Malcon has fought against ghosts, demons and creatures that could drive a person crazy, that's his day to day. But none of that had scared him as much as the fact of losing the woman he loves, Enma, although he loves his work, he fervently wants to start a family by his side. Unfortunately, Malcon did not share the same desire as her. Insecurities appear after so long, fame is a constant weight and the responsibility is too great when it comes to facing it. Will he be able to face her fears? Or will their insecurities end up being a threat to their relationship? Evil is constantly stalking them and only together will they be able to defeat it... Will they make it?
He watched the full moon high in the sky, it was past midnight and he could hear the murmurs of the guests on the first floor of the hotel coming and going. An icy breeze caressed his bare skin, but still Malcon made no move, his mind lost in the endless thoughts that whirled through his head.
"Pff," he sighed.
His abdomen contracted due to the cold but he barely felt it, since the last job in Los Teques he felt something strange, since the duel with "that thing" I had the feeling that nothing was where it should be.
He attributed the feeling to the fact that it had been a very stressful experience for any normal human, and that included him, he was pleased to have done his job but God knew how exhausting it could be, He was already in his thirties and he couldn't wait for the time when the waters would calm down. Though on the other hand, she would never deny the way her pulse quickened and how she could feel the blood coursing through her veins when her adventurous instincts awoke.
In the end, everything could become a double-edged sword.
He is dedicated to helping society and every soul that needs it whenever he can thanks to his skills, but at the end of the day, when everything seemed to be over.... He could hardly handle his own soul.
His gaze traveled to the small sleeping figure on the queen bed zise in the middle of the elegant room dimly lit by moonlight and he felt a small smile tug at his lips. <
It was amazing how much things had changed from seven years ago.
Who would say that a woman would manage to dominate both the good and the bad of himself?
He had to recognize that Enma was the only woman capable of facing all his demons, he was aware of the effect that he could have on the opposite sex but he knew that no woman would be prepared for what it meant to be with him. That's how he had thought about the past and he continued to maintain it, he never imagined that he would have a life as a couple, not even in his remotest dreams, much less with a woman as incredible as her, her adventurous sense was as impetuous as his. When Emma gets something into her head, there was nothing to persuade her to quit.
And he had been in his sights.
Even after so long it still felt like the first time.
Unique. Special. And matchless.
There was no doubt that he had fallen for a woman in baggy khaki shorts and a funny hat, the archaeologist who had unearthed his heart.
"Malcon," a thick, male voice whispered from behind him that in a matter of seconds had him spinning around expecting to find...nothing?
He frowned stretching his body to see below the balcony but he didn't see anyone, although the city had come to life even at that hour the few passersby on the sidewalk didn't even notice his presence above them.
Malcon negó con la cabeza con vehemencia.
"I must have heard wrong," he muttered absently, that air current blew in his direction again and he took a deep breath, even though the trip had taken time he didn't feel tired and he knew he should be sleeping like a log at that moment
His body tensed when without warning he felt a pair of hands reach from behind him, he heard the sound of the fabric moving and instantly relaxed to feel the presence of his girl. Her arms hugged him from behind and he felt her cheek rest against his bare back.
"What are you doing awake at this hour love?" she asked
"I can't sleep baby," he answered and smiled slightly as he pronounced the affectionate nickname he used to refer to her.
"Mmm." She moved closer to his side and watched his face as if searching for something while his gaze slid over every inch of her body covered in a navy blue babydoll. Both had arrived more dead than alive from the trip, so super exhausted that the first thing they had done after taking a bath was to fall asleep in bed
"I'll call reception, see if I can order a chamomile tea." It'll help you sleep." She started to walk away from him, but Malcon took her hand, stopping her.
"I don't need tea," he murmured, turning and bringing the female body closer to his. "You know you could help me?"
She stared at him for a moment before lowering her lashes as a lazy, flirtatious smile curved her lips.
"I have a couple of ideas," she replied, and a mischievous gleam crossed her gaze.
"I love the things that are in that beautiful little head, you're a genius," he murmured as he lowered his head and his hand ventured inside her robes, sliding it a little down her shoulders and exposing the skin of her collarbone.
"I know baby, I know," she murmured and he could feel her smile before her tongue swept across the skin of his shoulder to his neck and a small feminine gasp escaped her lips.
"Oh, God..." She moaned trying to back away but he wouldn't let her, his arm slid to anchor around her waist, holding her in place.
"Yes?" When he spoke this time his voice came out hoarse as the fire began to crackle inside him, seven years and things like that didn't seem to change a bit, his body combusted every time he was near her, it was something that it fascinated him.
"We're on the balcony, someone could see us," she murmured and although she could hear the nervousness in her voice she could also see the way she pressed her thighs together and the way her hands clung to her shoulders rather than pushing him away.
"I don't want someone to see what's mine." He agreed and without thinking twice he went down her body and hugged her legs lifting her up and putting her on his shoulder like a sack of potatoes
Enma gasped in surprise before a small laugh escaped her lips.
"You better not let me fall to the ground" She murmured pinching the butt she had in view and smiled as she squeezed each of the twin balloons.
"I think someone is feeling naughty tonight," he said.
She opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted by a gasp as his hand lowered to her bottom and the sound of his spanking echoed throughout the room.
Malcon placed her on her feet and burst out laughing at her flushed face.
"You love me, don't deny it," he said and as if that weren't enough that caused the blush to intensify
She opened her mouth to deny it but closed it almost immediately. How could she lie when she could feel how her body had come to life at an incredible speed after that?
He kissed her, his lips devoured her mouth with a ravenous hunger, his tongue swept over every inch of her mouth as his expert hands slid down her bathrobe until the knot was undone, his wishes came true because when the fine fabric he fell to the floor with a soft whisper every inch of creamy smooth skin was exposed before him
"God, I love you," he murmured against her lips before reaching down and taking one of the turgid mounds in his hands and bringing it to his mouth.
Very soon sounds of panting and moaning filled the room, they made love until very late in the morning, their bodies were satiated and a feeling of warmth settled in Malcon's chest as fatigue began to take its toll. However, before falling asleep completely, he came to the conclusion that he would never have enough, he liked his life now and while Samantha rested on his chest, he wished with all his might that the moment would be eternal.
