Two people are arguing in front of a hot spring pool. "What are you doing?!" The girl asked with an annoyed expression. "I want to take a bath," answered the man, indifferent to him. The girl frowned. "Want to soak in by secretly peeking at me? Hah! That doesn't make any sense at all. I will report your actions to father!" threatened the girl. The girl is Liona, a human child who lives in the wolf royal family. He quickly left, leaving the man frozen in place. However, of course the man would not remain silent. He immediately pulled Liona away from reporting it. "Liona!" However, instead of Liona being interested, it was the kimono towel Liona was wearing that was interested

Chapter 1 Struggle

A queen seemed to be panting to catch her breath. Seen beside him surrounded by imperial physicians. He also struggled to fight the pain he was suffering from. The pain of giving birth to her first child.

"Your Majesty, inhale slowly and then exhale strongly. One, two, three..."

The female healer was seen guiding the queen who was about to give birth to her baby. The first baby he had been waiting for for years. He felt very strong contractions. Until finally the amniotic fluid breaks, indicating that birth will soon arrive. The doctors were seen holding the mother.

"Your Majesty, it's time to push. Follow my instructions," asked the female healer. The pain he suffered was like dozens of bones being broken at once. His hand gripped tightly the doctor's hand that was holding him. She had to try hard to get the baby's head out. His heart was beating fast against the pain that could no longer be endured.

"Your Majesty, the head is visible. Keep pushing and take deep breaths."

That is the time when a mother fights tooth and nail to bring her child into the world. Just to see how tiny the baby he had been waiting for was. He was willing to die just for the sake of his beloved child. Until he no longer thinks about the dangers that threaten his safety.

"Aaaaaaakkhh!!!"

In the end the tiny baby was bornto the world. Her sobs could be heard echoing throughout the palace. But unfortunately, not long after birth, it appeared that the mother was no longer helpless. His consciousness disappeared in an instant. Without having time to see how his son was.

Raindrops began to fall, falling onto the earth in the northern region of Romania. The wind felt like it was piercing your skin as it entered the night. The sky was pitch black with no stars shining. Cloudy, as if it was going to rain. There, in front of a dense forest, the cold night witnessed a person wearing a black robe entering the forbidden forest area in the north of Romania. A superpower that has a very large territory. Someone came with a basket. Which in the basket contained a baby who had just been born. The baby was covered in a thick blanket and seemed to be sleeping in it. He didn't know where he would be taken. He also didn't know what would happen to him.

The baby was a beautiful baby girl. She has curly eyelashes like a dollBeautiful. His skin is also reddish white with black hair. That someone put a basket in the forest. He seems inhumane. Leaving the baby without mercy.

The person then left without leaving a trace. Until finally the scent of the baby was smelled by the wolves there. The wolves approached the baby after the person left. The baby appeared to have been left alone in the forest.

Small, tiny and cute. The baby girl didn't seem to understand what was happening. He didn't even know where he was. He had just been born into the world in the middle of a drizzling night. The warm clothes he was wearing didn't seem to be able to ward off the cold feeling he felt. N The baby then cried as raindrops began to fall down his cheeks. The sound of his cries could be heard loudly among the wolves that came. He didn't know that danger was threatening him.

I watched my husband sign the papers that would end our marriage while he was busy texting the woman he actually loved. He didn't even glance at the header. He just scribbled the sharp, jagged signature that had signed death warrants for half of New York, tossed the file onto the passenger seat, and tapped his screen again. "Done," he said, his voice devoid of emotion. That was Dante Moretti. The Underboss. A man who could smell a lie from a mile away but couldn't see that his wife had just handed him an annulment decree disguised beneath a stack of mundane logistics reports. For three years, I scrubbed his blood out of his shirts. I saved his family's alliance when his ex, Sofia, ran off with a civilian. In return, he treated me like furniture. He left me in the rain to save Sofia from a broken nail. He left me alone on my birthday to drink champagne on a yacht with her. He even handed me a glass of whiskey—her favorite drink—forgetting that I despised the taste. I was merely a placeholder. A ghost in my own home. So, I stopped waiting. I burned our wedding portrait in the fireplace, left my platinum ring in the ashes, and boarded a one-way flight to San Francisco. I thought I was finally free. I thought I had escaped the cage. But I underestimated Dante. When he finally opened that file weeks later and realized he had signed away his wife without looking, the Reaper didn't accept defeat. He burned down the world to find me, obsessed with reclaiming the woman he had already thrown away.

I was four months pregnant, weighing over two hundred pounds, and my heart was failing from experimental treatments forced on me as a child. My doctor looked at me with clinical detachment and told me I was in a death sentence: if I kept the baby, I would die, and if I tried to remove it, I would die. Desperate for a lifeline, I called my father, Francis Acosta, to tell him I was sick and pregnant. I expected a father's love, but all I got was a cold, sharp blade of a voice. "Then do it quietly," he said. "Don't embarrass Candi. Her debutante ball is coming up." He didn't just reject me; he erased me. My trust fund was frozen, and I was told I was no longer an Acosta. My fiancé, Auston, had already discarded me, calling me a "bloated whale" while he looked for a thinner, wealthier replacement. I left New York on a Greyhound bus, weeping into a bag of chips, a broken woman the world considered a mistake. I couldn't understand how my own father could tell me to die "quietly" just to save face for a party. I didn't know why I had been a lab rat for my family’s pharmaceutical ambitions, or how they could sleep at night while I was left to rot in the gray drizzle of the city. Five years later, the doors of JFK International Airport slid open. I stepped onto the marble floor in red-soled stilettos, my body lean, lethal, and carved from years of blood and sweat. I wasn't the "whale" anymore; I was a ghost coming back to haunt them. With my daughter by my side and a medical reputation that terrified the global elite, I was ready to dismantle the Acosta empire piece by piece. "Tell Francis to wash his neck," I whispered to the skyline. "I'm home."

Rain hammered against the asphalt as my sedan spun violently into the guardrail on the I-95. Blood trickled down my temple, stinging my eyes, while the rhythmic slap of the windshield wipers mocked my panic. Trembling, I dialed my husband, Clive. His executive assistant answered instead, his voice professional and utterly cold. "Mr. Wilson says to stop the theatrics. He said, and I quote, 'Hang up. Tell her I don’t have time for her emotional blackmail tonight.'" The line went dead while I was still trapped in the wreckage. At the hospital, I watched the news footage of Clive wrapping his jacket around his "fragile" ex-girlfriend, Angelena, shielding her from the storm I was currently bleeding in. When I returned to our penthouse, I found a prenatal ultrasound in his suit pocket, dated the day he claimed to be on a business trip. Instead of an apology, Clive met me with a sneer. He told me I was nothing but an "expensive decoration" his father bought to make him look stable. He froze my bank accounts and cut off my cards, waiting for the hunger to drive me back to his feet. I stared at the man I had loved for four years, realizing he didn't just want a wife; he wanted a prop he could switch off. He thought he could starve me into submission while he played father to another woman's child. But Clive forgot one thing. Before I was his trophy wife, I was Starfall—the legendary voice actress who vanished at the height of her fame. "I'm not jealous, Clive. I'm done." I grabbed my old microphone and walked out. I’m not just leaving him; I’m taking the lead role in the biggest saga in Hollywood—the one Angelena is desperate for. This time, the "decoration" is going to burn his world down.
