Chapter 1 Alexander Sterling

I sat at my front terrace and began to reflect on my mistakes but first I decided to go back to the times I was still a young and growing boy , remembering my innocence and all the right decisions I had made , full of happiness and bubbling energy that was enough to light up the whole room .

As I trace back to the times of my childhood , I'm reminded of the vivid memories of it , when the world seemed full of wonder and limitless possibilities, when all I had was happiness because there was nothing pressuring me at that point . It's strange how all the innocence and purity of my youth gradually gave way to the complexness and stress of adulthood. My name is Alexander Sterling , and this is the story of how my early days were , a little glance at when I was just a naive young boy with so much hopes about my future, dreams to be accomplished and many aspirations.

I was born with a silver spoon , my father owned a multi million dollar business that would be enough for the next 7 generations of the family . My childhood was a mix of enchantment and simplicity, set in a charming little town. I grew up in a cozy two-story house with white picket fences and a beautiful garden that just outside, it was a very big garden , I usually went there to play and to assist my dad in caring for the flowers . My parents were warm and nurturing, and their love created a safe haven for me. I was the only child, and my world revolved around the luxury they had created for our family.

The early days of my childhood were filled with excitement and laughter. I remember the warm feeling of running through the garden which had a pathway for me , my tiny feet brushing against the soft grass I nurtured , while I played there with my toy soldiers. Those days were carefree and full of adventure, where the world outside the garden which I couldn't access at the point was a vast, uncharted territory waiting for me to explore them .

One of my fondest memories is of my mother reading to me. Her soothing voice would transport me to far-off places and magical adventures. I would snuggle close to her as she turned the pages of storybooks, and together we would journey to realms of dragons, pirates, and fairies. The stories she shared sparked my imagination and planted the seeds of a lifelong love for reading.

My father, a very disciplined and hardworking , kind man, would often take me on fishing trips. We'd sit by the beautiful cold lake, the sound of singing birds and the gentle lapping of water against the shore creating a symphony of tranquility. He taught me the art of patience and the beauty in silence, skills that would serve me well in my later years.

My early education was a mix of school and home lessons. I attended the local primary school, where I made my first friends. We would sit together in class, our eager faces absorbing knowledge like sponges. My teachers were nurturing, guiding me through the fundamentals of learning with a gentle yet firm hand.

As I got older, my aspirations started to materialize. I was drawn to books about world-changing explorers, adventurers, and visionaries. I frequently imagined myself in those positions, setting out on exciting adventures and leaving my mark on history. These were the years when I first felt the seed of ambition growing inside of me. And the power to aspire, to achieve greatness and I wanted to change all aspects of the world.

There were difficulties throughout my upbringing, though. There were moments of letdown and failure. I can still clearly remember my first unsuccessful fishing expedition with my father. I was so heartbroken and sobbing, feeling as though I had let him down. However, it was through these vulnerable times that my parents taught me the virtue of resiliency and the significance of taking failure to heart.

As I transitioned into adolescence, I began to grapple with the complexities of identity and self-discovery. The once boundless world outside my garden began to feel like a maze of uncertainty. I started to question my place in the grand scheme of things and wondered what the future held for me.

I was exposed to topics in school that would influence how I perceived the world. History, the tales of civilizations rising and dying, and the influence of people who had influenced the history of humanity captured my attention. I also became fascinated by science, marveling at the universe's wonders and its possibilities for advancement.

The ambition for excellence that had been ingrained in me since childhood grew stronger as I progressed through my adolescent years. I desired to make an impression on the world and to have a constructive influence. This desire propelled me to do well in school and look for possibilities that would let me follow my aspirations.

My childhood was a time where I knew nothing and I was driven by innocence , love, and discovery. these served as the platform for the remainder of my life. As a growing boy I had hopes and aspirations and dreams that h to direct my footsteps and help me to become the man I am today. My childhood memories serve as a source of my daily motivation and a reminder of the limitless potentials that is present in everyone of us and is only waiting to be unlocked by the journey and the course of life
