Cassidy was a left-behind rogue who lived as the pack's personal attendant to the Alpha. She was never to expose the real reasons why she allowed the Alpha to bully her, but after years of his abuse of her, she came to find out she was mated to the Alpha; he had no reason to want her and rejected her. Carter has always been the cute guy in his pack, but his only torment was Luna. She never allowed him to do anything he wanted, and anything he did, she destroyed. After years of torment and abuse, he discovers she is his mate. Laughing at her big party, she announces her rejection to everyone, making Carter the laughingstock of the pack. One night, both packs get attacked. In an emergency Alpha reunion, Carter meets his fated mate, Cassidy. But will they live happily ever after? Or will their first mates give them hell to the point of rejection?

Chapter 1 Cassidy

1. Cassidy

I'm sure those papers were here. It was my responsibility to make sure everything was ready. Alpha and his son are about to arrive at Alpha's office for their routine at almost six in the morning. It wasn't enough that I was their secretary, a high school teenager, an orphan rogue, and a wolfless werewolf. The only thing that can get me out of trouble is to lose the only thing that can save me.

It's bad enough that there's a blizzard outside. What if the Alpha throws me out in this blizzard to punish me? Those papers must be found! A small slide on the desk was opened, and I looked through it when the fall was pushed back up, crushing my hands. "Aaaa!" My voice rang out when I heard Benjamin laugh. "You are so stupid!" I yelled. As I looked around the desk like a stinking rat, what was the rogue looking for?" Finally, I was able to free my hands from the desk. Benjamin grabbed my right hand and pulled it. There was a snap of a bone. He also heard it.

As he placed his hand on my mouth, he said, "Calm down, you big crybaby. You disgrace the Fierce Claw Pack.". My knees buckled as he said these words, and I fell backward while pulling the chair with me. More laughter erupted from Benjamin. I knew he couldn't get me to the hospital, and I had to hold back the pain in my hands. It was not allowed for the pack to assist me in any way. I would be thrown into the cellar for a week if I dared, and if that was more than the Alpha considered enough, I could be left there.

Benjamin threw The papers at me while I lay on the floor, trying to be strong enough to get up. While laughing, Benjamin says, "I'm returning the papers you left here; I knew there would be a blizzard, and I don't want to have a rogue in my house looking for my stuff.". You're right; it's just perfect. I take the papers as he walks away, saying, "Maybe while you are out there, you can figure out where you belong.". Seeing that they have been written over with 'fuck the Alpha', I am visibly shaken.

Despite being the devil himself, Alpha Bradley isn't a fool. He will kill anyone who defines him. His judgment is based on who is worth it. His wrong calculations manipulate every aspect of my life to the point where I feel like a waste of energy. As a result of these papers, I should mentally prepare myself for when he throws me out. His computer is off-limits to me, and I cannot leave without Alpha's or Luna's permission.

It is already apparent to me that Luna Barbara's bare hands are stripping me. This isn't good enough. She made me wear her old clothes, which labeled me a thief. The clothes I wear belong to Luna. Everyone who sees me knows where they came from. As a seventeen-year-old girl, my body was fully developed, with some extra fat on my thighs. It would be nice if her clothes were a bit looser. Despite all the evil, she might do to me, I'm not dying of the cold. When the doors open, the devil herself speaks.

"What did she do?" Her voice was shrill as she shouted, "I tried to stop her, but she couldn't stop looking through your desk." It's bad enough that she stole your clothes. You are now responsible for it, Luna. Her goal is to get to Mom. Let's throw her outside into the blizzard. Benjamin replied, sounding mighty like his Alpha father, "Maybe a cold shower is what the dumb fat omega deserves to stay where she belongs."

It's not surprising that Benjamin looks like his dad-tall with muscles and a curly black hairstyle resembling a kid from the hood. In addition to brown eyes and no lips, he has piercings on both ears and stupid bracelets on both hands. He always wears a tight shirt and skinny jeans, driving his parents crazy with his foolish behavior. My hatred for him is endless.

I can hear the footsteps stopping right next to me. I'm still crying from my hands' pain. As I feel something hard blow at me, I think my writing is broken, knocking me back to the floor. "You disgusting." She hits me again on the shoulder. "Worthless!" As I move slowly into a fetal position, she hits me on my elbow and says, "Repulsive." Adding insult to injury, she slaps my hips and says, "Ungrateful!" I hear the doors open and feel another hit on my knee. "Luna, what is the meaning of this?" I listened to the Alpha ask.

Now everything hurts. I feel sore all over my body. My tan skin will conceal the bruises, but the pain will be unbearable. "This bitch stole from my desk!" she yelled at the Alpha. While I was lying on the ground, I heard him growl, making me stay stiff.

The sound of footsteps was heard going my way. "Is this true, Cassidy?" "Is this true, Cassidy?" was the Alpha's question, and I shook my head. Ok, if he knew I only placed the documents he needed in Luna's desk for his reunion tomorrow morning at eight a.m.

Benjamin said worriedly, "Dad, you might want to see what she wrote on the papers you needed this morning." I swallowed the big gulp of saliva stuck in my throat and swore this was the worst they could do this morning.

Suddenly, I heard the Alpha growl more loudly, "You've done your last prank of the day, Cassidy," and felt the Alpha's fingers go into the backs of my long hair. His hand firmly held my small brown curls. "Dad, throw her out!" "Let her learn her lesson in the blizzard!" He suggested, "That's exactly where you'll be, Cassidy, and you'll stay there all day." You're in trouble if you ignore my orders. "Is that clear?" In pain, I cried, "Answer me!" His spit landed on my face as he shouted in my face. The answer was "yes." Immediately, he flung me out the window onto the second roof.

During the blizzard's cold winds, I felt exposed, and in the worst pain I've ever felt. Despite the snow, the floor wasn't completely covered. The dirt side was where I landed after falling. Compared to what the Luna used to do, this was the worst pain I've ever experienced. My body did not respond to my commands, so getting up would be difficult. After a while, I lost my strength and closed my eyes again.

Despite being unaware of the time, my body was in complete pain as I woke up. When I tried to rise, I felt unbearable pain in my hand. "Aaa," I muttered to myself, forgetting the broken hand. Moving didn't make sense, but the wall storage room for my bedroom would be turned into the cellars if I didn't go to the town center.

Now that I was sitting on my side, I was covered in snow and barefoot and couldn't feel my feet. It was a skirt that I was wearing. By the time I arrived at the pack house, the other omegas had shattered all of my clothes. I own only two clean clothes because Luna Barbara did that last week. As I had to move my body again, it became more difficult. Both standing and crawling were out of the question. In what way would I get to the center of town?

As far as I know, I am not a werewolf, and I am supposed to have my wolf this year. The reason why I did not have my wolf is a mystery to me. Despite coming from a family of rogues, I never heard or read about a woman with no wolf because she was born a rogue. The window above must have still been open, as Luna shouted in her nasal voice, "Get going rogue!" Walking down the small cliff to the town center seemed the best option.

In tears, I look up at the dark gray sky and say to the moon goddess, "I don't know what I did to you, but please save me from this pack.". For being a rogue, I apologized." As I pleaded with the sky, hoping Selene would hear me, I said, "Don't let them harm me.". I couldn't stop crying; it was hard for me to live. Whatever I did, I was sorry.
