More than half of the people concluded on prince Arthur due to his steadfastness and kind gesture to people within and outside Martaz land…… Prince Oliver, who is in a sweepstakes with prince Arthur, have gotten lesser audiences from the people of this great kingdom. He overheard the talk of the town and became very angry. "What have I done wrong to deserve lesser audiences from people of Martaz despite being good to them." His selfish interest prompted him to consult the devil in the kingdom of darkness where he was granted the dark power to rule over the land of Martaz….. Chapter 01

With great excitement, Prince Oliver felt this relief in his mind. "Now the kingdom is mine!" He screamed out loud…. The plan of bringing down prince Arthur was what he could think of……
Without further ado, he rushed down to his abode where he cast spells to unleash the messenger of evil. "Radamara buringalu railpro chatira". Prince Oliver in action…… A lightning from above filled up the room and there came the arrival of the messenger of evil. Prince Oliver was very excited as he had succeeded in calling upon the messenger of evil to attack prince Arthur.
"Thanks very much for coming to my aid master, I have come to you with my problem and I so much believe you are the right person to fulfill this task." Prince Oliver exclaimed. He proceeded by reciting the pledge to praise the messenger of the devil……..
"Lord Master,
with you I served
In you I bestowed
and with your name I shared all the blood."
"What is your problem all about and what exactly do you need?" The Messenger of the devil replied in a robotic voice.
"Thank you very much my lord." Prince Oliver showed his appreciation.
"I have been dreaming of taking the space of my forefathers. But, it won't be a dream come true because of a man called Arthur who is also in a sweepstakes with me. He got the audience of everybody in this kingdom. Master, I want you to help me scare him to death because it is only with this I will be able to get the position without any hindrance." Prince Oliver explained.
"Oh! Consider it done." Still in his robotic voice the messenger of evil replied. After saying this, he evades the air." Ha ha ha ha ha ha." Prince Oliver screamed.
Prince Arthur was in a deep sleep when the messenger of evil appeared to him. He whispered to him evil thoughts about the many pleasures of life a man like him could easily enjoy but prince Arthur didn't take this from him rather he fought hard with the messenger. He woke from bed and could get back to his senses immediately. He stood up and checked the entire room to confirm if it was a dream or real conversation…..
Prince Arthur's action enraged the messenger of evil further. "I think removing his wealth will invoke fear into his mind as this will result in deviating from his side" , the Messenger of evil exclaimed…….
As time passed, Prince Arthur's wealth began to diminish - his land, livestock, servants and money slowly evaded him until he was left with nothing. He could not believe what was happening to him. Kudos to his family who stood by him. Though, they were very shocked at how their life took such a drastic turn……
Months later, the issue of Prince Arthur became very appalling to an extent he was confused of what life brought to him which made him clueless of what to do next. But to my surprise, despite all that happened to him he still had the highest number of people's attention in the kingdom of Martaz…….
Prince Oliver was very happy when he noticed how people were leaving Arthur side by side. In a couple of days, it came to his attention that with all that had happened to Prince Arthur, he had received from people high hopes of getting to the position of his forefathers. In fact, people have been very nice to him with care, donations etc.
Prince Oliver couldn't help the matter but called on the messenger of evil again "Master, the time to choose the next king is very near and Arthur is still leading me in everything despite all that happened to him." Prince Oliver explained with sadness written all over his face. "Ho ho ho ho, ha ha ha ha" , the Messenger of Evil showed his devilish expression. "I know what next to attack him with" says the messenger of evil. Immensely satisfied with prince Arthur ordeal, the Messenger of evil disguised as a wide old man, approached the prince and said "All your wealth is lost, some people say it is because you give too much charity and also waste time with your continuous sincerity and sacrifice you are having towards this kingdom while others said God has brought this upon you in order to please your enemies. If you God had the capacity to prevent you from being harmed then he would have protected your wealth"........
"God gives whom he wills and he takes from who he wills. So, all the wealth I have belongs to him and he has every authority to take it back from me."
Feeling rather frustrated, the Messenger of Evil came up with another plan. Though, he thought Prince Arthur was only hiding his disappointment. The real test of a parent is through his children." Mom, I am very hungry. Can I get something to eat? "Liam exclaimed. Liam in his early 20s was the first son of Prince Arthur. He entered the kitchen to get something to eat. He found the food they ate last night and he picked it up and turned back to his room. He sat on his bed to consume the food when he felt a slight pain on his chest. He coughed repeatedly and he took three gulps of water to reduce the cough but to no avail. Liam gave up the ghost…..
Before long, the building in which prince Arthur's daughter lived crashed, killing all twelve of his young beautiful daughters. This has created heartbreak for Prince Arthur and his wife. People from different areas in the martaz kingdom came to show their condolences……..
Funny enough, the Messenger of Evil again visited Prince Arthur and disguised as sympathizing bystanders remarked with sorrow. "The circumstances under which your children died were sad". At this stage, Prince Arthur was confused because his issues are deteriorating day by day……..
Prince Arthur was left with just a child called "Leo". he was helpless, he couldn't do anything but weep everyday for the death of his siblings. Messengers of evil did not stop attacking prince Arthur. This time, the thought of weakening his body came to his senses, as this will stop prince Arthur having the hope of regaining his wealth and producing more children……
Soon after, Prince Arthur's health began to be appalling. He was very sick to an extent the skin of his body fell off showing his muscles and bone. Prince Arthur suffered through several pains, but he never allowed this to overshadow his ambition for the future. "Indeed you are a great man and I promised to stand by you. Though, it is now the talk of the town that if you're a good person, God would not have done this to you. But I pray you get well soon my king" Prince Arthur's beloved wife said.
Eventually, they abandoned him (his relatives, friends and everyone who loved and respected prince Arthur) deserted him……
