THE BORN SPEEDSTERS BOOK ONE: A NEW FATE

About sixty-two years ago in the year, Two Thousand And Twenty-Two a lot of controversies were made about alien existence since their remnants were always left on earth until they proved to be real when the event happened that changed the world. Something glowing not exactly known happened to drop from the sky. All that was said was that the thing glowed with several colors of lightning as it landed on the earth in that same year affecting a cancer solution ceremony at the Ilorin Honorarium in the country of Nigeria. Mr.

Olumide Ogunsanya the current world's best scientist of the year who provided a drug for cancer which was in chemical form to be mixed with other liquids was devastated because not only did it lead to the death of many, those who lived didn't live an ordinary life. It was discovered that somehow the chemical components in the cancer treatment liquid mixed with the organic material and lightning the thing from the sky produced therefore penetrated the DNA of everyone present in the ceremony and they discovered they became metahumans faster than anything you could think about even than lightning itself. They were all known as the speed masters by Mr. Olumide since they were so faster and the first ever speedsters on earth at that time. The speed masters were so great that their speed was easily converted to an unbelievable human strength that couldn't be understood.

Mr. Olumide, therefore, feeling responsible for what happened built an institution called the World Speedsters Organization (WSO) whereby all those affected could train how to manage their speed and save lives in the country in case of another attack on earth. Soon they discovered that their lightning had different colors. With time Mr. Olumide got married and his wife Mrs. Jane Ogunsanya gave later became pregnant and gave birth to their first Johnson who carried the same DNA. They discovered that Johnson wasn't just fast but had abilities to manipulate science in an advanced way no one could understand. He once replaced their computer AI system temporarily with his abilities. Later on, Mr. Olumide decided to name Johnson's set of speedsters the born Speedsters since they were born with the speed ability and had other abilities that made them unique. Mr. Olumide also had several children who had abilities too different from Johnson. They were called The firstborn Speedsters because they were the first of their kind. There were other born speedsters called half-born Speedsters because they didn't have the abilities with the firstborn speedsters and had just their incredible speed. As time went on there was peace and order in the institute till a civil war arose within the institute as those who weren't okay with their power position wanted to rule it themselves. The institution with time became global as the speed masters comprised those from other countries of the world. Mr. Olumide was killed and with the help of Mr. Olumide's siblings, they fought back later on Johnson picked up his father's leadership and the same thing happened after he married Mary a firstborn speedster with the ability of Sonic Boom gave birth to his children who are also born speedsters too and he was killed but his remains weren't to be found as he attempted to manipulate scientific equipment by entering into it before he died. Before he died, Johnson was able to divide the WSO into three main divisions. The WSO main body, the Green Born Speedsters (GSO) and the Black Born Speedsters (BSO) based on their lightning while those with other lightning than that remained in the WSO body or led it. They all lived in peace till the black-born Speedsters and green-born Speedsters led war against the WSO main body alongside those who were on the fence not belonging to anybody of the WSO and that led to Mr. Johnson's death. Adebayo Ogunsanya, the firstborn of Mr Johnson, and the rest siblings in an attempt to investigate the case of the exact man who killed his father and face something different and new.

The present Year is 2082, Ilorin City Kwara State Nigeria.

Adebayo ran with full super speed through kamji highway feeling the breeze over his face and whole body and the white lightning glowing over his body before a portal opened and he entered it. He landed n challenge through the portal and then moved further to Taiwo Road GRA. He always loved the feeling of people and places at his sides being unclearly seen while running especially when he is in his thoughts. He dashed towards a tall huge three-story building that had a "WSO" sign on the upfront of it with his speed. "Julie confirm personnel," He said as the eye security opened at the entrance scanning his retina "Welcome Mr. Adebayo" Julie the artificial intelligence system spoke from the microphone outside near the eye security scan as she opened the door for him. He moved further not looking at the entrance room that was empty and went straight to the elevator at the side. In less than two seconds he was already on the second floor. As the door of the elevator opened he entered the third floor that had the inscription "MAIN ROOM" on the upfront of it. He entered inside the large room filled with advanced pieces of equipment A large round table with chairs around it and a large system on the wall. The rest were beautiful things to beautify the surroundings. He sat down on one of the chairs as he faced the large system on the wall. "Julie can I get a live feed of what is going on in challenge please," Mr. Adebayo said. "Of course, Mr. Adebayo" Julie replied as a female image that appeared gave way to a live feed of challenge.

Shola ran with super speed circulating the whole of the challenge "How far guys?" He said, emitting red lightning from his body and dropping a huge rock on the floor with superhuman strength that was blocking the graze of some animals in the grass area away from the main road. He was in his red superhero costume which had WSO symbol on it. He was dark tall and very handsome. He faced his junior siblings also in their costumes.

"Am on it big brother, am calculating the number of half-born speedsters present in the area" The young cute tall fair man amongst the siblings said as his eyes glowed and showed a computer program at his front. His lightning color was blue the same as his costume and it glowed and sparkled around him. "So Victor where are they exactly?" The young black cute lady amongst the siblings said facing her twin brother, her lightning color was yellow like her costume. Their faces were all covered with an automatic cover mask. " It's a diversion Sister Victoria," Victor said facing his twin sister. "How?" Shola said while trying to connect to the comms to reach someone from the institute. "There is the presence of fortine 20 around the area

Meaning it's those guys who work for the green born speedsters to harm the WSO born speedsters". Victor said.

"What's going on guys" Adebayo's voice sounded on their comms. " We believe that the workers who work for the green born speedsters are present with fortine 20 to weaken our half-born speedsters I'm the area are present," Shola said.

" I thought all fortine 20 along with fortine 40 were sealed up in Ilorin safe box area.That means the half-born speedsters would be néeding help. Just get there and help out I will meet with you all shortly."

Adebayo got to challenge the area where his siblings had reached and observed the area. A man holding a bazzuka fortine 40pro together with others holding the same gun threatened the area firing shots his rest siblings were taking cover at the back of a large wall. In a second Adebayo got to the man and took his gun from him and broke it into pieces converting his super speed to super strength then also used his strength to raise the man by holding his neck while the man struggled in pain. Victor created a shield from phone devices around him to protect himself from another one who shot the same gun at him until Shola also broke the gun into pieces using his natural ability of super strength combined with his super speed converted to strength. Victoria controlled the bullet from reaching her using her mind and hands as she controlled handcuffs from the police hands to handcuff the man immediately. "Turns out it's not only fortine 20 but 40 pro lethal to us," Adebayo said as he dropped the man down while the officers came to handcuff him. A tall black man wearing a lightning-proof overall fired a bazzuka bomb gun which exploded a car that was sent flying in the air and about to hit a lady. With super speed Adebayo ran to use converted super speed to strength to catch the car throwing it to Shola who let it down. "Hi, Miss" hope you aren't hurt Adebayo said looking deeply into her face with concern "No I haven't hurt it anyways thanks to you," She said in a relieved tone after being scared for her life and hurried into a cab that was passing by.

"Thanks, a lot for your help," The senior officer in charge Mr. Mohammed Adesoji said as he led his other officers to apprehend the other men into his police van. "You are welcome but always alert us fast these guys are dangerous not only do they have the equipment to harm humans they also have to harm we born speedsters, so we have to be cautious.

" Alright good day born speedsters" the officer entered and drove off while the born speedsters with super speed left the scene. While they were running Shola asked on the comms about the other half-born speedsters a few meters away from them that were weakened due to the fortine 20 But Adebayo replied that they have been transported to the institute by commander Bamidele

Adebayo relaxed on his couch in the parlor inside his big mansion and checked his WhatsApp for messages and saw messages on the Ogunsanya family group chat. It showed on the top Shola: Guys already told Uncle Gideon he asks for our appearance if we have the chance by noon today and also remembers we have our award event in Ilorin Honorarium Hall tomorrow by 9 pm. He just typed okay and also okay and appeared in the group with the rest siblings including their last born Kemi Ogunsanya who was overseas. He exited and checked his phone for messages he saw messages about his friends saying that they were sick or their friends were and since his sister Victoria is the world's best medical doctor he should give them their numbers he knew not all of them meant it some were looking for the chance to woo his sister which he disliked he just hissed he checked another message that was saying that a company bought his mass chemical produce from his science company for 20 million dollars and the evidence of the transaction was shown. He heaved a sigh and he prepared to go to the institute to meet Uncle Gideon.

The WSA( World Speedsters Academy) looked beautiful as ever next to the WSO institute. Mr. Gideon alongside some born speedsters just finished organizing a general meeting with the trainees. He received a tip that his nephews and niece were already in the institute he texted that he was coming to meet them in the main room. He entered the Main room as his nephews and niece rose to greet him. "How have you been doing," He said hugging them. "You guys have been away for weeks and you are back now that's good" He added. "Yes, Uncle we all went to places of our choosing we promised each other not to tell where we all went till the due date for fun and suspense," Victoria said smiling mischievously. " So Uncle Gideon the matter at hand about the bazzuka fortine 40 pro," Adebayo said as his smiling face changed to a serious one. "Ooh about that you all need to be ready because the same fate that happened to your parents and grandparents is about to befall you all" Gideon said adjusting himself on a seat. " I and My senior brother Samuel had discussed this protecting you all he has to be here to protect you all from this fate" He added. " But how did the fortine 20 and 40 pro escape the Ilorin safe box area I thought all of them were stored there by the government, " Victor said calculating an equation that shined out from his eyes. He also received a message about sales of his goods from his company as he was an engineer dealing with technological instruments.

" That is unknown. It means you have a new tough nemesis that you or your father has faced before someone different and must be stopped whoever he or she is determined to end us all" Gideon said. "I mean you know, apart from the green and black born speedsters, we have those in the middle those who were also our enemies and they are all coming for you all one by one. And I promise you all that the same fate that happened to your Dad won't happen to you all do train more" He said heaving a sigh. " Thanks, uncle Gideon we have got to attend the big event tomorrow hope you would be around you won't want to miss your niece and nephew getting awarded the worlds richest would you," Victoria said already standing up. " Alright would try but can't promise because of the students," Gideon said.

" Alright Uncle we have got to go now," Shola said as they all exited the room waving their goodbyes to their uncle.

Shola drove into the Ilorin Honorarium Hall building with his Ferrari latest model car. As he alighted he saw Adebayo, Victoria, and Victor waiting for him. Reporters surrounded them. as they all moved into. the buildings at once. " Sir and Miss can you share your feelings on being awarded the world's richest starting from Mr. Adebayo to MissVictoria and Miss Kemi who isn't in town currently," A female reporter said as she followed them with her cameramen. " Well, we just have to feel good and lucky and hopeful that their riches would be used to help the needy". Adebayo said as they entered the hall. The hall was so large and beautiful that it had a space up where people could seat to view the main building and had gold designs everywhere. A man anchored them where they were to seat. More people started trouping into the event and Victoria started looking around for Uncle Gideon.

The Master of the ceremony, a tall black man moved to the podium with a wireless microphone wrapped around his neck and to his mouth. " Well my name is Michael Ogunlana and you can call me Michael for short" Michael said as he talked and moved around the podium at the same time with a smile around his face. " You all are very welcomed to this ceremony where we award our ex richest the richest this year so sit back and enjoy the ceremony as we bring you songs," Michael said leaving the podium and Adebayo's song was played" Wishing you the very best" "The crowd cheered.

Victoria checked her WhatsApp on her phone checking for messages from uncle Gideon. She saw his message "Won't be able to make it dear am so sorry". She exited her WhatsApp app and doubled tap her phone screen and it turned the screen off. " Uncle Gideon won't be making it," She said facing her siblings "Damn it!" Victor said a little bit frustrated. "Alright let's just concentrate on the ceremony," Adebayo said as he looked up sighting a cute thin black waitress approaching them. " What wine would you prefer we have melot, sunshine wine, and Brine wine for VVIPs

"Melot would do," Adebayo said still staring at the lady that seems familiar to him but couldn't place her face. " Alright," The lady said as she exited their presence. " In a few seconds, she was back with 4 bottles of merlot wine alongside with 4 cups all in a large tray she held firmly with her two hands. She placed their drinks on the table. "Isn't she the lady you saved in challenge from the car accident" Shola whispered into Adebayo's ear then returned to take a sip from the melot wine? "Yes, I knew it," Adebayo said almost quietly. " May I know your name miss?" He said "Am Juliet " She said shyly and returned to serving other VVIP and Vip. Victoria winked at Adebayo who pretended to ignore her. " Well-done Big brother," She said sarcastically. "Well thanks for the compliment," He said with a grin on his face. " Wait I thought someone said something about focusing on the event," Victor said calculating an equation in his head."Yeah true" They said almost together in unison.

"Now we move to the main event of the day as we call the names of the world's richest in ascending order," Michael said as he reacted to the loud tumbling of the walls of the inside building of the Honorarium falling. A group of men in green costumes entered with their faces covered on their chests side thy had the inscription GSO

"Green Born speedsters," Adebayo said " We have to do this now" He added putting his hands on his wristwatch. There was commotion everywhere and people kept running around confused. Adebayo and his siblings went to a corner where they could change their wristwatch. They all changed and returned to the scene. Michael rose to assist in moving people outside of the building. "Already sent a message to Mr. Bamidele to bring some born and half born speedsters along in case they still have more people coming. Adebayo said as he faced the six green born speedsters that stood face to face with them also.

The green born speedsters who broke through the wall had a rocky huge appearance as it was his ability. He grinned at them. A green born speedster turned invisible and wasn't seen anymore. " Prepare for impact," Adebayo said as he and his siblings got ready to fight the green born speedsters. " Where did the invisible one go to, I thought he was just here," Victoria said "There is only one way to find out," Victor said calculating the presence of another green born. " Well based on my calculations. He isn't in the building currently with us" Victor said calculating equations in his brain. " Sir, We are outside it seems they brought an army of green half-born speedsters too we are battling them outside" Mr. Bamidele's voice reached through Adebayo comms. "Would you need help sir?" Mr. Bamidele said." No stay with our half-born speedsters and battle their green born speedsters" He said. " We may fight in a group but at the end of the day that huge rocky one is mine," Shola said with a serious face. One of the green-born speedsters a female threw green lightning at them but Adebayo weaved and took the lightning transforming it into white lightning and threw it back to her. She fell. Immediately the other green-born speedsters saw this he controlled sharp metals from around the world to gather around him and he kept throwing them at them. " Initiating group ability stay together guys," Victor said drawing lightning from his siblings and his to create a huge ball of lightning barrier shield around them. One of the green born speedsters signaled to them to retreat after getting a message from his comms. So they picked up the lady green-born speedsters that fell and one of them ran in a short time to create a portal which they all exited into. Adebayo stopped time with his mind as he and his siblings clicked their watches to transform back to their suits, then played back time Governor Alui Mohammed entered the building with bodyguards. " Am so sorry for the uncomfortability caused by the born speedsters. Am glad our WSO-born speedsters got to solve the issue? "It's alright your excellency hope you aren't hurt in any way," Adebayo said " No I just got here now," Alui said. "Sir, Joseph your friend the half-born speedster is dead. Was killed by the invisible one he got outside and before we could sense him he had killed Joseph. They all left because we had apprehended all their half-born speedsters except they got to Joseph Sunday" Mr. Bamidele said from Adebayo's comms. Adebayo held his head with his hands and was full of grief.
