Isla Hemsworth is a pure, innocent, kind, and a loving daughter to her mother. She spent almost half of her life taking care of her sickly mother. She was deeply heartbroken when her mother suddenly passed away, living her all alone. She had a surprise of her life when she learned that her mother left her an island as part of her inheritance. Getting tired of the hustle and bustle of the big city, she decided to sell everything, and she isolates herself to Risona Island. As years goes by, Isla is now accustomed to living alone in the island. Her peaceful and quiet world suddenly turned upside down when an unconscious and helpless man has been washed ashore towards Risona Island. The big question is, who is this handsome stranger and why are they destined to meet each other?

Chapter 1 The Last Will And Testament

Isla's tears started to fall from her eyes again while she is looking around her late mother's room. It has been a week since her beloved mother has been laid to rest, but it took her a long time before she can muster all of her courage to organize her mother's belongings. She forced herself to do it because she knows that her mother wants her to move on as soon as possible.

She is currently folding her mother's clothes and putting them one by one inside the box, when she suddenly stops because she saw her mother's favorite sweater. It was a light pink-colored sweater, and it was her mother's prized possession. Her mother wore it even on her deathbed...

Isla tightly hugged the sweater, while she is imagining that her mother is still alive, and she is hugging her back. But the harsh reality is, her mother is forever gone, and she is now left alone in this world.

As far as she can remember, her mother has been sick eversince she gave birth to her. As per doctor's findings, her mother had a congenital heart disease. The doctor told her mother that she has been very lucky to be alive after getting pregnant and giving birth, and being able to live until her own daughter became 31 years old.

Isla herself feels so lucky and blessed to be with her mother in the span of almost sixty years of her life.

But just like what they said, good things never really lasts. It was time for her mother to say goodbye...

Her mother peacefully passed away in her sleep. Isla is still somehow and somewhat grateful because her mother didn't feel any pain at the last moments of her life.

Her only consolation amidst of losing her mother is she will not feel any more pain, and she has finally come home to their Creator.

And now, she will continue to move on, and live her own life just like what she promised her mother long time ago.

She snaps out from her reverie when she suddenly heard the sound of the doorbell. She is expecting a very important guest today, and they need to discuss about something.

Isla quickly went towards her mother's stand-in mirror to check herself. She immediately wipes away her tears. She also fixed her hair and turned it into a bun to look neat. She also added a small amount of powder on her face, and puts on a little color on her lips. And once she made sure that she looks presentable, she lets out a deep calming, breath, then afterwards, she went out from her mother's room to go to the living room and open the entrance door there...

"Good afternoon, Attorney Emmett Gardner." Isla greeted her lawyer, with a polite smile on her face.

"Good afternoon, Miss Hemsworth. Once again, I would like to extend my condolences to you." Attorney Emmett Gardner sincerely relayed.

"Thank you, Attorney. Please, come in and have a seat. Make yourself comfortable. Can I offer you anything? Coffee, tea or juice?" Isla offers towards their lawyer.

"A cup of coffee would be good, thank you." the lawyer nodded in return.

Isla quickly stood up to go to the kitchen to prepare cups of coffee for the two of them. She also prepared some sandwiches for them for their afternoon snack. Afterwards, she went back to the living room while holding a tray with cups of coffee and a plate of sandwiches. She gave a cup of coffee to the lawyer and offer him sound sandwiches.

"Thank you. By the way, how have you been, Isla? Are you alright? Is there anything I could help you with?" Emmett suddenly asks Isla, after taking a sip of coffee.

Isla lets out a big sigh, but she forces a smile towards Emmett.

"I'm still in pain and I am still in shock because of my mother's sudden passing, but I'm still trying her best to be okay and move on with my life because I know that it's my mother's wish. She would want me to continue living my life." she relayed, in a timid manner.

"Well, in case you need anything... Anything at all, you can call me at anytime." Attorney Gardner reassures her.

"Thank you, Attorney. And I appreciate you taking care of everything after my mother's passing..." Isla spoke again, while looking grateful.

"And that's the reason why I'm here. This is the perfect time for me to inform you about Madame Hemsworth's Last Will and Testament." Attorney Gardner suddenly became more serious.

Isla straightened from her seat as she gets herself mentally, emotionally and physically ready for this moment.

Attorney Emmett Gardner opened his briefcase and pulled a folder. And before he opens the folder, he gave Isla one meaningful look, as he tries to observe her.

"Are you ready to do this?" he asks Isla. He wanted to make sure that she is ready, as reading the Last Will and Testament is like the last message from her mother.

He wants to know if Isla is ready to hear about her mother's last message, as he can't bear to see her crying. He feels like someone is punching his chest whenever he sees Isla crying.

"Yes, I am ready." Isla nodded as an answer.

She needs to go with it because there's no use to keep on delaying it. The sooner that she will be able to start moving on, she knows that she is making her mother happy. She doesn't want her mother to be worried for her anymore. She wants her mother to be happy and peaceful up in the heavens, along with his het father. And when the right time comes, she will be able to see them again.

Isla is secretly wondering on when did her mother start taking care of her Last Will and Testament. She is also curious to know what is her mother's last will. She is nervous and curious to know about her mother's last message to her.
