Through history 4 people, 2 men and 2 women, have protected over the place they lived. Each one with the power of an element. When one of the generations of Guardians breaks the rules each pair create a problem. What will happen when these two teenagers find out about their abilities and each other? Will they choose to fight and play a role in protecting their city or will they pretend nothing happened and live their lives as normal as can be?
Chapter 1 Introduction
Long ago when the world took its shape, it was a very dangerous place. But not as dangerous as Shanghai, China. Buildings being destroyed and people being killed left and right, and so became the Guardians. Using their given power the protect they people of Shanghai. Soon enough Shanghai was no longer in danger and the Guardians came to the US. Each Guardian has a power matching the 4 elements. Earth. Air. Water. Fire. This creates a team of 4, 2 men and 2 women. There are rules in place for the Guardians to keep them and people around them safe.
1.) No one must ever know your identity even fellow Guardians
2.) No Guardian shall mate with another
3.) The power of natural disaster must never be used unless it is the only option
One set of Guardians broke 2 of these rules. They fell in love and knew their identities. They continued to be guardians until one days each couple had a child, each couple made a different choice.
Fire and Earth had a daughter. She had two older siblings. They decided to keep all of them and raise them in the dark of their parents true identity. Things were great for the family until one day someone decided that their happiness should end. The daughter hid in the closet left to be the only survivor.
Air and Water had a son. They both decided that keeping him would not work. They wanted to continue to be Guardians and be with each other. They put him in foster care to be adopted. One thing stays the same, both sets of parents left a video for their kids. When they reach the right age to accept their destiny to be the next Guardians. Here is where our story starts...
