Have you ever feeling someone's heartbeat? I can. I can hear someone's heartbeat since childhood. Do you know that guy? It is a man I have never met. what if you can never hold hands with the man you love for your life? It doesn't matter, at least I can hear his heartbeat.

Chapter 1 No.1

[ Alex's perspective]

"This place is too broken, if it wasn't for my dream, I wouldn't ride on my small motorcycle and travel a thousand miles on this hot blazing day..."

I touched the pitiful amount of money in my pocket and sighed again.

"Oh! Life will always be hard for a little unknown actor like me, when can I become one of the famous stars?"

Sweat was dripping from my forehead like beads.

"Ah, I finally arrived at the place. This place is hard to find."

When I reached the location, I walked through some shabby factory passage and saw an actor waiting in the lounge.

"Hey buddy, are you here to audition for this play?" A man in a peaked cap wiggled his eyebrows and grinned.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"It seems like you don't like this job, why? Did you come here to be a background actor?"

"Don't look down on me, I have an acting talent."

So I passed the time by gossiping with other background actors who, just like me, traveled a thousand miles just for this audition until it was my turn.

"Hello director, my name is Alex, 063 auditionee."

"What I'd like to audition for today is ..."

Before I could finish, I saw a man with a work card hanging around his neck.

He quietly walked beside the director, whispered a few words, and then they hurried out.

"This ... what's wrong?"

"I haven't started the performance yet. Why did they leave? "

I stood there stunned; no one was in the audition room, no one talked to me about what I should do; I spent the most embarrassing ten minutes of my life.

"You, come here and follow me." A man suddenly appeared in front of my eyes and pointed at me.

"Was I just summoned by the principal director?" I thought to myself.

"Good luck, buddy!" The other auditionee jokingly cheered me on.

"What's the matter, principal director? Is something wrong?" I asked as I walked in.

"The only female isn't with us today. You're the only one who has the same figure and a similar look to her. If you come to the audition, you'll get double the pay."

"What? A woman?" I widened my eyes and felt really angry.

But at least it was a big chance; as she was the leading lady.

I nodded my head humbly.

"Thank you, sir, for giving me this precious opportunity.

When I entered the studio, everyone looked worried.

"Go find me a dress just like this, hurry up!"

"Oh my god, it's Charlie!" My mouth tingled as I suddenly saw that the male protagonist was Charlie, the most prominent actor in our country.

"I wish I could always work with him in my life ..."

As I was stunned, something blocked my view.

"Put it on, it's already the next scene with you and Charlie."

I immediately regained consciousness, "OK!" I nodded.

I changed my clothes and put on some heavy makeup, it didn't take long for me to regain my senses.

"My God, that looks OK!" Someone was stunned.

"Charlie's looks are truly indescribable."

"Scene three, pass at a time, action!"

With a bang, Charlie quickly entered the play, and I stood confused at the scene.

"Wait, what's wrong with you?" The director's face turned red and growled at me.

"What are you doing out there?"

"Do you want to continue acting or not, or do you need me to replace you?"

The director's roar came at me.

"Sorry, sorry," I said, bowing to the director.

The director heaved a sigh. Then he lifted his plate again.

"Scene three, one, two begin."

"Stop."

Before I could begin my lines, the director shouted "Stop" again.

"Scene three, one more time."

I looked at Charlie, my face flushed. I couldn't even say a word.

"Stop."

The director's face was so long that it reached the floor.

However, the repeated audition wore on the people's patience, and they began to whisper.

I ducked my head, knowing I had made a big mistake.

"Don't worry, take your time, I'll teach you."

Charlie's soft voice suddenly rang out. His hypnotizing eyes stared into my soul.

"OK, I'll try my best." I said while blushing.

Just as the crew was preparing for the next shooting, I suddenly heard a loud noise.

I looked up and blurted out.

"Be careful!"

I stood in front of Charlie and blocked the water pouring out of the pipe. It was a huge stream of water, swaying in the air like a dragon.

The water dragon seemed to smile then it growled at me.

My ear didn't seem to hear anything but a drumming sound that appeared to be a heartbeat.

I turned and looked at Charlie; an eerie feeling ran through my veins. I could hear a heartbeat, not mine but his.

I stumbled and fell into his arms, the water dragon was still focused on me, but at that moment, I looked into his beautiful starry eyes as if there was nothing in this world but him and me.

"OK, this is perfect!!" I heard the director's voice.

The water fell on my head, but I felt nothing.

"Is everything OK?" Charlie's soft voice reminded me again.

I quickly stood up and shook the water off on me.

"Nothing, nothing, just taking a shower, nothing, just taking a bath."

I was very happy to hear the news that I passed the audition and I even managed to hear his magnetic voice.

[ Charlie's perspective]

"I didn't expect the director to put a boy in the role of the heroine." I was surprised at first.

But when I first saw him in the actor's waiting lounge, I had a special feeling that something was going to happen between us.

"He doesn't have much acting experience, but I will try to help him pass the screening." I promised the director.

The director had no other choice on the spot, so he nodded.

On the set, I also saw that he kept trying.

And made some progress after repeated failures.

I saw some of my past self in him.

"No, take your time. I'll show you."

I seemed to have a strange affinity for this little boy.

"Watch it!"

I watched as he bravely stood in front of me to block the sudden burst of water from reaching me. I looked into his eyes, I was amazed to hear something, a heartbeat, not mine, but his.

He looked like a drowned rat after blocking the water.

"Are you OK?"

I wanted to show a little concern for him, but I didn't know what to say.
