my entire life, waiting for the family that claimed they sent me there for "rehab." My brother, Brady, picked me up in a luxury SUV only to throw me out onto a deserted highway in the middle of a brewing storm. He told me I was a "public relations nightmare" and that the rain might finally wash the "stink" of the camp off me. He drove away, leaving me to limp miles through the mud on a snapped ankle. When I finally dragged myself to our family estate, my mother didn't offer a hug; she gasped in horror because my muddy clothes were ruining her Italian marble. They didn't give me my old room back. Instead, they banished me to a moldy gardener’s shack and hired a "babysitter" to make sure I didn't embarrass them further. My sister, Kaleigh, stood there in white cashmere, pretending to cry while clinging to her fiancé, Ambrose—the man who had once been mine. They all treated me like a volatile junkie, refusing to acknowledge that Kaleigh was the one who planted the drugs in my bag three years ago. They wanted to believe I was broken so they wouldn't have to feel guilty about the "wellness retreat" that was actually a torture chamber. I sat in the dark of that shed, feeling the cooling gel on the cigarette burns that covered my arms, and realized they had made a fatal mistake. They thought they had erased me, but I had returned with a roadmap of scars and a hidden satellite phone. At dinner, I didn't beg for their love. I simply rolled up my sleeves and showed them the price of their silence. As the wine spilled and the lies crumbled, I sent a single text to the only person I trusted: "I'm in. Let them simmer." The hunt was finally on.
