opened, catching my attention and speaking of the devil, he walked in with his personal assistant. I didn't like his P.A. because of her catty behavior. She acted like he was his property and if it was possible, she would have branded her name on his forehead. The fact that I heard he had slept with her just made me stay away from her. I understood women like her and the safest option was to always avoid them. We all stood up. "Good morning, everyone," Mr. Richards smiled at us and when his eyes fell on me, they widened a little. Everyone noticed it and I blushed when they turned to me. "Ms. Wilson, it's nice to have you with us again," he said and I nodded. He went to his side of the table and then four people walked in. My jaw nearly dropped when I saw the last person I imagined to come across again. ANTHONY SIMMONS. What a pleasant surprise! Tis not! His eyes fell on me as he took his seat and I was kind of disappointed when I saw no expression on his face. Wait, why was he even here? What was he doing here? During the meeting, I couldn't keep my eyes from glancing at him once in a while. He didn't talk much, but I could tell he was listening attentively to what everyone was saying and my heart was beating fast when I knew it would soon be my turn to present. "Ms. Wilson, it's your turn now. Show us what you have," Director David said and I nearly fainted in my chair. I nodded, trying to hide my blush when I felt Anthony's eyes on me. This was going to be a long meeting. After the meeting, I grabbed my things as I mentally pictured myself flying out of the conference room, literally. I needed to be out of here. I stepped out of the room along with the others and was about to make my way towards the stairs when I heard my name. I turned around to see Anthony standing behind me. I nearly tripped on my feet when I saw how big he was. "This is not the best place to talk to you," I quickly said as I looked around for any suspecting eavesdropper. He rolled his eyes, "We need to talk." I narrowed my eyes at him, "I'm sure I clearly said we can't talk here." "Then follow me," he said and began walking. I frowned in confusion but followed him to the elevator. He walked in and beckoned me to walk in. I sighed and walked in too. The door closed and It began to move. "What do you want to talk about?" I started the conversation. "Everything that happened that night. First, I apologize for everything. I was just a little bit in my feelings," he said and I could tell he was regretting it. "A little bit? You were way in your feelings if you ask me," I wanted to spite him but I saw him roll his eyes at my words.
