Flower In Prison

Neon and Darwin strolled along the corridor at the campus, conscious of the numbers of pupils lurking behind them.

" Hope you understand what I explained to you earlier?"

Darwin asked. He had to explain what his lover failed to understand at the lecture room.

" Yes thank you".

Neon replied sarcastically. Instantly, Darwin stopped, held her hand and draw her back which forced her to face him.

" What did I do again?"

Darwin asked. Neon gazed at him.

" No you did nothing wrong".

She scrutinized him.

" Why asking me that?"

Neon asked.

" Nothing, you just sound funny".

Darwin said has They moved on.

Darwin was shocked at Neon's imprudence, he knew his lover could be like that sometimes. So he walk along with her silently.

Neon wonder if Darwin is really her match, you know that Know one knows the future. This life is crowdy, you don't know who is who. How sure is she that Darwin is not playing prank on her?

Darwin is such a cool guy, he's very cool and calm, you can easily talk to him. So that handsome guy has no insolence and bad characters at all? No way there must be something silly about him. But what is it ? Neon thought.

Neon couldn't figure out the bad side of Darwin. There must be something bad about him. Now is in two ways she should give him her heart and trust him or she should leave him and move on with her life.

Darwin actually look good in Neon's eyes. Well it normal, he was her first love. Neon has no parents, no body will help her so she wouldn't want any guy to step on her and take Advantage of her. But she never know that her steps will determine her future.

Since the death of her parents, she has been careful with her life. She was made to watch her steps. She remembers her mother's catchy words to her:

" One who live in a glass house must not throw stone."

She respected her parent's repetition so much. She's always conscious of her actions no matter what might be going on.

Neon kept all this words of advice in her heart. She only love Darwin and no one else. But it's better to be bitten by a snake than a man. Since she fell in love with Darwin her hatred for men vanished.

The haunting words her parents gave her was useless. She doesn't know that life is time and man is sizes. Could Darwin disguise just to get what he want from her. But she really need a man who will love her, who will be a father and a mother to her.

This world is nothing but a market. Life canes people, watch your steps so that you will not be cane by life. When life honour you, you say life is good but when it refuse to honour you, you say life is bad. But you must know that life honour and favor those that deserves it not and those that deserves it.

This two lover keep moving on with their love life, fighting against all odds. And Neon having it in mind that Darwin will surely marry her with the way things are going. Neon only think of the present happening and evade from the future happening.

She never know if she will be allow to play a role in the drama of her life or life will play all the roles on behalf of her. It's such a pity, the fire of love keeps burning and no one knows when theirs will quench. Love is just like a fire burning, that gives strength and power but once the strength is gone , it will quench, powerless and become powerless.
