Ivy had everything one could wish for-money, rich and caring parents, going to the school of her dreams and even a luxurious lifestyle with a company of her own. Someone knocked on her door. She smiled knowing very well who it was ‘come in’. the wooden door opened and Alfred her body guard entered her room. ‘my lady’ he greeted bowing, he raised his head up and upon looking at ivy he got the shock of his life. ‘what is wrong with you’ ivy asked staring at Alfred who was gulping while staring at the window ‘lady ivory…you are apparently dressed in your see through nightgown’ he answered looking anywhere but ivy. ‘oh’ she answered smiling foolishly then she started to laugh like a crazy fellow.
Chapter 1 1.
Corpses lay on the land, blood bathed the golden sand and vultures flew round in the sky monitoring the corpses, not a single person stayed alive…except one. A figure supported herself on a brown staff as she walked with difficulty, her white hair, ruffled and stained with blood of her enemies, dirt covered her face but if one looked closer you would tell she is a great beauty, she used one blood stained hand to hold her bleeding stomach and the other to hold the staff.
‘There’s a survivor’ she heard a shout and finally for a long time she smiled, she tried to walk faster to get to source of the noise so she can be saved. After ten breaths she saw three figures walking towards her, her face turned grim as she spat out blood in anger.
‘Ivory, you’re alive’ one of the figures said, he was a youthful thin clad in white and he emitted a graceful aura, he is handsome and looked like he can’t hurt a fly.
‘You bastard’ Ivory said angrily looking at the youth with bloodshot eyes; she couldn’t believe she almost married him.
‘Shut up you smelly bug’ a beautiful female clad in purple said.
‘You…’ Ivory said looking at Keya, her cousin, Keya had an innocent face but a black heart she hated her and her daughter for no reason but then again greedy people hated other people for foolish reasons.
Her father is one of the most important dukes in Mocha empire and he also the one who has the most terrifying military power that even the emperor dares not anger him which made the emperor to ask for her hand in marriage for the crown prince Adger when she was nine, Adger behaved like a kind son in law always probing her father’s mansion and she allowed it not knowing he was gathering information to go to war with her father, now he has killed every of their soldiers , her father and her twin brother , he even kidnapped her child.
‘Why Adger, why did you do this to me’ Ivory asked with tears threatening to spill from her eyes.
‘Oh ivory, ivory, my sweet ivory’ Adger said smiling ‘I did love you, but then I found out that when you were engaged to me, you gave your virginity to that cat, you even gave birth for him, you didn’t love me or did you?’
Ivory was shell shocked, she thought he did this for power but he did this for jealousy, all the thoughts of strangling him to death flew out the window when he explained himself.
‘I had to, I was drugged on a potent aphrodisiac, I was in another city on a mission with him and you weren’t there so I had no choice’ Ivory explained staring at him hopelessly
‘You should have searched for me I was there’ he said grinning with a sinister look on his face.
Ivory tried to think about something then he started to connect the dots of what happened the night she was drugged she coughed blood then looked at him fuming.
‘It was you, you drugged me’ she said as realization dawned on her
‘Bingo’ Adger said laughing
‘Bastard… where’s my daughter’ Ivory said with difficulty as she glared daggers at Keya and her fiancée Adger.
‘Oh that bitch, she’s in a high grade torturing cell and when she’s ten, am gonna sell her in a low class brothel’. Keya said smiling innocently. Ivory gasped angrily and she used her remaining strength to launch an attack on Keya but unfortunately Adger used ice element to throw her away and she flew like a piece of rag.
‘Arghh’ Ivory groaned in pain as more blood gushed out of her body. A high grade cell is where the harshest method of torturing usually occurs and it is aimed at giving the person a slow death and a low class brothel is where beggars can even sleep with women for two copper coins, even two copper coins can’t buy an apple.
‘Pathetic’ Adger glanced at her with a look of disdain ‘to think you’re next chosen great witch, and you are defeated like a fly, go die’
Ivory closed her eyes and a tear stained her face, ‘her daughter was just three and Keya is twenty five so how did her daughter ever offend the female cow’ Saya thought inwardly ‘but then again Keya was an unreasonable b***h’
‘Aiken, take care of her’ Adger said as he dragged Keya closer and smiled seductively at her.
‘Stop it my prince’ Keya purred slapping his chest playfully
Blood splashed out of ivory mouth once more as she stared at the shameless couple in disgust. Aiken a well built boulder came closer to Saya with an eerie smile. Saya smirked holding her brown staff with a jade on top; she suddenly got up and started to chant an ancient spell. Aiken tried to use his sword to kill her but mysterious force field prevented him from doing so, he flew back and used his head to smash a large rock… that was how he died.
‘She’s escaping’ Keya screeched wanting to go near her but Adger held her back.
‘No, something is wrong; I think she’s cursing us’ Adger replied staring at the ashes coming from ivory body. Keya still wanted to rush forward but Adger held her back.
‘Don’t, you’ll die if you get near her, let’s go’ Adger yelled as the turn their backs to run. Ivory laughed like a maniac as she stared at them ‘you’re running’ she laughed knowing fully well they can hear her.
‘Even if it takes a million years, I’ll take revenge’ she continued to laugh manically and her body turns to ashes.
