Caius glared at me as his jaw clenched. "What the fuck did you just do to my fiancée?" I can feel the rage in his voice. I took the bomb's activator from my bag and showed it to him. "Just one press here, and the bomb beside your woman will explode... All you have to do is sign that paper and we're good. I won't kill her anymore." Caius' lips parted. "You're fucking crazy... What kind of prank is this?! This isn't funny, Ms. Dominguez!" He raised his voice at me. I just smiled and pressed the knife deeper into his neck. I chuckled as if I'm out of my mind. Bound by Fatal Obsession Chapter 1 One

Chapter 1

"You were caught smoking, Ms. Dominguez."

I bit my lower lip and pressed my thighs together. I inhaled Caius' scent lingering in the air. Oh, fuck. He smells fucking good. I'm already wet just by inhaling his scent. He's making me high. I did my best not to moan.

"Don't you like smokers?" I asked.

Caius' forehead creased as if I asked a ridiculous question. I'd stop smoking immediately if he didn't like it.

"I don't like students who smoke," he said firmly.

The dominance in his voice made my knees wobble. I want him to fuck me hard with that domineering voice. Ah. I'm fucking wet. I can't stand being in Caius' presence. He's fucking perfect. I will kill just to have a taste of him.

"Ms. Dominguez." Caius cleared his throat.

I flinched and blinked. "W-what is it?" I asked. My mind had wandered again.

Caius sighed and stroked his hair using long fingers. I unconsciously bit my lower lip. I want those fingers inside me.

"I will let it pass for now. Don't smoke again, Ms. Dominguez, at least not here on campus," he said in a serious tone.

I stared straight into his amber eyes. Caius Lettiere is the most perfect human being in my eyes. His hair is neatly brushed. His thick eyebrows suit his brooding eyes. His pointed nose looks perfect. He has pinkish and kissable lips. I've been dying to touch his clean-shaved and prominent jaw... and damn, he has tattoos on his fingers up to his forearms, to his arms... I know he has tattoos on his chest and back too. There are foreign characters tattooed on his fingers, with stems and thorns up to his forearms.

It's surprising that he can still teach. As far as I know, visible tattoos are prohibited for teachers. But well, I don't care. I love all of him.

"Ms. Dominguez, you may leave now," Caius said, taking off his eyeglasses.

I looked at his handkerchief on the table. It was navy blue. Navy blue is the color of the handkerchief he brings every Tuesday. I fought the urge to snatch it and inhale his scent from it. I just licked my lower lip and looked at the floor, beside Caius' swivel chair.

"Sir Caius. There's a cockroach," I said, pointing at the floor.

He frowned and looked there. I immediately grabbed the handkerchief and hid it in my pocket. Caius looked at me with confusion in his eyes, maybe because he didn't see any cockroach there.

"Oh. It ran away," I just bluffed.

I immediately stormed out of his office. I gripped his handkerchief in my pocket. It's the twelfth handkerchief that I've stolen from him. When I can no longer smell his perfume on the handkerchief I stole, I'll steal another one from him.

I went back to my room and took my bag; as usual, no one talked to me. I don't care about them anyway. I won't go to other subjects anymore. I only attend Caius' subject.

I met Caius Lettiere for the first time three years ago. Back then, I didn't care about anything at all. I lacked feelings. I didn't care about myself, my family, my life... I didn't even have friends. After high school, I didn't study anymore because I had no interest in it. I didn't care about anything. My parents gave up on me. They kicked me out of their house. They just always put a large amount of money in my bank account. It's just pocket change for them because they're rich... I lived in a small apartment and did everything I wanted.

I met Caius Lettiere when I saw him at the park. It was my 21st birthday that time. I was celebrating my birthday, sitting on a bench with a candle in my hand. I always celebrate my birthday like that. But he approached me and bought a small cake for me. He smiled at me as if he didn't find me weird, as I was wearing all black with my hair covering almost my whole face, looking like a fucking ghost.

I still remember it clearly. Since then, he has become my angel. I fell in love. I want him more than anything. I dedicated my life to him. I decided that I'll live for him. I love him so much and he's mine.

I started stalking him since then. I also secretly enter his house. I studied hard to be able to do that. Sometimes I take things from him and hide them. I'm happy with what I'm doing... What makes me happy the most is the fact that he has no girlfriend yet. I've been stalking him like hell for three years. I almost know everything about him... even the boxer shorts that he wears, his favorite shampoo brand, his perfume, his favorite dessert, his favorite TV shows and books... Yes, my obsession with him is that severe. I have no hope anymore... It's fine with me though. I like the way I am right now.

I'm already 24 years old, but I'm just in my first year of college. This is my third year as a first-year student. When I found out that Caius was a college professor, I immediately enrolled in the university where he works. I even used my family's connection just to have him as my professor.

I went home first. When I entered my room, a pile of Caius' pictures plastered on the wall greeted me. Most of them are pictures that I captured myself. I even took a picture of him while sleeping... and naked.

I opened my computers. I bought a lot of laptops and computers to monitor every hidden camera that I installed inside Caius' house. My life is worthless shit, but I'm damn smart, especially in technology, hacking, and some creepy stuff.

I took Caius' handkerchief from my pocket after sitting on the bed. I inhaled the scent coming from it like it's some kind of a drug. I moaned; waves of pleasure rushed through my veins down to my core. I lay on the bed, still holding the handkerchief and smelling it. I can smell Caius' favorite perfume and his natural scent from it. Maybe he used this to wipe his lips, or his sweat... Fuck. Just thinking about it made me shiver with pleasure.

I stood at my mother's open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest's voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone-he brought Charla with him. He claimed she'd had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.

My bank account showed exactly $42.18, and my student loan notifications were flashing red. I lived in a sweltering Queens apartment with my Aunt Lydia, where the air was thick with the smell of stale frying oil and the constant threat of being homeless. Lydia handed me a grainy photo of a man twice my age and told me she had already "sold" me to him. He was a dry cleaner looking for a wife, and in exchange for my hand, he would pay off her credit cards and my debt. If I didn't show up for the date that night, my boxes would be on the curb by midnight. I arrived at the cafe in a state of panic, my selective mutism making it impossible to even breathe. In the crowded room, I accidentally sat at the wrong table. Instead of the man from the photo, I found myself facing Gerhard Holcomb—the cold, terrifyingly handsome billionaire whose family owned the very museum where I worked. He didn't send me away; instead, he studied my trembling hands and offered me a different deal: a two-year contract marriage, a two-million-dollar payout, and a strict clause forbidding any children. I signed the papers and moved into his Park Avenue penthouse, thinking I was finally safe. But when I went back to the old apartment to retrieve the only memento of my dead parents, Lydia lashed out, leaving me bleeding from a head wound. Gerhard’s retaliation was absolute—he had her arrested and her building foreclosed on within hours, claiming he was simply "protecting his assets." As I recovered in his silent, glass-walled home, I saw a call from a famous socialite flash on his phone, and a cold truth settled in my gut. I wasn't just a wife; I was a placeholder, a silent shield used to fend off the women from his past. I looked at the massive pink diamond on my finger and realized the silence I had lived in my whole life was about to become my most expensive prison. I had traded a life of poverty for a high-stakes game of shadows, and now I had to survive the man who claimed to own me.

He Thought I Was A Doormat, Until I Ruined Him

SHANA GRAY

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.

I arrived at the hotel with Julian's favorite takeout, ready to surprise my fiancé before our big merger. But the moment I swiped the keycard, the silence of the hallway felt heavy and wrong. Inside, a red-soled stiletto lay on the marble floor-the same one I'd watched my best friend Lila try on at Saks last week. Through the cracked bedroom door, I watched Julian's back arch as Lila looked me straight in the eye and smiled, wrapping her legs tighter around him to mock my heartbreak. I fled to the penthouse to hide, only to find Grafton, Julian's "crippled" brother, waiting in the dark. To my horror, the man who was supposed to be paralyzed stood up from his wheelchair, gripped my chin with cold fingers, and forced me to sign a contract that gave him control of my family's shares. He knew about my mother's secret medical bills and used them to buy my silence, effectively turning my life into a calculated game of corporate chess. The betrayal tasted like acid, and the injustice of it all burned in my throat. My fiancé was a liar, my best friend was a thief, and the man now controlling my fate was a predator who had been faking his disability for years. I couldn't understand how everyone I trusted had turned out to be a monster. I was trapped between a man who cheated on me and a man who wanted to own me, with no way out and no one to turn to. But when Julian came looking for me, Grafton didn't hide; he stood tall, looming over me with a possessive glint in his eyes. "Help me destroy Julian," I rasped, realizing that to survive the Faulkner men, I had to become the most dangerous player of them all.
