In Loving Memory

Just few months after it was reported that terrorists didn't succeed in Iran and Qatar, Dra. Conception received a call from his Navy boyfriend that he'll be on a mission.

"How's my girl?" asked the man over the phone.

"Eh, you called. Don't you have training?" Kylie wondered as he usually doesn't call during the day.

"I'm going on a mission and I don't know when this will end." He informed her.

"Okay, Be careful." She said with a sadness in her voice. She has nohing to do with it because it is the nature of his job.

"Comeback safe. I love you." She added

"I love you too. Take care always." He responded.

"Oh I need to hang up. I have an emergency. Text me if you have anymore so say. I love you, bye bye." said the veterinarian before hanging down the phone.

She responded quickly as she saw a man running towards their clinic holding a bloody golden retriever.

"Naku, ang daming dugo. Anong nangyari?(Oh, so much blood. What happened?)" She asked.

"Tinaga po siya ng lalaking nagnakaw sa isang store matapos nitong habulin(The man who stole from a store stabbed my dog after he chased him)" explained the owner.

"Inna, prepare the OR" she instructed her assistant.

"Ipasok mo siya dito sa operating room.(Get him into the operating room.)" she told the owner then she walked towards the PPE area to wear her personal Protective Equipment.

Day 127, The Philippine Navy led by Lieutenant Alexander Mival boarded the military boat for their operation. Gunshots and occasional bomb explosions can be heard on the island. The Navy chased down the boat containing additional enemy weapons. They had reached the shore but team leader Mival and other companions went down to arrest the criminals. What they thought was a simple arrest but ended up in an encounter because there were terrorists waiting on the shore. It turns out that the boat that the navy chased was just a trap.

"This is a trap. Come back to the boat now"

The soldiers started to retreat but one failed to back out.

"Team Leader is missing" one reported

"What?" The chief exclaimed.
