Karma for Mr Kim

There is a room that is so crowded by many people. Some of them are designers, reporters, and also judges. At that time, an annual fashion show was held at the end of each year. There were so many famous designers who took part in the event. Some famous models are also specially invited to show their designers ' best clothes at the Ity day competition event, some designers will show their best clothes while the juries will decide which design is the best.

            The last model had just entered the stage, she looked very beautiful in the dress she was wearing, everyone anticipated the appearance of this dress, everyone knew who the designer who made the dress and they were always impressed by the designer's masterpiece. A very lively applause immediately filled the room when the model appeared in a beautiful dress she was wearing.

           The fashion show has finally ended, the juries talked about which dress was the most beautiful and impressive. After having some talks among the judges, they have finally got their final say. One of the judges gave a piece of paper to the host so that everyone would know the designer's name who was the winner today.

              "is everyone ready to find out who is the best designer of the year?"the host shouted asking the audience who are present.

             "yes!!"the audience shouted enthusiastically.

             "I think everyone already knows who is the best designer of the year, she has won the competition for the past five years, she is a truly talented designer, I know everyone was impressed when our beautiful model Claire showed her dress, let's give a standing ovation to our winner, miss Song Ji Hyo from the K agency!!!" the shout of the host made the entire audience give a standing applause to the winner.

            "Well, I'm not doing my job to be a winner, I just want to show my best work to the world, thank you for everyone who always supported me and let me get this beautiful trophy" Ji Hyo said while lifting the trophy in her hand and immediately received a standing ovation from the audience. The grand juries gave Ji Hyo a large bouquet of beautiful flowers, congratulated her and shook her hand. After taking some photos for the reporter, Ji Hyo and Claire enter the dressing room.

            "thank you so much for your help today Claire" Ji Hyo said to her only best friend in the US.

            "it's okay Ji Hyo, you're the one who is doing a great job here, I feel so lucky to have the chance to be your model" Claire said smiling to Ji Hyo.

          Ji Hyo has lived and settled in America for ten years, she got a scholarship to continue her studies fashion designer study program for four years then continued her career to work at the agency" K " as a designer.

           She never knew if she would become this successful in her career and win designer competitions in her second years as a designer. Claire is her best friend since from college, they are in the same faculty. Claire is a very loyal and pleasant friend to Ji Hyo and she feels very happy to have a good friend in this foreign country like Claire.

             The woman was the one who helped Ji Hyo to adapt in the United States. She has the typical figure of a beautiful western woman with blue eyes and long wavy blond hair.

            "drt...drt...drt..." suddenly Ji Hyo felt a vibration from her phone, she looked at the phone screen in her hand and found her mother's name appearing.

          "my mom" said Ji Hyo trying to get permission from Claire to answer her phone calls. Claire just smiled understandably and let the woman answer her call.

         "yeoboseyo... oeh... oemma... (Hello mam)" said Ji Hyo answering her call.

            "my dear, how was your competition today? Did you win again?"ask Ji Hyo's mother.

             "sure, I won again, I did well mam" said the woman happily.

              "really? It was very good baby, I am so sorry that we could not attend your show for the last time" said her mother feeling very guilty who could not be present at the important moment of her first daughter.

             "it's okay mam I can understand it" Ji Hyo said calmly.

           "by the way, you already bought your ticket, right? Have you finished your packing? Make sure not to leave anything there " said Mrs. Song naturally nagging her daughter.

          "ne oemma... (Yes man)" said Ji Hyo in a barely audible voice, actually she just didn't want to really go back to Korea.

           "you start it again, why do you always look unhappy every time I ask you to go home? You haven't even come home for your vacation in 10 years, mother asked you to come back immediately after the graduation ceremony but you still refused, don't you miss your family?"Mrs. Song said while raising her voice.

           "No... I don't have any" said Ji Hyo feeling nervous, she felt embarrassed when her mother asked her about boyfriend or anything about lover.

            It's actually not that hard for Ji Hyo to get a boyfriend in the US. Some men are attracted to her and try to ask her to go on a date together but Ji Hyo always rejects them. She has not been able to forget her first love yet and she is not interested in having a special relationship with anyone.

            "so you don't have any? Why? I think my daughter is really beautiful and shining, I want to know if there is no man who is trying to ask you out?" Mrs. Song asked enthusiastically.
